Terrible old cold food! I couldn't believe it especially for the price just threw it in the garbage will never go back.

This place was absolutely awful. First they took the order wrong at the drive thru and had to explain 3 times what it was that I wanted. Then we had to wait 10+ minutes for "fresh veggies" to be cooked and brought out to my car. When we got home they must have just dumped the the veggies straight in because the entire bottom of my bowl was water, the veggies were undercooked, and my shrimp completely soggy. What a waste of time and money. read more

The food is always good and with drive thru I was in and out. I ordered the bowl with chowmein and orange chicken and it was delicious and still warm when I got home. The only con was I ordered a drink and clearly the drink machine wasn't working because the orange Fanta just tasted like water. They should check their drink machine and make sure it's actually running like it's supposed to. Other than that, it was delicious!!. read more

This panda express is great. The food is for the most part fresh and hot and say that you want something made fresh, they will do it for you with no complaints! Their open later then most places in Naperville when it comes to Chinese food so I appreciate that. The staff is really courteous and sweet. As a parent of small children, having an extra option for food on the go is pretty priceless. If you don't have kids, it's easy to think, "just get out and go inside," but to avoid the whole *out of the car seats, through the cold, into the warmth, get the food, have to potty, back through the cold, back into the car seat* thing is nice once in a while. Even better when the kids are sleeping. So I've never actually been inside. But the drive thru experience has met my expectations, and the food is always fresh and delicious. They will let you know if they need to cook something to order, and then you may need to wait a few minutes. Fine by me for freshly steamed veggies or extra hot shrimp. Mmm I'm getting hungry. We've been known to get Panda and then stop by nearby Joy Yee for bubble tea to-go. read more

I'm Asian so I'm kind of biased. Obviously if you want authentic Chinese food, don't come here. But I mean, for a quick lunch break, and when you have a craving, this place does the trick. In my opinion though this place is a little over priced. With the amount of meat you get that is (I always get the orange chicken). I usually try and wait for them to introduce a new item to the menu because they they give it to you for free. Then it's like a 2 for 1 combo special. The new building is nice, but you would think they would have more seating. They have some booths, but during lunch, some people eat alone. So a table that should fit 6 is being hogged by one person. I'm guilty of this too, but luckily as I got my food, these two people were leaving a table. From the outside it looks like there's two floors, but no, it's just a high ceiling. I am giving this place 3 stars but I am comparing it to other fast food restaurants. First there isn't any other fast food Chinese restaurants that I can even think of. The food is pretty good for being fast food but 2 hours later you think maybe you should have ate healthier. The Orange Chicken & Hot & Sour Soup are always good. I also like that they tend to have new items on the menu pretty frequently. Lastly this place was clean & the service was good. We love Panda Express and stopped there after a movie. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The entire restaurant was so clean that even my husband noticed and remarked on it. I tried the new Wok-Seared Shrimp and Steak and really enjoyed it. We've always found good quality and I had enough for lunch the next day. (My husband finished all his that night.) read more

You will never get what you ask for, I don't come here often but when I do my order is always messed up, no matter what time of day you go they are never able to get through a line in a reasonable amount of time so you would assume if you are waiting longer, your order would be correct. Today they forgot half of my order, made me pull up front and I had to go back just for my receipt they didn't give to me and tell them what they forgot. Don't waste your time here. read more

Craving something that can fill that hunger ? Then of course come to this restaurant if you'd like to eat food that is no where near real Chinese food. Almost like saying go to McDonalds If you'd want whole ground beef in your burger, just doesn't happen. Although their menu is sorta diverse and they do tend to present themselves in a way capable of attracting hungry buyers, the quality of the food (which I think matters most) is not always the best. So if you are up for a quick meal and you'd desire something out of your normal burger tendencies with something not as bad, then take Panda Express as a fast way to quickly fill that hunger. Take care of the drain flies by the pop dispensers. It's so disgusting to be getting your drink and have them flying all over. They either hide in the machine or in the garbage hole next to it. It's a problem. They've been there the past two times I've gone to this location and the times were at least a couple of months apart. That much time and no one noticed nasty bugs flying around when they empty the garbage can that's under the pop counter?! read more

