About a year ago I was served RAW CHICKEN they offered more if the same while I was DISCUTED and opted for my money back. I hadn't been for quite some time. Went last week and the food was okay serving sizes were SEVERELY lacking. I paid extra for the shrimp as they advertise there's an extra charge, that's fine BUT FIRST the shrimp on the menu wsd no longer available, they offered some new shrimp, ok fine then my daughter received FOUR pieces, and the food made her SICK I could NOT contact corporate or leave feedback, the receipt is illegible. I called the location and was offered NEXT time will add a free shrimp. Which I'll probably pick up and give to the homeless in the area. They are REALLY LACKING now. When you're in the drive through, without any lights working outside & trying to hurry bc of the line behind you so you make the mistake of trusting that your order is correct....bad decision! It was okay. I had made an order the other day and it was Orange chicken, white rice, chowmein, and teriyaki chicken. It came back to me with the normal rice, walnut chicken, and mushroom chicken. I like Panda's food fine, but I am never coming to this location again. I know they're busy, but without fail, every time I go, something is forgotten. Chicken teriyaki with no teriyaki sauce to put on the dang chicken. Ask for soy sauce and I get home to see it's chili sauce. No pot sticker sauce for pot stickers. No sweet n sour for the egg rolls or spring rolls. The last straw was when I ordered spring rolls - which you have to pay for, unlike the sauces - and there were no spring rolls when I got home with all the food for my family. I am done with this location. I've given them chance after chance after chance, mostly because I understand how busy they are, I have worked in customer service and understand how hectic it can be, and I can get over a minor inconvenience of forgotten complimentary sauces. But when you forget something I paid for, part of my dang order, that's it. Sorry, but I would rather pay more to get some authentic Chinese from a smaller local business. We got there at 7:45 and they ran out of chow mein at first they said they needed to cut more vegetables and it would take 20 minutes. 20 minutes later they said they can't make any more because they ran out of vegetables. There were about 6 employees working 2 were cooking and only one filled the orders and cashier in the restaurant. it seemed like the others were working the drive through but apparently not since this irate women came in screaming at them to move the drive thru. apparently she was in the drive thru so long that she wanted to leave but couldn't get out. We love our Panda Express, and it's probably due to the convenience of this location that has made Panda a fast food institution for our family. This spot is a perfect halfway point between the Bay Area and the Sierra Nevada's and thus is the perfect dinner or lunch spot to break up the a four hour drive. The food is fresh and the place is spotless. I went into Panda Express today for lunch and when I get to order the guy behind the counter is not only rude but I felt extremely rushed. There was no one behind me, and only two people ahead of me ready to pay. I asked for honey walnut shrimp and he put maybe 4 pieces on my bowl, so I asked if I could have more and he rolled his eyes and put more in a side box with a big attitude. I get up to the register and the cashier asked --with attitude--- do you want sauce or no? I said no thank you. She continued to give me my total, which was way more then I thought it would be and I asked why and again with the eye rolling she tries to explain why, which honestly it needs to be posted if some food will be more than others. Menteca is a junction town where many people from out of town drop by for a quick snap on their way. Behind the shopping center, there's an alley that looks like a fast food outlet. Whatever you want, they got it. I named this particular area "foam container heaven". When I was passing by semi crowded In-N-Out burger, I found panda express right next to their business. Chinese buffet would be my last option when it comes to choosing a fast food restaurant, but Panda is much more than an ordinary Chinese buffet. I'd actually rate them higher than most of nation-wide hamburger chain stores. Without any hesitation, I stepped in to get blasted with a heavy weight load of greetings from the employees. Those young guys were the most delightful people I've seen behind the counter in a long time. They made my day and great supper too. Their prices/portions were a bit more reasonable than SF locations. Food was equally good and well prepared. I think they've got a good manager as well as employees. When we arrived we decided to go through the drive thru we waited 15 min to even get our order taken and when we pulled up to take our order she asked us to wait another 5 min. She repeated herself a handful of times on what I wanted to order and we were nice and just pulled forward after. We ordered honey walnut shrimp and it had another 5 min wait so we parked in front and waited for her to come out . She came out and gave us our food and we went on our way. When we arrived home we opened our food to dig in and right on top of my food drenched in orange chicken sauce was a medium sized cockroach. I couldn't believe it. I was so disgusted and my girlfriend was too she didn't even bother to eat hers after seeing it ! We got right in the car and went down to speak to a manager. When we walked in there was a huge line and being as nice as my girlfriend is she didn't wanna make a huge scene and make other costumers sick she walked over to the lady working the cash register and asked for a manger. When he came over to us he asked how can he help us . I said we just went to the drive thru and there is a cockroach in our food . I'm a vegetarian and I only eat the chow mein/Spring Rolls/Veggies. It's extremely frustrating when you go to a place to order something on the menu and they don't have it and can't make more! My husband and I are on the night shift and sometimes come late and if it's close to closing We go thru the drive thru. In the past my above Items have always been made if they were out. Went through the drive thru and they said all the cookers were turned off and couldn't make any of that. Just so frustrating when I know they can make it! I even called 10 min. Before my husband got there so they could cook it fresh and Nope!! When it's late and ur options are already Limited due to not eating meat and you drive 20 min out of town for them not to have what's on their menu! Fun fact to add: My debit card was used at this location (from someone copying my card) and I got a text immediately when the transaction went thru and the people that stole my debit were sitting in their dining room eating on my dime.
