I'm DONE with Panda Express. Over the years I've eaten there probabaly 2 or 3 times per year as their food is always mediocre. Since the Pandemic however, their service has really gone down with the quality of people they are hiring. Yes, I know it's hard to find and keep good people but with that pressure on Management.. maybe they are afraid to train them properly. My last two trips to this Panda Express has been more than frustrating with the methods and attitudes of their servers. Last night I was tired, hungry and didn't want to go home and cook. I live just a couple of miles from this Panda Express so I decided to stop in and get some items to take home. I ordered their new Sizzling Shrimp, Black Pepper Angus Steak, Kung Pao Chicken, Orange Chicken and Beef With Broccli. The young gal who served me acted bossy like she was a Manager and her passive/aggressive attitude was completely overbearing. She kept pushing me to order the Chow Mein and the Fried Rice. I told her very nicely, "I don't want those items because of the Carb's. Please put the extra items into those little Red Boxes." She pressed me again to take the Chow Mein and Fried Rice and I told her again I didn't want them and that I would gladly pay the "extra amount" for the items I ordered. She grabbed a Styrofoam Box and told me to go to the Cashier and she walked over to him while writing everything down on the box. I was the only customer in line at that time so there was NOT a bunch of customers in line at 8:22 p.m. A couple of minutes later she handed the box to the cashier who immediately bagged it and mumbled something. I told him very nicely: "I'm sorry, I don't know what you said." He mumbled something again and I said: "Where are the Red Boxes with the extra Entree's?" He asked me if I wanted to look inside and I opened the bag and saw only the Styrofoam box. I opened it halfway and tried to look but the plastic bag was in the way. I could see stuff piled on top of each other. I said: "I hope this isn't garbage!" He just laughed and asked me if I wanted anything else. "No," I pleasantly responded and as tired as I was, I just wanted to go home. He charged me $26.08. I live only a couple of miles from Panda Express and when I got home, the food was still warm (it's never HOT), but it looked like GARBAGE! Kung Pao Chicken is very spicy. It was mixed with the Beef With Broccli and the Steak while the Orange Chicken was also mixed with the Sizzling Shrimp and Pepper Steak with Kung Pao also mixed in. Just a darn mess which looked like some kind of weird Goulash! When the wife saw the mess she was so angery she wanted me to throw it out. I took a large plate from the cabinet and tried to sort things out but the taste of each item was truly ruined. What also irks me is I just turned 76. Yep, I'm OLD! But when I was young I worked at an A&W Root Beer and later a Dairy Queen and even a Bob's Big Boy to put myself through the University. I was also a Pilot in the Vietnam era and later earned a degree in Computer Science. I'm one of the guys who helped start this computer/tech revolution! But the Bossy server treated me like I was some kind of old dufus. It shows her upbringing by her parents and peers was highly inadequate and so is her training by the Management of Panda Express! I may be old but that computer between my ears is still firing on all cylinders! And it shows she has absolutely no respect for Seniors. In conclusion, I went to the Panda Express website and complained but they have a form and they were more worried about what I thought about their new Sizzling Shrimp entree than anything else. Oh, that and if I were "Non Binary," whatever that means! I'm a REAL MAN.. an ORIGINAL TEXAN and I don't NEED Panda Express which is NOT real Chinese food anyway. It's Americanized fast food to look like Chinese. I've been all over China. Taiwan, Tapei, Macao, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, etc. I know what real Chinese food tastes like! I'm DONE with Panda Express and their EXPRESSion of disdain for their customers! read more

Thanks for being on top of the chicken teriyaki - it's my son's favorite and it's nice having it ready instead of having to wait! I've been back a few times since my last review when it was never ready! Good to know these reviews are being seen and heard!! And on that note, AVA is the freaking bomb!! Okay how do you review a fast food chain? Well unless you were raised in a house that cooked real Chinese (and maybe even if you did) we all know we get that craving for a quick Americanized overly sodiumized (Yes, I made up that word according to spell check) Chinese. As far as this location goes it seems to others reviews its a hit or miss but I'll say I'm a fan because I've never had a bad experience. The place was clean and sort of busy. The servers don't really listen, which is understandable based on their foot traffic. The cashier smiled after my order which I always like, it make me feel happy. I ordered the walnut shrimp for an additional buck....for a another....I thought it was going to be a pleasant helping. I had four pieces, I guess I should've financed it. The traditional orange chicken was ok, a bit burnt along with the chow-mein. A bit blacked with a lot of extra cabbage. I was not that impressed with the food or helpings. I'd go back though, because I enjoyed the chicken and would hope to get more shrimp next time. Honestly love panda most days. But today two hours before closing on 11/27/2022, I was not pleased with my service. I believe it was the manager who was helping me with my order, she was wearing a black shirt when the rest of the crew was wearing red. I asked for white rice with my entree and she Told me there was no more white rice and I asked if there was any way I could wait for more She said no without hesitation. She didn't ask the cook or check the rice cooker. I get to the checkout area. The cashier was extremely nice, he was asking if I needed anything else, I asked if he knew if they were making more rice because they closed in two hours. He said he could ask the cook. The cook said there was rice in the cooker. He offered me a side of rice. I ended up paying $5 extra for a side of rice instead of with my entree because the manager didn't bother to check to see if there was rice or have someone prepare more before the store closed in two hours. (He was already grabbing the rice so I didn't want to say no after he politely checked for me). The cashier and cook were great! As someone who works in the food service industry in two different restaurants, the manager needs to learn customer service. read more

I usually go to a different store but since I was closer to this one, I thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did. The customer set was great! The food was great! They made sure the quality of the food was at its best. You were greeted with a big smile and lots of energy. The servers seemed like they enjoyed working there. One employee stood out. Ashlyn was her name... she should have bigger letters on her name tag so all customers know who she is. She made sure everything was going smoothly from the beginning to the end of your visit. I placed an order and got to the restaurant on time. The employees proceeded to tell me that the teriyaki chicken wouldn't be ready for 10 minutes. It took 20. Ok let ok its Panda Express. When I want real Chinese food I go elsewhere but this time my daughter and I needed a quick bite to eat. The food is consistent and almost always fresh due to the amount of people coming thru. My one complaint.....and my biggest pet peeve is their "premium" up-charge they slap on certain items. Now I can understand that some cuts of meat do cost more BUT for the amount they give you it's a big fat money grab if you ask me. I've come here before. Several times actually. On this occasion, I tried to get the Family Feast, which includes 3 large entrees and 2 large sides for about $30. One of the entrees was Kung Pao Chicken, which they had to make since the pan was running low. I waited. And waited. They offered me a free small drink and an appetizer (Chicken Egg Roll) and comp'd the small entree I had ordered on top of the Feast. I turned out to be a great deal as far as Panda goes. We had leftovers for a couple of days and sure I had to wait a few more minutes, but they were courteous and apologetic about it which is the only important thing. read more

Getting in and out of the parking lot Is a different story, as it is somewhat of a pain in the ass depending on where you are heading when you leave. People say you can't eat healthy here, but I object to that. All veggies, teriyaki chicken and chicken w/ string beans anyone? Worst experience at any Panda Express ever. First they were out of the classic orange chicken, grilled teriyaki chicken, and steamed vegetables for over 10 minutes they said. So I order sweetfire chicken breast and they said I have to wait because they also don't have that. Okay.... so my friend leaves cause they don't have his usual orange chicken, teriyaki chicken or steamed veggies. I thought why not give them a chance. I ask for half noodles, half fried rice and then sweetfire chicken and Beijing beef. I get it to go and finally get home and wow... they forgot the noodles!!!
