If you are kind and patient with the staff they always give you that same respect back and they always have some great options to choose from. One of my favorite places in town because of affordability, the amount of food the dish up and the kindness the staff always show me. Great place to either sit down and eat or enjoy take out.

The restaurant is a small building with numerous tables for in service dining. They also seem to do a lot of takeout business. The service was attentive, refilled our drinks and the fried chips numerous times. They provide the fried chips with duck sauce to start for every table (something that seems to be missing from most places these days). The egg rolls appeared to come fresh out of the oven and they were some of the best I've had. I got General Tso's chicken and my wife got Garlic Chicken. Tonight she had a starter Caesar salad with house made dressing and the shrimp on a stick entree. She wanted to lick the plate, but restrained herself. I also had a side salad with house made blue cheese dressing and the Friday special of prime rib with a side of "small fries". I foolishly thought that meant small in amount. Not so much. They sent out a basket of homemade fries that took some serious effort to finish. Prime rib was great. The staff was friendly, attentive and accomodating, without being intrusive. All in all this was an A+++ experience. Just a great way to spend a Friday evening. We will be back.

That never happened. I generally like Qdoba and I thought the food was good in the past, but I didn't even get a chance to get any food this time. I sat there for probably twice as long as I should have just wondering what was happening. I don't want to bash anyone but I think he was having a breakdown or is just not all there. With so many restaurants on Atherton I decided to walk away and go get something else. Unfortunately I'd avoid this place until they figure out service. I'd even accept a quick "hang on for just one minute please" while waiting, I had nothing else planned tonight. At least some acknowledgment of a customer would be good, or so one would think.
