Went here for a family meal pick up through door dash for my family. I asked for 25 chili packets and 15 soy sauce. I get there and was ignored for nearly 10 minutes because the customers in line seemed to be a priority. Once I was acknowledged in the pick-up line, granted there was a guy in front of me that they could not find his order. I received my food. I checked it off to the side and no soy sauce, no chili sauces. I asked and told there were none. I had to stop at Walmart on way home and spend a extra $6.00 and time to get. If you see smiling, happy Asians walking out of a fast food Chinese establishment (I have seen this twice at this Panda location), you would think it's good right!? Absolutely! Panda Express is a great fast food alternative to the typical greasy burger. The Panda attendants at this location are really friendly, always smiling and offering samples of newer seasonal items. My Panda faves are: Beijing beef (my ultimate fave), orange chicken, sweet fire chicken, and honey seasame chicken. I usually get the friend rice which is just okay - I have def. had a fried rice a million times better! Chicken egg roll, pot stickers and spring rolls are okay - again, nothing out of this world. Can't go wrong with the cream cheese rangoons with sweet and sour sauce - I order them every time! Don't come to Panda Express expecting an original Chinese cuisine! Remember its fast food (implied in the word 'Express" in the restaurant title)... portions are large, price is cheap and entrees are tasty! I'm going to be very transparent here. The only reason that I even walked over to get food from here was because I was getting serviced at the nail salon and had worked up an appetite after the waiting a sitting. The only other reason that I had chosen this spot and not any of the surrounding food spots was because other people in the salon were giving it such high praises. I am sorry, but that food is gross. It doesn't taste good. The only thing that was edible out of what I had ordered was the spring roll and that wasn't even all that good. I ordered the pineapple chicken or something or another with lomein. It was greasy, not seasoned well, the noodles were overcooked, the chicken was dry... Just all bad. The two stars is for the young lady who greeted me (her name starts with an S) when I walked through the door and was very nice through my time of indecisiveness as I looked through the menu and tried to make a decision. The recent times I've been to Panda Express lately the employees have been very slow taking up to 45 min just to have people's orders and skipping other customer orders that were there prior to the other customers. And the fact that the employees put little of food and not getting what you want on your plate is disappointing. If you can't read or know what the customer what's on their food don't bother working here!. Some people that have been at the restaurant have been waiting for up to an hour at that restaurant even made a scene because they didn't receive there meals and getting corporate involved how disappointing. This has to be the worse Panda Express experience I have ever had. They did not have any fried rice or lo mein as I arrived . They had no sweet fire chicken , broccoli beef or general tso chicken. I asked if they are planning on making them , she pretty much said no we don't have that today and they only cooked the broccoli and beef. One of the cooks proceeded to make chow mein and fried rice with no gloves on. Touching everything with his bare hands . The other young man finished cooking the teriyaki chicken and it was completely burned on one side. After about 20 min I asked the young lady on how much longer she planned on making me wait. I ordered three different entrees and all of them needed to be made . After 20 min none had been made yet. One of the cooks make a dish that no one had ordered and refilled that one. After there was another 8-10 people waiting for other dishes as I was . Two friends of one of the young cook comes by and he stops cooking to come say hi to them. Then proceeds to go outside with his friends . Walks to one of there cars , talks for a little and comes back. Then he asked the young lady , what was the food he needed to cook. The food is good. But most of the time have to wait for some food to be done, they tell you five minutes well that turns into 10 minutes. They really need to have one person taking care of online orders and one for customers ordering in restaurant. They will have you at the front of line waiting until they pack up the online orders then after they are done they finally ask "hi, welcome to panda etc.." it's annoying because that whole time you could be ordering your food. I have always ordered from this Panda Express and have never had a complaint. However, it's been a couple of months now that the food is not coming out as it should nor well cooked. The fried rice is completely hard as if it's not cooked entirely which has caused many unfortunate dining experiences for me. The