Great experience overall! The food was flavorful and nicely presented, and the service was attentive. The ambiance is modern and spacious, which makes it a nice spot to dine. Fast service , has lot of parking, warm tea on the table is bonus

Another great meal at MingHin. We ordered pork congee, potstickers, shrimp rolls, egg rolls, gai lan, beef chow fun & whole chicken with ginger & scallions. Everything was freshly made & flavorful! Beef was amazingly tender, rolls & potstickers had good filling. We look forward to returning each year when we are visiting relatives here.

My family and I have been coming to Ming Hin for about 6 years. The food is so authentic and delicious. We have ordered dim sum, weekday lunch specials and regular entrees. There's spacious parking, the decor is Chinese and elegant, and the service is quick. The staff are very nice. The restaurant has many tables and can seat a big group. Note that the weekends can be very busy. They have other locations like downtown, Chinatown and Rolling Meadows. I can't wait to go back again!

Beef stir fried chow mein is one of my favorite dishes and this place nailed it. Its doesn't get more simple than this. I appreciate when places don't over fill the dish with veggies and is more noodle heavy. This dish was so good, I ate here twice in one week while I was in town for work. Both times did not disappoint and the dish was consistent. I found the price pretty reasonable. $17 for this dish where the portions could definitely feed 2 people or have enough for dinner and left overs the next day for 1 person. Either way, worth it. Ordered take out and they were on top of things giving me sauces without needing to ask and the placed it in separate containers so it wouldn't spill. Very thoughtful! Happy to have found this place, and excited to come back. This space is pretty big, great for big groups or Sunday lunch with the fam.

Best Chinese food in the area. Service is excellent. It's run like the military. Lots of delicious food options to try.

Enjoying dim sum out in the suburbs! After leaving airport we were too tired to drive back into Chicago Chinatown area. What a great option that open late in Naperville. Quick and friendly service. Order by menu and items are brought out to you. Highly recommend! Plus there is an Hmart and Kura closeby. Restaurant is open and clean.

I have had this place on my list to try for a while. Slightly disappointed, as I really wanted to love it. Best item was by far the Deep Fried Shrimp Rolls, followed by the Siu Mai, and Fried Rice. The Deep Fried Pork Dumplings were good but a bit too sweet for my taste. The Beef Balls and Pan Fried Vegetable Rolls are not something I would ever order again. Order came with various sauces as well as fortune cookies. A bit pricey in my opinion but interesting to try

when you need a late lunch and dim sum fix minghin is the chinese establishment for you we use to live in chicago chinatown retired in the suburbs there's minghin in chicago same great taste and service

Went here Sunday for lunch. Servicer wasn't friendly like American restaurants. Dim sum arrived cool and partially cold. Did they microwave them? Chicken dish was also cool and portion was so little compare to last time we ordered it. They brought sauce in the small plates and something was floating.... Plates were dirty. Found some black stuff in my water. A spoon came with soup was nasty. Also freshness of veggies....

    Pork with Preserved Egg Congee

This Minghin location is keeping their standard high while other locations have declined. Staff rotations can hurt standards so could just be temporary. Thankfully, the Naperville location kept my taste buds happy. Unfortunately, once the 30+ dishes came, I was too eager to eat that I forgot to take more photos of each dish. If you like dim sum or Chinese food, you shouldn't be disappointed ;D

The food here at MingHin is some of the best dimsum I've had then chance to try since moving to the suburbs of Chicago. I highly recommend everything but my favorite is the Japanese salt and pepper tofu! The staff is friendly and they are very quick with service, making sure your tea and water allow always full. It's a great space for a larger group and well designed for families with kids. If you're looking for dim sum or even for some really good Chinese, this is one of the best spots in Naperville.

Ask the Community - Minghin Cuisine

Does MingHin in Naperville still offer 20% off dim sum after 2:30 pm?

Yes. As of July 2023, the 20% discount applied from 2:30-5p on weekdays, exclusive of holidays, dine in only.

    Do they have a bar?

Unless this is a recent change, as of my last visit in November 2021, they had a full bar service in the Naperville location.

Is Minghin Naperville providing Curbside Pickup at all? Trying to find options for my senior parents to be able to safely pick up food from Minghin with zero contact.

I don't think they do curbside but they require masks when you go in and you can pay for everything on line, and pick up the food on a table. Very minimal contact if any. I've actually had dinner inside and they do a good job of keeping diners… Read more

Are there any vegan options here?

They do have quite a few vegetarian dishes. However, I do know if they would all constitute as vegan dishes. Their menus are online if you want to take a look prior to visiting.

Is the ma po tofu vegan 🌱?

Traditional recipe calls for ground pork. MingHin is not known for vegan dishes-the are known for traditional dishes.

Be prepared to wait a little bit for a table, or share a big one with another party at peak times. Prices are reasonable and portions are pretty generous. ===== Kind of lost count of how many times I've been. Love getting the dim sum and noodle dishes here. Some favorites: beef cheong fun with egg, siu mai, Singapore noodle, xo rice noodle rolls, spare ribs, pork and century egg congee. All the food has been very solid. Inside is always bustling and can be a bit crowded. Service is pretty friendly as far as Chinatown goes, and very efficient. There's a guy who works there who I think is the manager or something, because he puts in 200x effort and is always hustling. When he's not around it feels like something is missing. Prices are very reasonable and we like ordering a lot here so that we have tasty leftovers for later. This place has quite a few big tables and is good for large groups. My only nits are that very occasionally a dish or teacup will have a dirty spot, and that the bubble tea here is kind of meh. I don't remember exactly which one I ordered, but it was a little watery and lacking in flavor. It's also probably tough since they're boxed in by boba places now. Pro tip: When you first get your table, they'll ask you what kind of tea you want. If you ignore them or don't know how to answer, the default is green tea. Another one is to come at off-peak times. Not only will you get a table faster, but I think they tweak their portion sizes depending on how crowded it is. Definitely will be back! And I recommend you visit too

As far the service, I think it was a bit of a miss because we had so many people coming by our table but none of them could help without grabbing the guy who took our order each time. This option was not available for a "meal" that comes with a drink in the price. All bentos came with a soy braised egg (the yolk was jammy and perfect) and some pickled yellow daikon. The food was freshly prepared to order. When you walk in, there's actually several options to order. You can 1) order at the kiosk by the cashier 2) place your order with the friendly woman behind the desk or 3) sit down at a table and order using the QR code at each table. The space was modern and clean, with a few tables near the front entrance that would fit a party of 4, but mostly tables and chairs along the side wall that would fit 2. Seating is similar to what you'd see at a standard cafe (like one that serves espresso/coffee drinks) so it might not be the best place if you have a large party and want to sit together. There was a friendly men and woman who were cooking in the kitchen and taking/servers orders, respectively. It was definitely a mom and pop vibe, which I love and am happy to support their business. Taiwanese noodle soup is on their menu but it's "coming soon." Once their noodle soup is being served, we will definitely be back to try it. It would be perfect during the colder months. Five stars!
