Orange chicken bowl 1/2 rice, 1/2 chow mein

Even though there's no drive thru, if you order on the app ahead of time the service isn't too slow. Otherwise there's normally a wait but this location is very clean and helpful!

Their food is really good especially their orange chicken. They are constantly making new food so it is always hot. One thing I don't like is you can't ask for samples anymore to try something new to see if you like it. Their new points program is great. The workers are always friendly and it's clean inside. We have also done catering from them which has been great!

Fried rice, chow mein, orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, and spicy mustard.

I just experienced A+ customer experience and food from this location. This was Friday night, extremely helpful and positive associate. Definitely will continue to enjoy this location.

Ok I hate leaving NEGATIVE reviews but here I go . I went there last week on the way home with my mom in the car and she was craving Panda Express so we stopped on 8/16 at 4:06 :06 pm and Samantha C served me to make up two plates - one being a one entree and the second a two entree . The first was : 1 Panda Bowl they call it - Chow Mein x 2 MUSHROOM CHICKEN -MAIN ENTREE Second Entree : Mine - One Plate Chow Mein x 2 Honey Walnut Shrimp Honey Sesame Chicken Cheese Ragoons X -2 Panda Express Donation Total Paid $27.30 We got home a 10 min drive to find the plate with One Entree only had the two sides of chow Mein no main entree and that was REALLY DISAPPOINTING when you paid $8.40 for the dinner - your not wanting just CHOW MEIN. I tried calling the restaurant 5 times and the phone goes to their Voicemail and they will NEVER RETURN YOUR CALL OR NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE . What is wrong with this STORE ?????? I personally live about 20 mins away but I have my receipt still and will go by there one day next week to get my money back as I now don't want the dinner after all this . I was willing to drive back and get another plate but since they can never return a call ever - I am requesting my refund . This is not ok and yes accidents happen but please just return one's call after all of this . I will only get my order from the MV store on SMP like I have for my mom or Ladera in the future. #sorrynotsorry-

    Family meal bundle
    Rob G.

Had the family bundle with orange chicken, beef and broccoli, and honey walnut shrimp with rice. It was delicious. I feel that the noodles could've been a bit fresher but I still really enjoyed the meal. I'd try this place again. Overall, very good.

Sampling of the family meal consists of orange chicken, beef broccoli and mushroom chicken with chow mein

As a professional dating coach and a full‑time food lover, I take my restaurant scouting very…read moreseriously. My job is to help you avoid the tragic first‑date mistakes I've already made, like the overpriced spots, the bland dishes, the "why is this chair attacking my spine?" seating. I've wasted the time, energy and money on the other loser spots so you don't have to. But when I find a place that's clean, visually appealing, thoughtfully designed, and serving food that's actually seasoned, cooked well, and plated with pride? Oh, I'm shouting it from the rooftops. So let me put you on to my latest discovery: DIHO SIAM, right in the heart of Ladera Ranch. If you've followed me on Yelp for a while, you already know I'm a lifelong Thai‑food fanatic. I've been loyal to Thai cuisine longer than some people stay loyal in relationships. Since I wasn't trying to overeat, I ordered an appetizer, and let me tell you, this "appetizer" came out looking like a BIG FULL-GROWN lunch. I'm not a big white‑meat gal, so I asked if they had anything with dark meat. I ended up with chicken wings and drumsticks in a sweet‑and‑sour sauce. The moment I cut into that chicken? I ascended. The breading had that perfect balance...not too salty, not too bland...crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. I'm not saying I had a foodie‑induced spiritual experience, but if I did, nobody needed to know. One look at the rest of the menu and I knew I'd be back. Yes, I will absolutely make the 45‑minute drive to try their lunch dishes. It's worth it. And the prices? Shockingly reasonable considering the economy is basically held together with duct tape and vibes. Now, my one note for the owners: please, for the love of all things holy and iced... offer a dairy‑free Thai iced tea option. It was 94° today, and I was ready to down two giant glasses, but they only use half‑and‑half. This is California. We are oat‑milk, soy‑milk, almond‑milk, "I'm‑on‑Ozempic‑don't‑judge‑me" people. Give the people what they want. Add oat milk to the menu, put a cute little 4x5 flyer in a clear acrylic stand on each table announcing your new dairy‑free Thai iced tea, and watch customers flock to it. And just to close this out on a high note: I'm 100% coming back to Diho Siam. There are way too many dishes on that menu calling my name, and I fully intend to answer. Consider this my official teaser...I'll be updating my Yelp Elite Squad review after my next visit, and trust me, people wait for those updates like they wait for a second date after a great first one. I might even give you an extra star and make it a Five-Star review! Wink! wink! Stay tuned, because this place has officially earned a spot on my "must‑return" list. And don't forget to give me a thumbs up or a heart if you like my reviews and follow me!

