Not only have I checked in at hot dog joints and called them "Mecca," I've also attended City Council meetings and encouraged them to attract more hot dog places. This place needs to do better. I understand that employees probably arrive at the joint around 9 a.m. But could the manager ease up on the throttle with tossing dogs on the grill immediately? And the kraut ... it had a strong metallic taste this time around. I'm a little spoiled on kraut, since I make my own, but I can still stomach the canned stuff. This was beyond that. Credit card fees are just the cost of doing business and it seems petty to ask your customers to pony up more money and even worse they ask for a tip as well even through the drive through.