So disappointing today. We typically love Panda, but today's experience was embarrassing for your corporation. We went to a different location than our normal place and we will NOT be back. We pulled up in the drivethru at store 2058 and were the only car there. I ordered our food and was told there was no wait on the orange chicken. When we pulled up and paid, the employee, Stara, told us our order was not ready and asked up to pull up and wait. There were no cars behind us. We waited for 10 minutes, saw several cars pull up and get served and still we waited. My husband finally backed the car up to the window since no one was there and asked where our food was. The associate gave us a dirty look and said "well, we're cooking it, did you want old food?". My husband stated that we were told when we ordered that it was ready and there wouldn't be a wait and Stara replied with an attitude stating "well, then I guess I'll serve you the old stuff instead of fresh". Unbelievable. She came back and handed us a bag with no fortune cookies and when we waited for her to come back to the window, she said "I gave you all your food, what do you need now?" I asked for some fortune cookies and she shoved a huge handful at us before slamming the drive thru window closed. I know the unemployment rate is low, but there needs to be some major training at store 2058 and some lessons in basic kindness. read more

Check your order before driving away from this place! Today I ordered a plate with White rice and they gave me Chow Mein. I had asked for Soy sauce when I ordered and there wasn't any in my bag. I called them and they said that next time I come in I can get a free medium white rice. THIS DOESN'T HELP when you order something and it comes with the white rice anyway. I'm not going there to just pick up an order of rice. This also doesn't help that I'm going to be hungry until I get home tonight and eat dinner because I DON'T LIKE CHOW MEIN! Bad, bad , bad, slow drive thru, slow inside service and all items were unavailable. Even after waiting for 15 minutes for the food to cook, when we got home both orders were wrong. Noticed that the whole time we were waiting for our food, online orders and deliveries were going out the door. Lesson learned. Won't be back. This was our 4th time trying the drive thru and eating inside and every single time we encountered a problem with just 2 simple orders. Poorly staffed, over worked and poorly trained staff. I have had Panda Express food many times and always get the same thing. WORST honey walnut shrimp I've ever had from a Panda Express. It's seriously disgusting. It tastes as if they forgot the honey. The food tasted good until I found a piece of sharp plastic in my chow mien. The piece could not have been from a plastic fork because it was too small. Also the chow mien had way too much vegetable and very little chow mien. I know that it's poured out of a bag and no one has control over that. I am normally a big panda fan and know exactly what to order each time. At this location I ordered the family meal with orange chicken, kung pao chicken and black pepper chicken with fried rice and chow mein as sides. The rice was under-cooked, crunchy and cold. The orange chicken was stale and chewy, way over-cooked. Large piece of grissle in the black pepper chicken. My order totaled 39.00 with two egg rolls. Believe me, for those prices and that quality, I will not be back. read more

I like how this location has a drive thru although it is a little hard to get to it from Ogden Ave. you have to turn into the Office Max parking lot and then turn left right away. Sometimes the drive thru gets a little backed up during lunch but I never had issues with my order. And just fyi if you like egg in your fried rice - that is no longer available and egg has been substituted with corn. read more

