Every single time I come here... it is a disaster. How hard is it to put the three items I order into one to-go box. Half of my order is always wrong and it's just funny at this point. Also, they ALWAYS seem to be out of items. No matter what time of day, they are out of at least two of the items I would have wanted to order. And their customer service is pretty bad too. If they do something wrong and I address it, they aren't really interested in making it right for the customer (and most of the time they have a bad attitude). I would steer anyone away from this location. I will probably drive 20 minutes to the next location if I ever want Panda Express again. read more

While waiting in line today, an elderly hispanic woman, who had paid for her food, jumped in front of me to ask for pieces of brocolli, in Spanish. 3 to 4 people had to cater to her every whim while making me wait. I can't tell you how angry this made me. Everyone drops everything because someone only speaks Spanish and makes everyone else wait. Keep in mind, she had already completed her transaction. Repeat, she had paid for her food and was returning to her table when she jumped the line. I told the manager, in no uncertain terms, their service SUCKS. The good news? The younger employees work hard and tend to have better sense when it comes to keeping the line moving. They seem to have better manners than their supervisors. Terrible service. The workers were very rude at the drive thru line. They had nothing I tried to order and had an attitude about me having to switch my orders due to there lack of food. One worker even had the audacity to mumble she didnt have all day as if I was in the wrong. I have stopped at this location many times over the years on my way through town. Today we went in and ordered. Line went quickly, but I noticed food wasn't being dished. I was called down to pay, but my food didn't come with. I stepped to the side to wait. Pretty soon, after a dozen people and about 10 minutes of waiting, I went back to the cashier. She told me they were still waiting on the mushroom chicken. No one mentioned it being out, or a wait, nor did they ask if I wanted to replace it with something different. I got a refund - which took a bit to get and still the mushroom chicken wasn't done - and went down the street. My friend who was three people behind me in line had eaten her meal by the time I was getting the refund. She counted the pieces of teriyaki chicken - 7. The service and quantity had diminished here. I'm trying to be understanding cause it's covid and everywhere is short staff but panda does this all the time. Teriyaki chicken is a premium item with that said panda as a whole needs to do something about those teriyaki sauce packets. Every time I order teriyaki chicken I always have to check because everyone seems to forget to put the teriyaki sauce. Don't charge extra for teriyaki chicken and not give me what I asked for. I think you should automatically add teriyaki sauce to the chicken if you know your going to forget to give the sauce packets. I ordered through door dash because my car is getting fixed. The kids got hungry so I ordered their favorite, teriyaki chicken which they didn't eat because all we got is dried up chicken that has little to no flavor without the sauce. Will never order panda through door dash again and if I do I will stay clear of the teriyaki chicken cause I'll probably not get the sauce anyway. The hispanic manager there is very rude to her employees. I have seen her push one of the young girls. On a different day, she was yelling at a different young lady. The fact that she is the manager and older than them does not make it ok for her to be a bully to these young people that are just starting with their work experience. It is NEVER ok to bully anyone. I went into Panda this morning for an order that was placed the night before for a Family gathering , the Manager Mai said there was no order for me she went and checked in the back and found the order written out but was placed in the Completed order stack. This review is primarily about a particular staff member that works at this location and not entirely about the quality of the food. I normally don't eat fast food, especially the bastardization of Chinese cuisine that is Panda Express. Chinese food in America is basically mainland street food that tries to swerve along with the health code. Panda Express is essentially expedited fast food that simulates Chinese style recipes that appears appetizing to Anglo suburbanite America with little to no nutritional value in any of the menu items. Because of certain circumstances I was forced to eat here when I was visiting friends in Los Banos; The food here was atrocious. The migraine from the MSG like substances in their over processed foodstuff is too much; especially the gastrointestinal problems that occurred shortly after I ate here was the worst! The reason I'm writing is because of a lovely staff member there whom was so intriguing that she deserved a positive Yelp review. First off, she is new and I think her name is Katrina? She's in her early 20's, Latina with fair skin, blackish/blueish hair, short, captivating eyes, and a magnificent personality. We spoke at length since it wasn't too busy and I found she was very personable, a real human being; witty, funny, and quite possibly overqualified & underpaid for her position. She seemed pretty happy to be working at Panda Express and that was amazing in itself. I guess in Los Banos any work is good work even if it's at a crummy fake Westernized fast food joint. Her intelligence and professionalism for being a new hire astounded me for how fast she picked up the job. Usually new hires, or even veteran employees, are still fumbling around or are just plain old burnt out. My message to management and HR is to not let this person go. Give her raises. I mean a real raise, one that provides a Livable Wage. Promote her. Treat her with respect and dignity. Give her full medical/dental/vision benefits. Make her feel welcomed. And give her paid vacation time after she overworks herself for Panda Express. I only met her once and I wish could recruit her and have her work for me if I didn't live a fortnight away. Anyone coming in to dine here, do it only to be dazzled by Katrina. And no, I'm not inviting anyone to hit on her, that's unprofessional and rude. She's very knowledgeable in many subjects and is a joy to have been served by her. Panda Express gets zero stars for the quality of their food, but Katrina's customer service is worth a hundred Yelp stars. read more
