All they've done is shrink the container, cut back on the food and raise the prices.The Honey Walnut Shrimp was fine. The Orange Chicken was dry. The rice and broccoli were under-cooked. The Spring Eggrolls were runny. I called them to tell them they did not bring two large orders of the crab rangoons and I wanted a refund. Only Chinese food I eat. Consistently the best! I had never been to the Lakeland location and although I had longer than usual wait because the entrees I wanted were looking a little dried out so I opted to wait for fresh and it was worth it. I had 3 entrees, kungpao chicken, teriyaki, & orange chicken with fried rice, a chicken egg roll and of course the fortune cookie. All were cooked to perfection! This was our first trip here in a long time and unfortunately, it was a bust. It's like someone failed to clean the grilled chicken it was very fatty. All 3 of us got it and didn't eat more than half of it. The orange chicken was okay at best. My wife and daughter didn't even like the fried rice. New location in town. Food is a step above mall Asian but not too far. The pricing is definitely reasonable and portions adequate. The staff was friendly and offered samples of the food. Desperately in need of proper management. Essentially run by teenagers who went thru Panda's rigorous 30 minute online training. If you do the 60 minute training, congrats you are the new District Manager and Head of Food Safety. Been here several times, and despite ordering online and arriving at the assigned time, the food is never ready and there is always a problem on their end. Then when your order is finally ready, the food is cold - how do they always manage that? I can tell you. They will pack up your oder while they wait on an item which could take 5, 10, 15, minutes while the rest of your order waits and gets cold and gummy. So if you do order from here know two things: 1. this will be far far worse than other Panda's you have been to; 2. If you order online, whatever time you are told it will be ready, add 30 minutes to it, and then 10 minutes additional wait time once there. Enjoy your ice cold food. read more

I stopped here today for a wok shrimp panda bow And it was disgusting beyond belief... The vegetables were old greasy and there were only a few pieces of greasy old discolored shrimp and they smelled like rotten fish. I will never go to Panda Express ever again. The last time I went to a Panda Express I specifically asked if it was fresh and I few fresh vegetables mixed in with a few old ones. This time I forgot to ask and to my surprise it was grosse. After a solid review of the promising new location I have to drop my rating. I arrived after 5 pm on a Saturday to 3 cars at the drive-thru, a person inside in line a head of me and a seated eating party. Greeted promptly, I still had to stand with no service for 10 minutes. One server was dedicated to a very slow patron who kept changing her mind. Two had ear pieces and were butting in to quickly slop food in styros for the "to go" line. 2/3s of all the woks were nearly empty and it was quite irksome to be there BEFORE the drive-thru orders and have to wait until AFTER they were served, emptying wok bins of food I'd hoped for and then would have to wait. All 3 servers were hollering what woks were "out" with little acknowledgement from the cooks. Then a thin Chinese woman (manager? black shirt?) shoved her way in to help me, with a shrill voice and poor English. I thought she may have said "noodles or rice?" neither of which I wanted but they were out of veggies (zero for vegetarians). I chose noodles but did not want it so packed that I only got 3 pieces of meat in the smaller bin like some of the drive-thrus got. She was so shrill in voice and not understandable I just took what she gave me rather than have a personalized order. She was shrieking behind her to make certain items. None of the other employees had any "speed" nor pride about them. The taste quality slipped. The noodles were far underdone and dry. Both chicken dishes were greasy. The orange chicken had NO orange flavoring. The kung pao was spicy but had waaay too many chilis left in (I'd be hospitalized for eating that many.) It was meaty but I'd have preferred more than 3 red pepper pieces and 2 zucc bites and 2 peanuts. There appeared to be cross "contamination" of the options as there was a heavy pepper taste on one piece of chicken and one piece looked like the new chicken breast selection. It was just a jumble. Instead of tasting "clean" like my meal four months ago, the meal was salty, greasy and gummy. I'd rather go to Chinese fast food than here--I thought this would be a "step up" in quality and healthy. It's simply not. The staff here was so friendly! I got my meal quick and it was good. I got orange chicken and fried rice. The orange chicken was delicious and the portions were a good size. The staff was so welcoming and explained to me some of their different types of entree meats, as I had never visited this location before. The line also moved very fast and the meal was reasonably priced. Will definitely be back. read more

