Panda Express on SW Military is the worst! Rebecca is who I dealt with today. A few weeks ago only drive thru was open. Ordered beef and broccoli with double chow mein. When I got to my room, broccoli was limp and overcooked and I could not eat it. I called immediately and told my name would be written in a book, go anytime and order would be made right. I went indoors and doors were open. It was 11:15 am. I was told I couldn't come in because indoor would not open until 12 due to staff shortage...however drive thru was open. I asked for mgr and Rebecca said she was manager. The steam table was full with prepared food but they refused to serve me to go. I asked for corporate phn # and was given a number that is not in service!! Where do you hire your staff from? Rebecca was rude and unprofessional and walked away turning her back to me. This place has a jerk manager and act like they really don't need customers. I ask if the dining room is open and get the third degree by the manager and never got a straight answer just that I need a mask and he closed the door on me saying there closing . Taken that a Chinese restaurant would treat people like shit after a virus came from China really makes me hate this location. read more

Good food but terrible service. I came by yesterday (April 29 2016) and they were not taking credit cards. I went to ATM came back with cash and they ran out of orange chicken. I left with out food and no one was apologetic. Today I have been in line for 15 minutes, drive thru. If it were busy I could understand but it's not. I hope the wait is worth it. I went through the drive through and had to go around because my order was wrong (no big deal). Before I can explain the manager got defensive and giving me attitude like its my fault. I ordered Kung Pao chicken and my meal didnt have any chicken. Why would i argue about a $2.50 entree? I paid it and drove off. I would expect better better costumer service and better problem solving abilities from a manager but i guess not. Now i know why this South Park location has a poor rating, its because theres poor leadership. read more

If I could rate negative stars I would lol. I just moved back to the southside after occasionally dining at the new braunfels location, which isn't great but tops this one by a million. EVERYTIME I go here there are limited options over an hour before closing time . On the few occasions I have gone I've received the worst customer service. I waited in a line that was all the way out to the street. It was about an hour until closing time, I finally got to order. As I tried to order I was told there were out of chow mein and fried rice, along with a couple of entrees from their already limited menu. Everytime I ordered something the girl was rude and would say, "is that it?"I placed my order pulled up finally to the window to pay. I gave the girl my card to pay for my food and asked what time they closed because I was surprised they were out of food and still had a line out to the street. The girl completely ignored me gave me my food in a bag with what looked like soy sauce dripping down the entire side of my bag, I asked for napkins because the bag was dirty the girl did not give me any napkins and started to question me... she said where is it dirty? I had to turn the bag to show her, she proceeded to grab the bag and instead of cleaning it she shoved it into another bag gave it to me as I was grabbing the bag she then shoved my credit card and receipt into the bag. This is when I had to ask for the manager. I explained all that happened the manager and all the manager said was that she would have a talk with her. The extremely rude worker was named Abigail. I waited 10 min 15 min for chow mein. I didn't get my teriyaki chicken. Orange chicken tasted old. I called the store twice and no answer. I went back and the manager said because some of the chow mein was eaten he couldn't issue refund. 100% of orange chicken was there and 90% chow mein was there 0% teriyaki there. Ruined my night and families. Worst experience ever. Oh and to make it worse the manger Luis Perez never once apologized for the inconvenience. Stated they were busy. I get it I've worked at a restaurant before but one you apologize and fix the issue. When he stated all hee could do was a store credit I stated ok and I'll still call to put in my complaint he took the receipt back And said no this is your resolution. One I'm not satisfied with the resolution because I wanted my money back. 2 worst experience ever so I don't want to go back! 3 not once did I get an apology. 2nd time at this location and very disappointed with service. First time they told me it was 15 minute wait for teriyaki chicken, I could understand that but food was handed to me 28 minutes later. Today January 17, 2020 I come through drive thru again and it's a 15 minute wait for sweet and fire. I'm always at Panda Express but other locations near my home. In the last 2 weeks at this location I don't understand how management is not prepared for orders. It's 2pm and there is not a rush here. Bandera/1604 is always busy and the wait has never been this long. May you please provide more training to this location. Food is not authentic and employees are not very knowledgeableof what the are selling. I would not recommend this place to anyone

My son and I stopped in on a Friday afternoon during some errands. Everything in the area looked dirty and tired. We walked into the panda express location and were pleasantly surprised to find the service was friendly the food fresh in the store overall extremely clean. It turned out to be a true oasis in the middle of a not so great neighborhood. read more

I normally don't bother rating and reviewing chains unless they are super bad or super good. This is by far my most favorite Panda Express in the city. Food is always good. They've never been out of anything whenever I go and give super good portions. The staff is also excellent. read more

Stay away from here. I took my son just now . He ordered white steam rice and we were told it would be 4-5 minutes, than the girl came and told us it would take 45 minutes. They've only been open for 45 mins. Certainly a poor MANAGER...... read more

Visited here to see if anything has changed about the service but was disappointed when we tried to order Inside and had to wait in line for a good 20 minutes before we even got to order. They only had one person making food for drive thru and one for inside. Management obviously doesn't care enough to staff enough people to survive a small rush on a FRIDAY NIGHT? This is by far the worst Panda Express I've been to! The service is slow and unorganized. They always have a long line at the drive thru. I've visited this location twice and both times were terrible. Today when I came my food tasted old and dry. They did replace my food for me with no hassle so that was a plus. When I got my new food I could taste the difference so I did leave content. read more

On some of the items like the 5 flavor shrimp the employee could not tell me if there was honey in it. I am allergic to honey and I would have liked to see that the employee or the cook would know what items are in the food since a lot of people have allergies. A sheet or something that can be given to the customer or something the employee or cook can have a glance at with the ingredients would be very helpful to anyone not just myself. Other than that the employees are very polite and listened to every customer as if they were they only ones that were in the restaurant. Saying please and thank you was a double thumbs up for me. The diner closed half an hour early. They locked the doors as we were trying to go in. That's not cool.

I made sure to secure my food to assure that it did not spill. The food was all mixed up and messy and all over the bag. I asked for the Angus with asparagus and I got green beans and they were hard. My Husband got beef and broccoli and there was literally 10 broccoli's and 3 pieces of beef. I called the store about 10 times the same day and next day. I had to call the main customer service number and the lady even called the store and no one answered. She stated that she would notate this and send a gift card. I hardly ever visit panda express and I am not sure if I ever will again after I use my gift card. I wish there was more of a variety of authentic Chinese in my area. read more

I hadn't had Panda Express since college, and recently moved to the area. There's a Panda express on the way home from work, so I drove thru. I will definitely be returning as Shawn, the drive thru operator, truly exceeded my expectations for most food joints. He was friendly, exuberant, and clearly enjoyed being at work. This is the kind man you want training your employees! He offered sauces at the window, I asked for "a little bit of everything" thinking he would just give me soysauce or something, but I got to try a bunch of condiments I didn't even know existed! I never tried hot mustard, or the chili sauce...now I must say I'm hooked. He even took the time to fill a few plastic cups of red sauce for me. None of the food is hot! Its warm at best. Ordered the fried shrimp. Each one was burnt. Then the clown named (edward) MGR? He stated that those were the last shrimp in the restaurant for the night. And THEN seemed shocked when we wanted a refund. Never will we go back!!!! I wouldn't have served that food to a dog. Corporate NEEDS to review their hiring practices.
