I know I've already reviewed this Panda Express but I seriously don't understand what management is telling them not to have things made! They use the excuse that they are slow and don't want to make everything, but then tell you through the drive through if you want something they didn't feel like making that it'll be a 20 minute wait! I'm sorry but why do you have a drive through if people have to wait 20 minutes for something?? Someone needs to do something about this. It makes absolutely not sense. read more

What a huge disappointment. The food was sub-par at best. You can find WAY better Chinese food in Mount Pleasant pretty much anywhere else. I was there around 6pm on a Saturday night and they were out of fried rice. Not like, "we're out right now making more..." just out. Come on. I got the black pepper chicken which really should have been called black pepper onions because the ratio of chicken to onions was awful. This was our first and last visit. read more

This is the worst Panda Express I have been to, which is unfortunate because I like the food Panda Express offers, but there is a lack of consistency at this location. The last three times I have gone there, the food has been subpar. Dry noodles, re-heated chicken... once they gave me a few of crab rangoons on top of a bowl of chow mein instead of a scoop of chicken. Poor quality. There are better options for food nearby. read more

This is a chain that is poorly managed. They close early and customer service is poor. Depending on who is working the portions are different. The veggies good but if you get there 30 minutes before closing good luck having them make you some. read more

I love Panda Express. Their Orange Chicken is the best as is their Broccoli Beef (because the broccoli is huge and delicious). So, when I saw that one was coming to Mt. Pleasant, I was beyond stoked because I didn't have to wait until I drove out to Saginaw to get Panda Express. My parents and I decided to try it last night. Our first visit was awful, especially compared to the two locations in Saginaw. The customer service was awful. The lady who got my food together was rude and kept saying, "What?" after everything I said to her, so I had to shout to her (as an introvert, this is a nightmare). The lady who was working the cash register was rude to my mom and we're both pretty sure she didn't ring up our meals right. They also gave us only one fortune cookie. I know that these are complimentary and, when I called to complain about this as well as the rude service, the lady on the phone told me, "Well we don't have to give you fortune cookies, they're complimentary." I know this. I'm not dumb. She told me that, if I want fortune cookies, I have to ask for them next time. However, the food was pretty good, although the portion sizes on some of our entrees were a bit smaller than what you would expect from Panda Express. We also didn't get our receipt so no free entree for us. Basically, I think they need to hire some better workers who are friendly and actually listen to what their customers are trying to say. As for my parents and I, we will be taking our business elsewhere the next time we want Chinese food until they get better service (if they ever do). If you really want Panda Express, save your business for the ones in Saginaw that give really good portion sizes and are very friendly. If you really want Chinese food, there are couple great ones in St. Louis and Alma. read more

My expectations were not high so I wasn't disappointed. I had the Beijing Beef, which wasn't bad, the meat was a little crutchy and sweet ( I don't like sweet), but it was edible. The crab rangoons were about the same as any other Chinese restaurant. I do plan on going back. read more

I used to love this location. I went there two weeks ago too, and loved it! I understand that this time is hard, but what happened to me today was UNBELIEVABLE. We waited in the drive-thru for 45 minutes--no big deal. We understood. We tried ordering a mushroom bowl with noodles. She said no mushroom chicken, okay cool. Beef and broccoli? Nope. I had to figure out what I wanted, so my boyfriend just ordered his. A bigger plate with orange chicken and vegetables. No vegetables. Okay cool, just rice is fine. Then we look, and there is his order and also an orange chicken with chow mein on screen, not what we ordered. Tried to argue we didn't want that, and she told us "well, it's already made so." Um excuse me? This lady FORCED us to order something we didn't want because it was alReAdy mAdE. At this point, I was pissed with how rude this lady was when we were trying to be understanding and patient, so we said to hell with it and said whatever, and tried ordering a medium orange fanta. She made it a large. Whatever. Also didn't want that, but whatever. We said that order is fine, we are good, thank you. The manager lady proceeded to list off other things to order like "aRe yoU sure like do you want firecracker shrimp, BROCCOLI BEEF, anYthing else?!" We had to drive away from the kiosk to get her to stop listing off the entire menu. I was blown away. She offered food that she claimed they didn't have earlier, which pissed me off even more. Come to the window, boyfriend pays, we look at the receipt, it's the damn mushroom bowl and rangoons. We finally get our order, she gave us 96 cents off and our drink for free (big whoop, you wasted a fucking hour of my time by this point). We get home, I give my brother in law the chicken on the noodles that she forced us to order, I got the noodles, my boyfriend and brother in law shared the bigger plate's rice and some of the chicken. The food was cold. We didn't get a straw. The lady in the window told us that she was doing service and cooking. There were only two people in the restaurant, where are your other employees? Not to mention that that is EXTREMELY unhygienic. If you can't run your restaurant, CLOSE. Or have ONE LADY COOK AND ONE TAKE ORDERS. Tell me the food that you are offering instead of making me blindly guess. I have NEVER complained about a restaurant, but I was so upset that we got treated that way. Either give your other employees hours, or close. Fucking ridiculous. I will NOT be returning. read more

I went to the restaurant tonight using the Drive-Thru. It was very slow, about a 25 minute wait. The food was luke warm and they did not have silverware or a napkin despite my asking them if it was in the bag. The employees were not very friendly. I was disappointed in the experience. This was the worst Chinese that my fiancé and I have ever had. The chow mien was like chopped up spaghetti noodles and were super hard. The beef broccoli had absolutely no beef in it. The orange chicken was so hard you could barely chew it. This was so disgusting and has really made this an all time low for Chinese food in Mount Pleasant. I hope they don't last read more

Service was excellent! Ms. Litza always has a smile and discussed the freshness of the ingredients, highlights the new offerings (tried the Angus Steak) and suggested the fresh cream cheeze rangoon (delicious!) We eat at the Saginaw and Jackson PE's when traveling. I've never eaten in the Mt. P site as I've heard numerous people complain that portion sides were exceedingly small. Decided to try as my daughter wanted rice. I ordered the 3 entree and side...2 teriyaki and a rice w/side rice. The (I assume) owner/manager dumps the chicken back into the bin she took it out of when the cashier said it was a 2 chicken not 3. Gets out a small box and starts stuffing chicken into it. I told her at other locations I always get 3-4 small chicken breasts (size dependent) cut up for a 2 entree and a large box of rice for an entree. We got a small rice box of chicken and a medium rice box of rice, that was to equate for the other entree AND a side. We got almost 1/2 the food we get in Saginaw and Jackson. When I mentioned this, she said the other locations were giving out more than they should. Some one in business isn't going to do that. Especially at two different locations hundreds of miles apart. Maybe they're not giving what they should? Might explain why they are never very busy. This store wasn't very clean either, at least, not this Saturday. Chili shrimp is bland and uninteresting. Egg roll was dry with too much raw ginger taste. Fried rice had under cooked carrots. Overall small servings and very expensive. They have a long way to go to become a real "Chinese kitchen." read more