Shanghai style smoked fish ($16.5) - This fish isn't smoked, rather it's deep fried twice creating an extremely crispy exterior and is dipped in a sweet soy sauce. It's a unique tasting appetizer, perfect for sharing. Sauteed string beans with garlic ($13.5) - These beans had a slight crunch and are a great veggie option. Steamed fish and shrimp dumplings ($14.50 - 8 pieces) - This is a good option if one is looking to get their dumpling fix. Steamed veggie dumplings ($14.50 - 8 pieces) - This is another good dumpling option that tastes great. However the dumplings aren't that filling themselves. Braised beef shank noodle soup ($16.50) - Made with braised beef, pickles, cilantro, bok choy, green onions, noodles and a savory and spicy beef spot, this dish is perfect for a cold day. Crispy beef rolls ($15 - 6 pieces) - This consisted of tender beef, cucumbers, scallions, and a savory sauce all rolled in a crispy and flaky scallion pancake. It's one of my favorite items here. Kung pao chicken ($16) - This stir fried dish is prepared with tender chicken, peanuts, and spices and is my favorite dish here. Sweet and sour chicken ($16) - I was impressed with the quantity of chicken in this dish. It was perfectly prepared with a crispy batter and a tangy and sweet sauce that really hit the spot! Pineapple beef ($16) - This consisted of tender and thin pieces of beef stir fried with some pineapple and is another solid dish to get here. Chocolate mochi xiao long bao ($11 - 5 pieces) - These chewy dumplings had a wonderful chocolate filling. Rose flavored red bean buns ($14 for 3) - I felt these were pricey but they had a good amount of filling and the bao bun was soft and fluffy. Golden egg custard buns ($13.5 for 3) - These are similar to the red bean buns, except the inside has egg custard. I really wish they doubled or tripled the custard, because the amount they give is miniscule, and it's for that reason I would pass on these. Overall I'm impressed with many of the items here and the pricing is reasonable. Even though I've tried so many dishes here, I wish they had even more offerings that didn't have pork. I'll definitely be back.

The biggest problem is unfortunately the thing with the restaurant's name on it. The xiao long bao used to feel delicate and deliberate. On this visit, nearly the entire basket had already leaked before we touched them. Once a soup dumpling loses its soup into the steamer, you're basically eating a steamed pork dumpling with an identity crisis. The wrappers also felt heavier than I remember, with thick pinched tops that became dry and doughy. The pork filling itself was decent, but the overall construction just felt rushed. The boiled pork and chive dumplings had the opposite problem of what I want from a dumpling wrapper. Too much dough, not enough filling experience. The chili wontons were considerably better because the wrappers were thinner and more supple. If that texture showed up across more of the dumpling menu, I'd probably feel very differently. There are still good dishes here. The rice cakes were chewy and satisfying and disappeared quickly at our table. Bok choy was simple and solid. The pig ear had good flavor and texture, although ours leaned salty and a little softer than ideal. What pushes this down to two stars is everything surrounding the food. Ordering and paying are heavily pushed through QR codes, yet the system isn't particularly intuitive. I tried paying through Apple Pay with Amex several times before realizing it simply wasn't accepted, with no useful explanation on screen. Service feels similarly detached. Everyone appears extremely busy, yet getting help with ordinary things can be strangely difficult. During our visit one of my kids spilled water beside the table and we were told it could simply be cleaned after we left. I'm not asking for white glove service, but sitting next to a puddle while eating is an odd solution. The restroom situation doesn't help. You have to retrieve a key and head upstairs into an older restroom that feels completely disconnected from the otherwise modern ordering setup downstairs. That's ultimately my issue with Sunny Dumpling House now. There are pieces of a good restaurant still here and a few dishes I enjoy. But the execution has become uneven, the service feels increasingly automated without becoming easier and the dumplings themselves are no longer good enough to compensate for it. I'd rather have fewer systems and better dumplings.

Since my tastes aren't quite as adventurous, we ordered the Sichuan sweet and spicy chicken and the mapo tofu. I wasn't sure what to expect from the chicken dish, but it reminded me of a chicken in garlic sauce. The portion was very generous. full of meat, and not very spicy at all. Likewise, the mapo tofu wasn't that spicy but it had a lot of Sichuan peppercorns, which provided that mouth-numbing feel. The serving was large enough that we had leftovers (and the chicken dish, too). Maybe because my husband is not Chinese, they toned down the spice level - which is funny because I'm the one that can't handle spicy. The restaurant is nice and modern. They have QR codes for the menu, but they also have physical copies as well. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the menu was much larger than the menu pics I had seen uploaded on Yelp (I added a bunch of new ones). Service was fine (though they were arguing over whose fault it was that a customer was ignored, which gave it that authentic feel). Plenty of parking in the lot.
