On this occasion I wanted something quick but also something that brought me back some memories. I went to Panda Express, why the memories that is another story. As I entered you are hit with the wonderful aromas of different dishes being served. You are greeted with the person that will take your order promptly, very courteous personnel. The food; I choose Orange Chicken with Beijing Beef and Lo Mein Noodles. The chicken was good well prepared and the beef order was equally flavorful with just the right amount of spiciness. The noodles were ok it was missing something or just not cooked properly but they weren't as I remembered. Overall the place is good with just the right amount of seating and the location makes it an easy get in and out with the option of the use of the drive thru. read more

The employee told me it was her first day after she put about 3 pieces of Beijing Beef on my Panda Bowl. I asked if that was the portion, and the manager came over to show her how much to scoop. She placed a few morsels of beef and onions and that was it. This is the portion I received even after I said something to the cashier. Turned out it was soggy and too spicy which means it was old. If you've ever had fresh Beijing Beef, it's crispy and balanced between spicy and sweet. Yuck and a waste of $30 today. My friend's teriyaki chicken was a rubbery texture and either not well cooked or sat on the hot line too long. She did not eat it and chose not to say anything to management. Stopped by yesterday around 1:30 for our Kungpao and teriyaki chicken fix. Servers were friendly and helpful. Food was freshly made. We ordered a family meal to-go with fried rice, Chowmein, kungpao chicken, teriyaki chicken and black pepper angus beef. Everything tasted as expected. I did notice though that servings were slightly smaller here. Also, this is the second location where our order did not come with fortune cookies which made us wonder if Panda Express has stopped giving them all together. As much as I love the Panda Express chain, this particular location has given me food poisoning twice now. This time around it was undeniable considering my partner who also had chicken got sick. I went this morning at 10:50 when they open at 9:30 and they had only a handful of items to choose from. While the lady working the counter started off right away giving us attitude. When we eventually got our food 13 minutes later(when they said everything will be ready in 5) our chow mein,and orange chicken was hard and cold and to top it off our rangoons where burnt. I go to panda at least twice a week and this by far was the worst experience,maybe management should plan to get there earlier if there is not enough people to prep properly. Showed up at this location at 8pm, lobby closed at 9pm and Drive-thru at 10pm. My daughter ordered 3 different entrees to be told they we out for the evening. Then she wanted a drink from the tea bar(only panda in new Braunfels with a tea bar) to be told the Tea bar was closed for the night BUT the panda tea was really good if she wanted to try it the next time we came in. I know staffing is hard this day and age but when we arrive there was plenty of staffing for a Friday night that this type of service is unacceptable. I enjoy stopping by Panda Express whenever I'm near one (typically once a month if that). This is probably the first one that I can recall that I could feel the positive energy in their team when I entered! I was greeted by everyone, then the manager, Kris I believe started my plate. You could tell she was certainly the driving force with the positive energy! Very friendly and polite too! I dined in and could hear their communication as well, making sure all items were available or start a new batch if one item was getting low. The greeting continued afterwards with every customer that entered. I would highly recommend this Panda Express due to their staff and environment! Huge props for getting the hot mustard sauce right! In all my prior experience "hot mustard" in a packet is a bland waste. As if the person putting the order together ran out and thought I wouldn't notice. The portion of the entree was about half of what the normally give. They also asked if I wanted any sauce. I decided to stop by this location around 1:30 pm. Normally this is a just ok location, today they were really fast and they looked a little slow. So working in the industry I'd expect different outcomes in the why they were so fast. Three things came to mind. 1) they just had a pop and had extra food. 2) they were selling old and nasty food. 3) ask the customer to wait to make fresh and yummy food. So, what I got was 1) the wrong food. And 2) an order of crab ragoons that had been sitting under the heat lamp for WAY TOO lONG., they had no filling cause they were fried for too long. I normally would let things slide but when they're selling food that what I believe is below their company's standards makes me not want to come back to this location. RED FLAG!!! We just left this establishment. When we got to the window to pay our bill was $15.26. The very nice lady at the window said they are short on coins, if they can round it to the dollar? My husband said yes and they gave us $4 back. I told her we have .26 cents so we can get $5 back. So they did but were confuse. If they are going to round to the next dollar they should have given us $5 back instead of $4. Makes me wonder how many people this has happen to read more

As a resident of New Braunfels and someone who enjoys the fact that Panda Express offers decent Chinese food for a very good price I frequent this location, mostly using the drive thru. While I have never had an issue with the drive thru itself, and the staff is always very kind and helpful, my bigger issue is with this location as a whole. There have been multiple times I've come in the evening 7-9pm where the drive thru or full restaurant is closed completely, or they are "out" of some of their main dishes. In addition as of today, there have been two times where I have come around lunch time and the restaurant is closed for various reasons. Today the sign says there is a maintenance issue. I understand that may be maintenance issues that may impact cooking some dishes or credit vs. cash, but closing the whole store on a Saturday lunch time? If this were a one time deal it wouldn't be so bad, but it is just another in what I feel is a long line of schedule irregularities from this location. read more

My family and I just dined at Panda Express at Creekside New Braunfels, and I don't know if we will be coming back any time soon. We literally witnessed the sloppiest handling of food, counted zero servers using gloves including the manager, dropping the tongs and spoons fully into the rice/noodles, and grabbing them and re-using them like no big deal..right in front of customers. Went to the drive thru at lunch 7/13/20 and found the employee at the window and others inside weren't wearing a mask! I asked why not and they said they ran out, but yet still operating. Came here with the fam for a late lunch. This area Town Center Creekside is really growing and although we are not Panda Express fans, it is nice to have some eatery alternatives. The place was clean and the customer service was excellent. The store was very clean. Great atmosphere. You don't come here for amazing Chinese food but for a quick bite that won't cost you a lot and is still healthier than burger options and tasty. My son had the fried rice bowl with orange chicken, daughter had chow mein bowl with honey sesame chicken (this was new and nice-a sweet taste to it), hubs had a fried rice bowl with mushroom chicken and veggies and I had the fried rice plate with teriyaki chicken and Orange chicken. We shared a few egg rolls. The worker asked if we'd like to try their fresh strawberry lemonade and it was very refreshing so we bought one. We were satisfied and the servings are large email we took a nice helping home for lunch leftovers. We may be back soon. read more
