Panda Express will always hold a special place in my stomach. I remember going to Panda Express at mall food courts and it was the first place I ever had American Chinese food. I ordered takeout with noodles, chicken teriyaki and the famous orange chicken. Also ordered a side of rangoons. The noodles were nice, chewy and not over cooked. It had a mild flavor which I like since the entrees have plenty of flavor. The chicken teriyaki was flavorful and juicy. I like that they use dark meat for the teriyaki because it doesn't dry out as easily. The orange chicken is almost a must order when you go to Panda Express. The chicken to breading ratio isn't the best but it's what Panda is known for. It was still slightly crispy even after being doused in sauce and it had a sweet and tangy flavor that goes perfect with some rice or noodles. The rangoons were decent. They were still crispy when I got home but I thought they were lacking in flavor and could probably use a little more filling. Overall, I think Panda is a good place to go if you're looking for a quick and hearty dinner. You have plenty of choices and they have healthier options if that's what you're looking for. Nowadays with food costs going up, I still feel that Panda is a decent deal for the amount of food and quality that you get. read more

I went there today 2/2/26. There were several people in line about 1 PM. For my order I felt like the staff rushed through without giving the appropriate portions. There was a delay at the counter because the person ahead of me returned because their large order was incorrect. After paying I realized I was charged for a bigger plate and not a regular. I could not make the cashier understand the problem, the line to pay was backed up, so I just left! There was so much confusion in the ordering process for all the UberEats and called in advance. TL;DR - If you want to receive all the food you pay for (+ better food to boot), go to the Woodbridge location instead. If you must go to this location, do check that your order is complete before leaving with your takeout. We used to live near this Panda and went there whenever we didn't feel like driving farther to "the good Panda"; the Woodbridge location. We preferred the Woodbridge location both for the higher food quality, and consistency in sending us away with 100% of the food we ordered. This Panda location has sent us away with incomplete orders 6-7x in the last couple of years, and the food is just less delicious than we're used to at Panda (under-cooked/under-seasoned super greens, under-cooked rangoons, etc). We don't live near a Panda location anymore. I hadn't had Panda in over a year, and I was craving orange chicken - so we made the now 16-mile round trip drive to this location. Since moving away, we forgot that this Panda cannot be trusted to give you all your food, so we drove home without checking our order. When we got home, there was no orange chicken; just an empty crater in the takeout container where it should've been. So disappointing since the orange chicken was the only reason I even considered driving that far for fast food. We never reported any of the prior incomplete orders, as we lived close enough to ask the restaurant to fix it. But since we now live too far for that, I did report feedback to Panda corporate, specifically requesting a partial refund, just enough to cover the missing entree, nothing crazy. Apparently it doesn't matter how bad your experience was - all you're going to get from Panda corporate is an automated "thanks for your feedback, here's a free entree!" As if I'm going to drive another 16 miles for mediocre food from an establishment that is essentially stealing money from customers (yes, a years-long pattern of not giving customers food they paid for is stealing). For the restaurant manager: I recommend you require your cashier to check orders before bagging them, rather than repeatedly sending customers away from your store with incomplete orders. This is a pattern that could easily be helped with a simple quality check measure. read more

We ordered online the family size and got two beef with Broccoli Beef, one chicken Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, one Side Fried Rice, and one Side Chow Mein. We also got another large broccoli beef and fried rice. When my husband was waiting for the food, the owner or manager came out from the back and started to scream at the employees right in front of everyone. He was screaming at them to watch what they were doing. They are giving too much food away. So, the employees got nervous and barely filled our containers. The employees didn't then fill the three broccoli beef containers. I was able to put the third container in the other two and make it whole, not overflowing. This left me with an empty container that cost me over $11. Ridiculous On top of them not filling the three containers, they filled half the box with just broccoli and barely any beef. I DO NOT recommend ordering their food ahead because you will get less than you ordered. read more

Ok, I'll start by saying the service was cool, quick and it's a pretty clean set up. They even have an open kitchen for you to see into, if you're into that, I personally am not but that's just me. Ok, as I've always known, the food at Panda Express always looks better than it tastes. So it was very aesthetically pleasing to the eye for sure but bland beyond belief. The rice was begging for flavor. Some of the veggies in my stir fry were burnt and the beef needed salt. I will say the walnut shrimp were good though. They have a nice sweet glaze but aren't mushy. The chicken teriyaki wasn't that bad either, and it was pretty moist too. It wasn't the worst teriyaki chicken but then again idk if I've actually had bad teriyaki chicken. This just needed more flavor, it felt like a LITE watered down version of teriyaki if I had to describe it. I haven't been to Panda Express in over 5 years and this was a reminder as to why. Highly doubt I'll return. Again the service was smooth and the establishment was clean but the food just didn't tickle my fancy. If you're into mall chinese food then this may be up your alley. For the price I spent, almost $17 for an entree and a drink I was left extremely unfulfilled and sadly let down. So after some months and someone from Panda Express reached out to me, I decided to give this location another try. I decided to skip the mixed veggies because of the bad experience of undercooked vegetables. I had the fried rice with chicken and string beans and orange chicken. The meal was pretty decent. The orange chicken was on point. The chicken and string bean was cooked well and just right. Rice wasn't dry. The service was good today. Although there was a line for dinner, the line moved quickly and before I know it, my family and I are eating. I'm glad I gave this location another try. Absolutely disappointing even for fast food... (Quick summary at bottom) I've been to this location a few times in the past and the food was pretty good, the meat had crispy breading and the vegetables mixed in tasted fresh and was cooked good. This time it's much different. When I walked in there was a long line, which was weird as there's so many employees. Getting closer, the line didn't surprise me anymore as the workers looked confused and lost. Most of the workers were nice though, except the man wearing black. That's just the service alone. The food looked soggy and there was very little food available. There was a dish finished just sitting on the counter for a while until it was switched out with the old one. The prices keep going up but the service, portions and food quality are going down. It came out to be around $12 not including a drink. I was going to sit inside but the dining room was filthy, the tables were dirty and the floors were sticky. The worst part was seeing a COCKROACH run up the wall, but at that point I just needed to leave. I thought just getting out of there and going home would bring me peace but that's wasn't all. I took the food home and one of the entrees were wrong. I didn't know that it was wrong at the store because they had so many boxes pulled up I didn't know which was mine. I had ate some of the fried rice, which was bland. The chow mien was decent but oily. I ordered orange chicken which was soggy and the sauce didn't even stick on the chicken. The egg roll was bland and soggy. I ordered broccoli beef but instead received what I believe is Kung Pao chicken which was mainly zucchini and peppers and barely any chicken. Then when I mixed it I noticed something else wrong with it... A hair in my food. Such a waste of food and time. I just hope people don't get sick after eating this garbage. I love panda express but you really have to make it there when the food is fresh. Sometimes you will get a batch of food that been sitting out for some time and you can truly feel the taste difference. The service can sometime be a hit or miss. A lot of times I go it seems like they are always training new people causing lines to go out the door with how slow it gets. I rarely come to Panda Express to eat Chinese food, I'd rather stop by somewhere authentic nearby but when I'm in the area I always consider stopping by. Just recently tried the Spicy Beijing Beef with fried rice bowl all for 9.50 with a sparkling grapefruit soda. The beef isn't spicy at all, delicious at the first couple bites but after that it gets pretty mild. The fried rice is just your standard vegetable fried rice, nothing really special. Love the tangy orange taste that burns the nostrils ;) My girl's favorite orange chicken is in this location on the top floor of the mall.