One Whenever I get bowls with orange chicken and the noodles they never give me a lot of chicken I only get a little and the service is kinda terrible in Joliet,me and my aunt walked me b and they were by the cashier just talking Nd it took them a good 15 seconds before we got served. I came in today(Friday) around 8pm, I can say I agree with the review about leftovers being served, the fried rice was mixed with white rice "to cut corners", or just plain being lazy, I witnessed one of the employees pour back in some food in one of the to go boxes a customer didn't want, EWWW. I at this point was in plain disgust, the beef and broccoli was cold and the beef had a sand like texture. The so called manager was on the phone while cleaning the windows covering the food, but was directly spraying her paper towels right by the food, I blame this on poor management and NO adequate food training courses. The owner should invest more time into properly hiring the right candidate's. The staff at this location are always pleasant. Today, I witnessed something particularly awesome. A gentleman came in who was handicapped and had difficulty walking. Jimena brought his food to a table, drew the shade down to block the sun for him then proceeded to kindly bring him utensils and did it all with a genuine smile. It made me happy to also be a customer and I'm certain that man will be returning. Also, when someone donated to the children's hospitals, the girl rang the bell and everyone yelled THANK YOU. Went there Wednesday night at 8:30pm. I opened the door to go in to the dining room and saw water everywhere and 2 workers mopping the floor. They told me the dining room was closed and to use the drive thru. I checked the sign on the front door and the dining room is supposed to be open until 9pm. I hesitantly went to the drive thru because I was afraid I would get food that's been sitting out for too long. I ordered 3 (2-entree) dishes. I wanted the orange chicken and string beans with chicken on all three orders. They said they only had enough for 1 order of string beans. Sure enough, when I got home, the string beans were all shriveled, onions burnt, and really salty. I would've never ordered the string beans if I had seen it in the dining room. read more

First of all, I would like to say that Panda Express food is exactly what you would expect from a fast food Chinese restaurant and that is perfectly fine with me. I have come here to this location 5-6 times now and I have only gone in twice. When I am inside it is fine service, they get what you ask for and that is great. However, when I go through the Drive l-Thru it is a completely different experience. I personally like to order orange chicken or Beijing beef when I come her and they generally already have that out on the floor. I also get the chow mein. When I go through the drive thru I end up waiting 20-30 minutes for my food every single time. For example, today, I arrived here and placed my order at 1:05pm. Then I payed for my order at 1:08pm. They then told me to move up and wait at the front of the store for my order at 1:10pm. It is currently 1:35pm and nobody has come to apologize for my wait or even acknowledge that I am still here. Finally at 1:40pm a lady came outside with a bag and asked if it was my order and then walked inside. I then drove back to work as quickly as possibly as my lunch break ended at 2pm and upon arriving looked in my bag to find they had given me 0 fortune cookies and forgotten to put in the sweet and sour sauce that I specifically asked for both at the intercom and at the window. This has happened 3 times in the drive thru and I always like to give places a fair share of tries before giving up and now I know that if I ever want Panda Express to either go inside, use another location, or think twice about going. Hopefully, nobody else has this experience and I am the only one. The food however was warm and tasted just fine when I do finally get it. read more

I have tried the drive through multiple times and they always screw up. Sometimes it is giving the wrong food, some times the food is cold but most often it is missing food. Today was the last straw. I like this location. The workers are always welcoming and ready to help you, and the food always tastes fresh. Also there are usually all varieties ready to go at off hours so i dont have to wait. The drive thru is pretty swift and my order was correct so thats always a good thing lol. Inside It is pretty clean and the atmosphere is nice with the big open rounded front. Although it probably needs more seating at times, and whoever designed the parking lot is wacky (you can only get in and out from the north side,kinda strange) read more

Would give this place 0 star if I could. Really surprised that this Panda Express location earned 4 stars so far. I went there today with my daughter for late lunch. My daughter ordered the Szechuan fish. We waited for over 20 mins for it! We paid for everything that we ordered but the lady wouldn't give us any of our orders (all to-go so understandable) because the made-to-order fish dish was not ready yet. Who waits 20 mins at a fast food restaurant? Besides no one told us upon ordering that the fish would take extra time (because they had to go to an ocean and catch the fish themselves; it clearly came fresh from the freezer). The cook forgot to work on our order so something that comes out fairly quickly took an extra long time. I had to ask a couple of times before they worked on the fish dish which was already paid for at that time. No apologies or admission of fault on their part. Very disappointed about this incident! It takes a bunch of idiots to make a stupid mistake like that! Never going back there. The Chinese should be insulted to call this "restaurant" a Chinese fast food restaurant. Go to House of Emperor (75th St) for authentic Chinese food or Taste of China 95th St) for delicious Chinese takeout. read more
