Ultimately this is just fast food but it's good for what it is. The Shanghai Beef is good stuff. I also love the orange chicken. Every once in awhile at this location the orange chicken is extra spicy for some reason. I don't know how this happens, but most of the time it's good. read more

Really disappointed in this company in general but this location too. First, the quality and quantity has changed greatly. I had the misfortune at a couple of locations where people tried to get dark meat chicken with green beans by me when it had been white meat chicken always. They are sneaky watch them, I took it back and they played dumb like it was an accident. It was no accident. Then I got a batch of rotten green beans, again poor quality control. After staying away for a very long time I made the mistake of getting a bowl of chow mein. They used to make it with celery and cabbage, now it's cabbage only. Cheap ! They are hurting themselves trying to short change us! Without us they have nothing. Well this sucker is gone. Pretty soon they will be serving us dog. They charge too much and give so little! Save your money and find a good Chinese restaurant that will not nickel and dime you to death! read more

This location used to be a lot better when it first opened. The food used to be fresher and more flavorful. I would say that for the past two years, it's been declining. I kind of wondered if ownership changed hands or maybe management has changed. During my most recent visit, it was somewhat close to closing time. I got there at 9pm. Closing time is at 9:30pm. The cashier was not friendly and seemed annoyed. I purchased the orange chicken and fried wontons. The orange chicken was tough and dry without much flavor. I understand that since it's close to closing time that they don't want to make a fresh batch of orange chicken but when I pay full menu price I expect the same quality as what's served earlier in the day. If it's drying up and not good, it should be removed from the warming case. My kids have remarked that they don't like PE as well as they used to. I strongly recommend to management that they work on food quality consistency, boost the flavors back up and hire friendlier employees. I was kind of reluctant to go to PE due to the decline but was hungry for some Chinese food close by. read more

Online and on the door of this store it says they open at 10:30am. I arrived at 11 and the door was locked. I came back at 11:15 and the store was open, but they did not have steamed rice and said it would be 30 minutes until it was ready! I walked out. 45 minutes after the advertised opening time and they give me the excuse that steamed rice takes 45 minutes to cook! Ok, so why isn't it cooked, then? Does the store open at a different time than advertised or did you just not show up on time? Do you not start preparing food before you open your doors so you are unable to serve customers when the store does eventually open? This location always gives me trouble. Let me start off by saying I love the food at PE. Now, I have been to multiple locations in multiple states and to me it feels like they look for the stupidest people they can find to run their restaurants. I can't remember the last time any location got my order correct without me hovering, and this location was no exception. They were out of chow mein so I had to wait. Ok fine. Then as I'm waiting, they forget my rangoons. Then when I tell them about it they forget the sweet and sour. Finally chow mein is ready and we take out order to our hotel room. Come to find out they forgot the plastic utensils so I had to go ask the hotel for some and then they forgot to put sauce on the chow mein. I'm not sure what they usually put in it or how they make it but it was completely dry, tasteless and undercooked. Because of this experience, in a long line of idiots and mistakes I will never again go to another PE again. read more

Well yeah we like their rice and all but nobody wants just rice and noddles and some dired out nasty looking I think chicken .. the past 4 times they don't have shrimp. Why have it on your menu ??? This is the second time I have been to this location. I probably won't be back. Two bad experience and you have lost my trust. I was in at 3 pm and I realize that is a transition time, but to be out of half your items was a little ridiculous. I had to wait 10 minutes for the Broccoli Beef, which is ok, but when I got home, the Broccoli was undercooked and cold. The beef, also cold, tasted rotten. I ate the Teriyaki chicken but threw away the rest. The chow mien was made up of the little pieces at the bottom of the bowl, mostly celery and onions. Also, the portions were noticeably smaller than normal. I assume you were stretching to keep from running out while the cook got caught up? Just a side note, you gave the person in front of me a free soda because they had to wait, but not me? Not good customer service. This was a take out order and the drive back, at the end of a long work day, was not worth my time or I would have brought it back. It's 2014. There's no excuse not to keep your online menu updated. My brother stopped there on his way home from work, I had looked at the online menu for the store and texted him what I wanted. Neither of the items on the online menu that I wanted were available in the store. To top that off, they left out one of the items I did end up ordering. On the receipt, not in the bag. Minimum wage, minimum work I guess. I won't be eating here again, there are too many other choices to put up with that sort of nonsense. Can I give no stars? read more
