Extremely bad food service.I ordered bigger plate with noodles,string beans chicken breast,Shanghai angus steak and mushroom chicken from drivethru. I tried the new Steak and Shrimp offering and the Orange Chicken. Both were very good. I usually get the Honey Walnut Shrimp and Pepper Chicken, but glad I tried something different. Only gave it 4 stars because the tables needed to be wiped down. Staff was friendly and polite. read more

One of the last places that refuses to open their lobby for customers. While other panda express stores will let you come in to order, this location will only allow you to pick up an online order which makes zero sense. So your options are weight in the long drive through line or go elsewhere which I would highly recommend! read more

This restaurant is terribly mismanaged. Every time we stop in, there is some sort of problem. Last time we were there, they were out of a lot of their menu items. If I could give this place negative stars I would..... We have been sitting at the pay window for 16 minutes and have been here for a total of 26 minutes. There is NOTHING express about this place!!! Avoid it at all cost. Not to mention we just watched some kid named Keigan that worked there, spit in a cup, and "discretely" put something on his pocket looking to make sure no one saw him. I love Panda Express and have eaten at multiple locations across the United States. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at one. The employees were so rude to each other. They were yelling insults at each other, taking food as one employee was trying to dish it up for customers in line to give to people in the drive thru leaving the dish empty and nothing for those in line inside the store. They were so busy being insulted by each other they totally ignored me when I asked if they had any crab rangoons. So I didn't get any. The noodles don't taste the same here, my husband got Kung pao chicken and he said it didn't taste like it was cooked all the way. If this had been my first time at a panda I would never go back. I give this store in particular a negative 5 stars and the franchise a negative 4. This is the worst store and as a result of repeated bad experiences, I will never go to another Panda Express ever again. I have waited 45+ minutes in both the drive thru and inside the restaurant on multiple occasions. I have also tried to go inside and have been met with a locked door (customers were inside) and a sign that says drive thru only, sorry for the inconvenience. This store in particular is a mess. There is never any food ready and the process breaks down as soon as they try to put people in a queue to wait for paid orders. The shift manager on duty was taking a break at Whataburger next door so after I hit the 45 minute wait threshold, I requested a refund so they had to go get her to perform the refund. I asked her if I could speak to the owner and she said he lives in China and he owns all of them. It would be impossible to talk to him, so I asked to speak to a manager, to which she replied, no, that she can not give out personal phone numbers. I said, I don't want their personal phone number, I'd be fine with a company e mail address or store number and hours for their availability. She said I could look up the store number on the internet and call tomorrow. I felt sorry for everyone who worked there except for the shift manager who was argumentative, combative and has a terrible attitude. The regular employees did their best but were obviously failed by their managers and where training, process and procedures may exist for the problems they faced, having their manager sitting on a break across the street during the busiest time of the night says it all. I watched at least 20 customers turn away in the hour I wasted there tonight. read more

I was not paid for this review. The location of this Panda Express always seems to come up short and it doesn't matter what time of the day it is. They are always out of 2/3 entrees or just started cooking it or about to cook it and a wait time for something such as rice or chow mein. We dine in and the same thing happens. Every time, never fails, the workers always feel so proud suggesting a wait time or that they're out of something. Because 8 times out of 10 someone's leaving the line or substituted the item that that's not available for something that is available and they never get around to cooking what we want. When requesting items it seems like it's an in convienece and a hassle to accommodate to their customers. On top the disappointment I open my food, the servings are half full because it was near closing time and I guess they're trying to stretch the food out to last. Instead of going to their handy dandy, plan b and suggest the wait time for an item to be made. Now I have to decide who eats first out of my family of three, drive thru gave us 2 forks for three entrees. I would have to wait 5 minutes for another, just kidding but you get the gist of this place. If you must eat panda try the other New Braunfels location off walnut ! read more

Horrendous. Absolutely horrible. I went there to get the highly advertised family deal for $20. The young man told that promotion is no longer available. I asked three times because I had it open on the website in the phone. He finally said "that's an online promotion". Which I replied, y'all don't take online orders and he said "don't know what to tell you". I said you aren't going to honor this and he said "no, we can charge you regular price?" Thanks for not doing this like every other Panda Express, especially under the current state we are all in. Stayed in town at locale hotel, stopped by the Panda Express drive thru to take dinner back to the room! Ordered the broccoli and beef! Only got the Broccoli without the meat,It was terrible. I stay in town 12 times a year and will never stop and purchase here again! Oh yes looked in bag and asked the lady at the window about plastic ware, she said it's in the bag! Well it was not! Tried to order a bubble tea. I paid for a large and medium bubble tea. After paying they then asked me if I wanted tapioca in my tea and say yes that what I ordered. They told me it cost $ .50 extra. I said if I ordered bubble tea then I comes with tapioca. They told it does not. I explained to them that the bubble is tapioca. So who was in the wrong? The customer or the server? I told them that I would pay for the $.50 but I won't pay the tax as I had already paid for the drinks. This was to be fair. They told me that I was wrong. So I get a refund and left. Poor customer service if you ask me. They should know what they are serving. They don't even deserve one star and they should be trained better. read more

