The Brownies Tempura were so tempting I had one before the picture

Well after a day at the beach we decided to visit an old stomping ground and have some sushi and to my surprise the great little secret in Homestead has just become fantastic. I guess they are under new management and you can tell the service was fantastic as we got treated like family and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the over ambiance was like always[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. But what got us going was the food. The menu is new and improved with a touch of what I would call some Peruvian influence and just some great food. All we had were appetizers but they were fantastic. [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you want a great place to bring the family or have a romantic dinner this is the place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

There menu has a lot of Japanese and Thai options. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was clean but we kinda sank into the seats.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I guess that's what happens to a popular restaurant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had a high chair available for our little one to sit in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I don like that we were seated immediately with no reservations.

Back again and once more had a wonderful experience. The service is quick and friendly, the food so fresh and delicious!! The chicken katsu roll is an ABSOLUTE MUST! This is my favorite sushi bar in all of south Florida.

The first time we were here the food was really good and the service was outstanding. This time it was good food but the service was sub-standard. No wasabi or ginger on the plates and had to ask for it. The prices have gone way up as well. Not sure we will return.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Food was delicious, they have amazing atmosphere, great food, music is nice and low so you can talk.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My new favorite place to be, very good for celebrations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was fast too.

Asked for a TomKa (coconut milk) soup and this is what I got.

I asked the waiter that the soup was missing the coconut milk. He said that was the way it was. Then after they saw me posting, they removed the soup from my check and said they made a mistake and forgot an ingredient. lol Also, I asked for a simple spicy tuna roll (classic) . Usually between $8-$11. Waiter came back and said they don't make that roll. That they made a spicy tuna crunch roll instead for $18! I'm in the restaurant business and know that you should always listen to the customer. We don't taste every dish and need to listen to our clients in order to have opportunities to correct the issue before it affects more clients.

Burnt Hot JB Roll with barely any decent salmon in it.

Friend and I walked in, we were greeted immediately and sat. There was only one other person in the restaurant at the time sitting at the bar. We ordered fairly quickly because we sort of know what we like and what we normally get at other similar restaurants. The woman took our order around 2:17p, he ordered a Penang curry and I ordered a hot jb roll. I found the rolls to be extremely pricy in comparison to a lot of other decent sushi places I have been to. So I expected some quality at least. Well, fast forward 30 mins into us waiting - I figured the curry was taking a while but the sushi I'd assume would come out fairly quick. The restaurant had two or so more parties come in. A few minutes later my friend gets his curry. The curry itself tastes well, but the rice was extremely hard. I waited a few more mins for my roll that still wasn't out, the waitress came over to let me know they were cutting my roll up. 5 mins or so pass and finally my food arrives, at which at that point my buddy finished his meal because it took so long for my roll to come out. I was highly disappointed in the quality of the roll. The breading on the outside was overcooked, it was hard to bite into it and chew. You can clearly tell it was left in the fryer too long. The inside I could barely taste because of the overpowering taste of the burnt outside. And even then, the inside didn't have the best parts of the salmon. It was mostly the grey slimy part of the salmon in there so it gave it a strong fishy taste. It was hard to eat, I wasn't able to finish it and after leaving I felt nauseas. Only reason it's not a 1 star is because the waitress was nice, even though she didn't come check on us after we got our food to ask how it was, or refill any waters. I feel that she was just busy with other tables at that point. Regardless though, for a place that doesn't have the ambience and quality of food, the rolls are WAY too pricy. I would recommend another place for sushi, but you'd have to drive out a little more. This is the closest sushi spot in the area for most people so o can see why some don't mind it. I've had better for cheaper.

Sake Thai and Sushi Bar offers both Thai and sushi menus. While the vegetarian section was limited, they mentioned that they can veganize any vegetarian item upon request. I decided to go for the seaweed salad, fresh tofu roll, and yaki udon with tofu. The food was delicious, and it arrived promptly. I also appreciated that they stayed open on the 4th of July, and I was able to get here after diving, thank you for your hard work and dedication. All in all, it's a solid choice for satisfying pan-Asian cuisine.

We were so lucky to randomly find this place and surprise mom for Mother's Day with her fave, sushi. The service is wonderful and Melissa was very sweet and attentive. I ordered the rainbow roll and it was fresh and delicious. The ambiance was great, they decorated the place for Mother's Day with balloons, it was very nice. We'll definitely be back for dinner very soon.

CRISPY tuna rice, more like BURNT tuna rice

This place has gone downhill since new management took over, they seem not to care about the quality or quantity of their food. The rolls have shrunk in size but have increased in price? now I wouldn't mind if I was receiving quality fish but you aren't. I used to love this place & it hurts writing this review but after going in a few weeks ago to eat Crispy tuna rice & I revived BURNT rice & I kindly told the manager & he was looking at it like it their was nothing wrong with it, it was upsetting for sure, I never return food even if I received the wrong order because I work in the industry as well so I try not to give anyone a hard time but, that was just disrespectful. I will never spend money here again & you shouldn't either save your money & go to Bangkok instead their Thai Tea is delicious there.

every item we tried was amazing, the service was impeccable. the sake was also delicious, had never tried matcha sake before. we also had the coconut and it was also very yummy

The curry was really good. My pad Thai was undercooked, the noodles were crunchy, that was disappointing. I wouldn't go back.

I've been there many times to that restaurant and it's one of my favorites in Miami area. It has a long-standing history of very good food and fresh fish. I had an appetizer of the three types of fish, tuna, salmon, and white fish. It came with a nice serving of ginger and I like mixing that with my soy sauce it was very good. They also brought chicken fried rice for their children and of course they loved it. The kids also had tempura shrimp rolls and they ate every bit. We had Kano su as well, and even though it was takeout, it was just as good as it would've been if we had sat in the restaurant. I will talk about my past experiences there. I've never been disappointed when dining in the restaurant and again this was takeout that we had, which is also spectacular. So dining in the restaurant it's very quaint and quiet even when it's crowded they do have a bar area for those who like to go and watch sports on TV, but that does not interfere with the dining room because you can't really hear the noise from the televisions in there. The service is on point every time that I've ever been there the servers are friendly very accommodating. Sometimes when I go there, I get t yum Goon and a flavor it just the spice level that I like. It's a great family option. It's also nice for a date night. I don't have any pictures post this time, but I'll get some for next time. Go there and enjoy it!

I've been a customer of Sea Siam since 2011. The service, sushi/sashimi, and appetizers…read more(especially, the golden bags and curry puffs) are invariably top notch! I drive 25 minutes each way because the experience has been consistently worth it. Has been . . . On my last visit there was variance. Significant variance. Their record of consistency collapsed. On April 3, 2026, I placed an order that was supposed to be ready for pick up in approximately 45 minutes. I arrived at my expected pick up time, gave my name, and was asked to wait a little bit longer for my order. Reasonable enough on a Friday night. All good. Twenty minutes passed. I asked for an update: "how much longer is it going to be?" I was told it's going to be another 30 minutes. They apologized, offered me a beverage, which I appreciated. That's the only reason I'm giving an additional star. Bottom-line: I waited 1 hour after my promised pick up time for my order. That's simply unacceptable. To make matters worse, when I opened my order at home, the sashimi portions were noticeably meager. Well below the standard I've come to expect for their Sashimi Mori. Maybe this is an outlier? Maybe this was the busiest night of the year? Of the past five years? Regardless, it's hard to ignore. I'm writing this review in the hopes that that a restaurant I love returns to the standard that earned my loyalty in the first place.
