Contacted the manger about an issue with an order and got no response after several attempts.

Online ordering is a joke. Always says that your order will be ready and when you get there they haven't even gotten it or started your order. For example on the app you can pick a time to pick up so say pick up at 8:20 pm. You get there at 8:20 to pick up your order and they don't even have the order yet. So, In reality, your order will be ready at 8:40 or 9 because the employees don't prioritize the "fast app" ordering as they should. They just take the people that came in through the door and then once the line is all gone they will get to the app orders... very frustrating what's the point of ordering online if it's not going to be ready when the app says it will be? read more

The honey shri.p and chicken were awesome. Crispy fried, not too done and the sauce was nice and light... perfect combination.

My mother stopped by after work to pick up a little treat for us since we don't eat out often. She chose orange chicken for me, which I usually love, however this "orange chicken" was strange and nasty tasting. It smelled strongly of vinegar and tasted of it, as well. I can't tell you why but that's unusual to me. It didn't taste as if it went bad or anything and I suspect someone either messed up prepping it or it was another product that was mislabeled. The fried rice was pretty okay and the crab rangoons were average, too. Personally, I wouldn't go there and spend my money after that experience but if it was on another person's dime or free, I'd try it out again and see if it was just a mess up. read more

I've been to this location several times with family (mostly because it has good proximity to the movie theater and the kids can eat here easily). However, a good location doesn't make up for bad food and slow service. The last few times I ate here, the food was cold, and the portions for one protein and noodles (which was mostly cabbage anyway) were half of what they should have been because they were clearly out of food and didn't have more ready to go. My cousin and I literally ate dinner somewhere else after that "appetizer". That bowl isn't worth $8, in my opinion, and I won't eat here again. read more

speedy service with order I wanted. Free sample was offered. That was nice, and the container they offered was sufficiently large. Sanitary environment. Only gave four stars because while everything was good, I mean it didn't wow me. Also I never used the bathroom there, so can't really grade that. I just use the MOM's across the street. Im a field service tech, I use to go to to Panda Express 2 to 3 times a week all over the Md, Dc, Va area for lunch and or dinner, I recently noticed they are giving you less food depending on who is the server. Last week around 6:10 pm I walked into the Frederick restaurant on Buckeystown pike location, there were around 8 people in line, It took around 20 minutes to get to the ordering counter only for the employee to say please wait while he was filling carry out orders, this took 5 minutes, I placed my order and for the next 20 minutes I waited to pay for my order along with the other customers ahead of me waiting to pay while the entire time delivery drivers were coming in the exit door picking up take out orders and keeping the only cashier they had consumed with getting their order correct, meanwhile all of us that were waiting our food was just sitting on the counter getting cold, New drivers kept coming in the exit door one after another, I finally got fed up and told them, "This is ridiculous, we have been waiting to pay for our food and you keep helping the delivery drivers!" They all looked at me dumbfounded and said nothing! I then left, I wrote to Panda Express on their webpage and have yet to hear anything back from them, I guess they just don't care, that's ok because I don't either! I was so happy when I saw how fresh the food looked until I saw the cook drop the wok spoon on the floor . I thought he would put it in the sink and grab another one but nope he put it right into the white rice. While I was waiting to speak with someone he did it again. I've always really liked Panda Express, but this location is a huge let down. It seems like they are always understaffed or too busy to effectively serve everyone and keep food prepared and keep the tables clean. I've been here 3 times in the last 3-4 months for dinner. Each time, the line wraps around the entire restaurant and moves like molasses, resulting in the seating area being either blocked or having people hovering over the tables when I sit down to eat. Each time, they've been out of something. First time, noodles. Second time, teriyaki chicken. Third time, vegetables. These are the 3 things that I go there for. Is it bad to say that this might be my favorite Chinese restaurant in Frederick? It seems like every other mom and pop place is wildly inconsistent with the quality of their food. I've never been disappointed at Panda Express. A girl name Erin took my order and was rude, immature and just thought she was so funny. Telling me and my fiance we had to share a sample and really only gave us one when we both wanted to try it . Joked about everything, yelling to the back of the store and having a conversation with other workers when we are trying to order . This panda is the worst. It doesn't matter if you order at 7 pm, and schedule pick up for 8 pm. They are not going to make your food until you get there, and if there's 25 people in line in front of you? Oh well. You're going to wait just like the rest of them, defeating the purpose of online scheduled ordering. & They are super stingy with the soy sauce, and refuse to pick up the phone. I've ordered multiple times and put "need soy sauce" in the special notes section, just to get there and find out they're out of soy sauce. I've called before to let them know I'm running late to pick up my order, and of course nobody answers the phone. When we got there the phone was ringing off the hook and the girl said "I'm not answering that f-ing phone." It's ridiculous, and regretfully the only close by Panda Express within 30 min. The other day I went in at lunchtime and the line was out the door, half the line was empty and the cooks were in the back lollygagging. When I got my food it was not very good. I literally only gave this review one star because my food was so good. This has nothing to do with the quality of the food and everything to do with the service. I was at this panda express location this evening and the service was terrible. Instead of serving me, the older asian woman who was working argued with another employee for a good three minutes instead of helping me. Ok... so as I was leaving the parking lot one of the employees rushed to get into her car and as I was backing out she reversed her car so fast she almost crashed into me then proceeded to roll down her window and flick me off and yelled obscenities at me then sped off in the other direction. Mind you she was still in her panda express uniform. I immediately called the store and asked to speak to a manager. I was informed that the manager wasn't in and I could speak to the assistant manager which was the same asian woman (i recognized her voice) who had just argued with one of her employees in front of me. I could barely understand her on the phone and tried to explain the situation to her and she confirmed that this was in fact her employee, yet never apologized for my experience and told me to call back later....WHAT THE HECK??? Who trained these people in customer service???? I am shocked and amazed and will NEVER return to this panda express ever again. read more

At this panda express in Frederick you have to wait at least 30 to 40 minutes to order your food then it ends up being cold then you wait to check out and the girl at the checkout decides it's a better idea to socialize with her workers then help you check out so basically it's the worst customer service read more

We had a great experience. The food was good and the service excellent. The server went out of his way to help us figure out what to order. I appreciated that he made sure I knew the dish I was ordering had peanuts, and that I did not have a peanut allergy. That was surprisingly thoughtful. The store is bright and cheerful with big windows and good lighting, and all the staff members were warm and friendly. We will definitely come back. read more

Man oh man, this is the best orange chicken I have ever had! Come here at least once a month and get the plate with fried rice and double orange chicken.