My son went through the drive thru and placed an order for three people. Once at the window he asked if he could have 2 cups of water. The very rude lady said that nothing could be ordered at the window and shut it. He tapped on the window explaining that it was just water and please give him a cup of water... again she rudely said you can't order here and closed the window again!!! Who does that? read more

I was there a week ago and wrote corporate that night, but have not heard back. Although the food was good once I finally got it and got home, the service was horrible - all the employees were standing around in the back talking (sounded more like they were having a little spat back there), while the lady who finally came to help me (no smile on her face or a hello can I help you) - just what do you want? So first I needed white rice - took 5 minutes for her to get the attention of the employees in the back, and then was finally able to start my order. She never once said anything else, egg roll, sauces - she slapped the food in the to-go container and handed me the sack. I thought I would hear back from Corporate, but as of today, not a word. Was very disappointed with my visit last night! I went into the store to place my order and was watching my server as she was preparing my order. When she went to scoop entree, she put less than a scoop of the entree on top of the bowl. I tried to make eye contact with her and she starting staring me down challengingly. I waited until she completed my order and asked the cashier to wait before he rang us up...I proceeded to open the bowl and pointed out to him that that was less than a scoop. He looked confused but went to put a little more in the bowl, I asked to speak with the manager who told me that they were only suppose to put one scoop of the entree in each bowl and that the food should not touch the lid that they place on top of the bowl (what????????). I told him she did not even put a full scoop. I paid for my order and noticed that the server that was helping me went back to some of her other orders and started filling up the bowls...This is not my first bad experience with BOTH locations in town. I'm just glad that we are starting to get so many Asian food choices in NB. By the way, I had customers walk up around me to commiserate with their own negative experience! We stop to eat here every so often if we are in the area. Never had any issues with the food or service and the place is usually pretty clean. The only bad thing is that they keep the AC cranked down so cold its like an icebox in there. Its hard to enjoy your food when you are shivering. I swear its probably 65 degrees or less in there. It feels nice on those days when its 100 degrees out but when its in the 80s and raining its unbearably cold in there. read more

I still can't believe this happened. I ordered the family deal through the Panda Express app. Went to pick it up and manager at location told me someone else picked it up. Asked if they had a delivery said and he said "no". He should take a look at his app. Needless to say I was surprised. I showed confirmation of order and had credit card I paid with. Manager just looked at me with a nothing to say. I was embarrassed and disappointed. Got back in car to update family. We looked at order again at the bottom it shows it was delivered through doordash. I selected pick-up so there was no delivery address. Called doordash driver, she said she left on the street in my subdivision. It wasn't there! That's a whole different story. Called store and sent in complaint and no response. I'm still in disbelief. They lost my business for life over $23. Very disappointing. I see why they have low ratings. Customer service is poor due to poor leadership and training. read more

Pretty much every time I come to this location I have problems that I haven't at other locations. The drive-thru line takes much longer than it should no matter the time of day. So, I recently did an online order to pick up inside to save time. I arrived on time (not early) and my food hadn't even been put together yet and I had to wait a while for them to box it up, which ended up not saving me any time vs. the drive thru. Plus even though I ordered specific soft drinks online, they just handed me the cups to fill myself instead of having it ready for me. Almost every time I've asked for soy sauce in the drive thru they say that they put it in the bag but then I get home and it's not in there. This past visit, I ordered a bowl of sweet fire chicken with white rice. The bowl was so full of rice that there were only 6 very small to small/medium pieces of chicken, and barley any of the veggies that go with it. The staff has always been kind so I give them props for that, but I've had too many sub-par experiences at this location read more

The service was quick and friendly, the food was fresh and tasted great, and they didn't forget my egg roll for the third time! Will definitely return to this locale now. There was no line when I got there, and all the serving trays were full of yummy choices, ... I was in and out in less than 5 minutes total!!! Everything was cooked to perfection , vegetables cooked but still crisp and full of bright color. So tasty that I didn't need soy sauce or teriyaki sauce! Friendly, fast, and delicious.... my favorite kind of fast food! And did I mention how my choices (Mixed Vegetables, Broccoli Beef, and Mushroom Chicken) provided a lot of nutrition for not very many calories??! read more

The tea bar is my all time favorite and love how friendly they are but on my second visit the lady who was serving me was very rude and just kept giving me ugly looks.