attention from the staff has been a bit disrespectful lately. Clean and decent Panda Express. It was next to the hotel we stayed at so we decided to get takeout here. There was a homeless lady sitting next to the door. Poor lady. We decided to get the lady some food from Panda, a cup of water, and a little pocket change to help her. She was happy and walked off somewhere. Glad we and Panda did a good deed today. Where is the 0 start button ! Wow by far the worst Panda I've been too. Walked in no welcoming customer service. Girl serving food said there was no more veggies and it would take about 3 mins. I said that is fine I will wait .. in the meantime I ordered 1 plate with double orange chicken and fried rice which was ready .. my veggie bowl was going to be veggies and orange chicken .. so there was still orange chicken in the bowl .. instead of the girl already putting the orange chicken in my plate since I was just waiting on veggies she started taking the couples order behind me and of course the couple ordered orange chicken ... what do you know now I have to wait for veggies and orange chicken which wasn't even cooking yet.. I was trying to be patient and waited about 10 more minutes on top of the 15 mins I had already waited .. at this point more people were walking in and their orders were being taken a few people wanted orange chicken so they also had to wait but with their plates in front of mine on the table . At this point I was fed up because I had reached the 30 min wait mark which means my plate which was ready was already cold .. still no signs of getting my food.. I couldn't take it any longer I walked out. My advice for owner is train workers when a specific type of chicken(especially a popular one) is about to end start making more about 5 mins before so customer don't walk out. And don't put customers who have been waiting prior.. behind the line. All that I was asking for was my plate of double orange chicken and rice along with my bowl of orange chicken and veggies and to wait 3-5 for those veggies to finish cooking which I agreed on. I must admit the Kendall and Pembroke Pines Panda Express are by far the best . This location in Florida city lacks leadership and organization. As others have mentioned, the lines are way too long here even when I came to eat close to 3 p.m., which isn't really considered the lunch hour anymore. The cashier looked like a deer in the headlights, poor thing. I didn't see anyone cleaning up the tables after people would eat, so that was a bit of a turnoff. Not sure if I could give half a star but if I could I would! The WORST service I've ever experienced at this place. I don't expect top notch high end restaurant service, but these girls were really horrible at their job. The line was to the door and it took 7 minutes for one of the girls to start taking orders. When it was finally my turn I asked for white rice. She started to pour fried. I said again, I would like white rice and she said this is white rice. And I said ok, I want plain white rice. And she responded (very rudely) "it's called steamed rice". Ummm ok? I let that go. I asked for mushroom chicken- "we don't have it" Beef and broccoli- "we don't have it" Honey walnut shrimp- "we don't have it" Soooo i pointed at one of the 3 protein options available. She goes to charge me and I ask for some egg rolls and she said she didn't understand what I wanted. I asked again, pointing at the egg rolls and she rolled her eyes , sighed, and then got me the egg rolls. It doesn't end here: I handed her my credit card to pay, she charged me, and then said "sign this" and handed me the receipt. With no pen. I'm waiting for the pen, and she just walks off to help the next in line. I literally waited until it was time to charge the next customer in order to sign the receipt. I've always enjoyed panda. Originally being from California I was excited to have a Panda Express close to home. But today's experience really alters those feelings for me. The food was beyond horrible. Chicken was hard and cold. The white rice seemed to have raw pieces of rice in it and the egg rolls were sooooo over cooked that the inside was dried out. The food is not bad. It is made fresh as they are constantly putting new platters out. In fact the line tends to be a bit long due to that reason. They don't cook large quantities and therefore it's put out fresh more often. It is still fast food so adjust your expectations of having a supreme quality of Chinese food. But they don't add MSG which is a plus in my book. However the place is unkempt as almost every table had some kind of crumbs or sauce stuck on it. We had to wipe our table down pretty vigorously to be able to sit and not get funk all over yourself. They don't look like they have enough employees for the demand of the place. Food is good though. It was very clear that I did not want to purchase a meal. I was actually there for cookies. COOKIES!! About 6 employees passed me and no one asked if they could help me. I felt invisible.