I ordered 2 plates and a side of rice, they only give me one plate. So I have to go inside and they had to look at my receipt about 5 times within 2 mins to remember my order. Good Chinese food. Better than mall Chinese food. I could actually distinguish the chicken and beef from other restaurants' mystery meat. The chicken and beef were tender with good flavor. The restaurant itself was very clean, friendly staff and quick service. The chow mien seemed a little dry, I had to add a little soy sauce to loosen things up. I tried giving this location so many chances before I finally had enough. The food is awful. Like take one nite and get so grossed out that you throw the food out. The fried rice always tastes like it's been sitting for hours-completely bland and soggy mush. And how can you mess up orange chicken? Do not go here. I loooove Panda Express but this location by far has been the worst not that any of the rest were bad, but THIS one made me lose my appetite for panda sadly forever or at least from this location! I have a one year old who I always share my food with and I had the orange chicken and when I split it in half I noticed my chicken was all brown inside so I began splitting the rest and they were ALL just as brown inside it's disgusting, is it even real chicken, needless to say I ran straight to the bathroom, what a waste of money, and I almost fed that to my baby!!! I noticed my "fried rice" was also mostly white, it was like white rice with veggies with some tints of brown mixed in now that's not a real complain but it wasn't how the rice usually looks. read more

First and most likely last time eating here. It's the McDonalds of Chinese food. Had the bowl with chow menu noodles and orange chicken neither had any taste. The other person I was with had the entree with orange chicken & black pepper chicken. He had to wait 5 minutes for his food and the portion was very small. Egg roll was just ok. There's many things I can say about this particular restaurant, some good but mostly bad. There are two locations in my area and unfortunately this is the closer one so most of the time I drive out of my way to the further location if I truly want a good experience. There isn't much of a customer service aspect to this restaurant because it's mostly just an exchange between you and cashier when paying for food. The one star is strictly for food quality. Every once in a while I feel like redeeming certain places but this location finally lost my trust to ever return. I always order chow mein and my expectations are simple, to be fresh, hot, and a good balance between the vegetables and noodles. You never get that here. I ordered chow mein and as you can see in the photo I was able to pick out noodles because there were so few of them. Noodles are always so dry here that I have to bathe them in plum sauce so I don't choke. This restaurant could learn a thing or two from the other location in my area. read more

We have been to this location many times and never had a problem with food or staff, however on Saturday 3/20/21 @ around 445pm we decided to order through the drive thru. As we pulled up to order we noticed a man (of Asian decent) come out the back door with lit a cigarette who then proceeded to blow his nose vigorously into the air and on to the pavement...no napkin, no anything...without regard for the fact that we were looking right at him from 5 ft away and about to order food. Needless to say we were disgusted and drove straight passed the sign and window without ordering. Management needs to address this ASAP. We ended up spending 4 times as much up the street at Carabas, reluctantly, as we were still grossed out... In the event management or better yet corporate wants to look at video footage we were driving a white truck pulling a blue enclosed trailer for our business around the date time I noted above. read more

The past several times i have gone to this location they have been out of more than two items with the store not closing for at least two hours. This problem was made worse however by not only a " i don't care attitude of the staff at this store, but as i reached out to corporate they made lots of promises of "making it right" this was almost two weeks ago without even a email. Panda is a great concept i just hope a competitor moves in and shows them how it should be done. read more

We haven't even gotten our food yet so I can't comment on that. We have been waiting for 20 minutes at least for them to make firecracker chicken. They have made extra orange chicken when it wasn't even out. They boxed up our noodles that will probably be cold by time our chicken is done. Everyone is all over each other. Very disorganized. Our kids meal is sure to be cold since we got that right away. While the rest sat there open. Very disappointed and not used to this happening at panda. This is a second review as an update... I recently had the opportunity to order some party trays from this location. I ordered party trays for 12 to 16 people and some extra food just in case. I did not need the extra food as the regular party trays served the full 16 people without difficulty. Everyone enjoyed the food and it was fresh and hot at pick up time. I was very pleased with the catering experience and would definitely order the party trays again. Very good value for the money. read more

My daughter loves Panda Express and I drove across town to get her Panda Express after winning her first game. As I was pulling up, I noticed the lights flashed. I got in the drive thru, and went to order. She told me that the lights had just went out and that has never happened before. And I would probably need to wait 10 minutes or so for the computers to be back up bc she wouldn't know how much to charge me or how to take the money.... I told her I didn't mind waiting that it was for a celebration for my (5 year old) daughter. I wait the ten minutes she tells me the computers are coming up that she can go ahead and write down my order. Just about everything I went to order they were out of. I got frustrated and said you know, it doesn't even matter, all that matters is the chow mein, bc that's what my daughter loves. She then tells me they are out and I'd have to wait "about an hour." Kid you not. An hour. That they ran out and someone was going to another store to get some. What's the point of a restaurant that has no food? What a waste. read more

However, when I got home, the "receipt" they gave me was a grill ticket and didn't have any numbers on it so I don't even know how much I paid.
