Panda Express is one of my guilty pleasure food and I decided to get some at the rest stop we were at. I love their orange chicken! It's salty, sweet, and a little spicy. I ordered online and picked my order up through the drive-thru. It would've just made it easier if I just ordered from the drive-thru so keep that in mind. I ordered a bowl which includes one entree and one side. I'm not sure if this was ever an option but you can get two halves of an entree which includes white rice, brown rice, lo mein, or greens. I opted for the greens (kale, broccoli, and cabbage). I also had to get their orange chicken. The quality of the food was typical for Panda Express. It was good but not groundbreaking.

Average chinese food, cheap with the app and the service was friendly. We did carry out and had no issues!

Waited extra time for "fresh" green vegetables and got rotten kale...food otherwise was ok. But bummed - just leave it out if it doesn't look fresh or if the person cooking it wouldn't eat it ‍

Ordered through uber eats and had no issues with the delivery but the food was AWFUL...the super greens was rotten..broccoli was yellow!! I did not eat it. If i had a car i would have taken it back to the store. However i did call and they were apologetic and was going to check the rest of the broccoli.

The place is like a piece of S***. There is no Uber driver around so I have to pick up my Uber order. When I get there, they closed the door and say "only the drive through". I told them I don't have a car and the only thing I need to do is pick my order which is already prepared. So now I need to walk behind a lot cars in the drive through lane and pick the shit. :)

On a Monday afternoon, the orange chicken and fried rice tasted very good. The place was very clean.

No one around to take order, so we used those big iPad looking things. It would not add the special offer. We wound up paying full price, but not before 2 obnoxious people arrived in line behind us. We only took about 45 seconds to order, but that was to long, those behind us started to complain, at which point an employee magically appeared. Not to help US, but to say to the other guests basically, "go around these slow people, and I will take your order in person". The chili used to be good. Sure, it's made of cut up expired burgers, but when the price recently increased, they added a new ingredient: extra WATER! This stuff was like SOUP! You could drink this (expensive) chili with a straw. Waterin it down makes it go farther. No flavor, a cup of tomato water, a few beans, and expired hamburgers cut up. For what they are charging even for a basic $2 hamburger, (more like $7), I don't really have a reason to return. Maybe the fries & frostys, but now I even suspect those.

State College Five Guys (FG) is tucked away in a little shopping area on College Ave. At one time…read moreit was a Wendy's but those days are long gone. Parking is on the street, in the nearby garage or in the few spaces around the adjacent businesses. The interior is like most FG's, simple, red & white with bags of potatoes and fresh peanuts. I've always been a fan of FG's but with a lot more "fresh" fast options opened, it's dropped off my radar in recent years. For the uninitiated FG's is unique in that the burger is a fresh, never frozen 100% USDA beef, ground in-store daily. They are hand patties so they come out fresh and juicy wrapped in tinfoil. FG offers other fresh ingredients and the standouts are the fresh-cut fries and tasty buns =)! They also offer a bottomless supply of unshelled peanuts for free. On this day, I stopped in for lunch and ordered a "little" cheeseburger with fries and a drink. You can order the "little" which means 1 patty and saves you a few dollars. Personally, I'm not a fan of the 2-patty burgers. As you'll realize this place can be messy and the 2-patty sandwich complicates things a bit. Beyond that they give you numerous ways to customize your order but I typically go "all the way" -- sans mushrooms. Today's visit was outstanding. The burger and fries were fresh and tasty. I'm usually not a fan of the tinfoil (over waxpaper) but FG likes to lock in the heat. Sometimes the sandwich comes out smashed down. This would be a 5-star establishment all day but due to costs (around $18 for one person) and past inconsistency, I've knocked them down a notch. That said, State College has performed well the last few visits!
