I have not had Panda Express in a while and this week I have gone 2 days in a row to help fight the cravings. My usual go to is the Mushroom Chicken, Chow Mein, Orange Chicken and sometimes Fried Rice. To be quite honest the Mushroom Chicken is best when they freshly make it. This to me is better than some of the mom and pops chinese places because you know what you are getting is beef or chicken LOL. Also the kitchen is open so you can see the cooking process. I also like the fortune cookies here - they are never stale. Eating at Panda Express gives me fond memories of eating it with my mother back when we lived in hawaii and she introduced this to us at Ala Moana food court. It gives me a tear to my eye just reminiscing that . So yes Panda Express hits a soft spot at times not just with my belly but also with my heart. read more

Panda Express in Winter Haven, Florida was a really disappointing experience for us. Every single time we ate here, we ended up getting sick afterward. After looking into it and talking with others, we were informed it was most likely due to cross contamination. That alone makes this a place we will not return to. My hubby and I went to Panda Express last night.  I ordered a bowl that had the Super Greens plus beef and broccoli.  When I took a bite, the food was just lukewarm.  I took it back to the register and asked that they put in in the microwave for 30 seconds.  The gentlemen said, "I don't know if we do that."  I assured him it was fine with me and declined his offer for another bowl, because it would still have been the same lukewarm temperature.  I was handed a new bowl anyway and when I got back to my seat, I saw that there was no beef and broccoli in it; it was just the Super Greens.  Back up to the register once again and I asked for the rest of my dinner. He looked confused and got a very tiny container and put some more lukewarm beef and broccoli in it.  I gave up and we left.  Who wants lukewarm food?  The food should be piping hot and had he just microwaved the bowl, I wouldn't be complaining. read more

Food in drive thru did not come for 20 minutes so we went in to check on it. It was sitting on the counter because "they forgot to bring it out." So we got cold food... Also if your employees are so sick they need to wear a mask they should stay home for sanitary reasons. Edit to add: Just got home and the order wasn't even right. It deserves the 2.5 stars that's their average on here. Portions are terrible where you're still paying 1.25 on the premium yet they only give you less than a scoop of what they use on their servings. The styrofoam plates literally have indentations on there to make it look like it has more since it's "overflowing ". Whoever is borrowing the famous karate guys name, you got more servings on your plate during your brake than the servings you give to your customers. First off - I ordered a bowl with noodles and orange chicken. I checked my bag and was given noodles and teriyaki...... the girl looked at me like I was suppose to leave with that. I stated I ordered orange chicken and noodles. She took it back to redo my order.. i get my order and asked her if they just took out the chicken and she said yes because there was no noodles left.... wth kinda place doesn't have noodles at 3 pm. My family wanted to order a family meal from Panda Express tonight. We were going to order through Door Dash. We had some questions about the order and we called and spoke to Rose (I may have the wrong spelling, her name was very unique). Rose was very nice and answered all of our questions. I told her that I was going to order through Door Dash. When we received our order, not only was it perfect, but she wrote a little note to ensure we were happy with our order. This was so sweet! This type of service goes unnoticed these days and I wanted to leave a review and let her and her managers know that she is a great team member and that we appreciate this small act of kindness so much! This panda is the worst I have ever been to I have lived in winter haven for over a year now so I've been to this panda many times and about 90% of the time the workers here have disappointed me. The amount of effort put in the poor portion of food they give you for the price of a plate is insane. You ask for the angus steak they give you nothing but vegetables, you ask for both rose and noodles you will most likely get less of both or less of one of the other. The employees have nasty attitudes at the window and in the restaurant like if it's our fault they work there it's just a experience every time I go I don't normally put reviews out but I HAVE to for this panda at this location. read more

When we got in there and made a selection, we had to pay extra for meat that should have gone with it! For instance rice, pay extra for the meat in the main entree. Ok to charge extra for sides, or salads but rice? No thanks! read more

Ordered through the app food was said to be ready at 12:40 so I arrived a few minutes early and it wasn't ready that's fine. 12:50 rolls around still no sign of my food being ready 1:10 rolls around still nothing. The line was moving, door dash orders were going, Uber eats orders as well as the drive thru line. Asked the cashier how much longer she said one minute, waited and nothing it is not 1:20 I stopped the manger and told him I've been waiting for over 35 minutes and my food isn't ready. They finally started my food they hadn't even started it the entire time I was there waiting. They had new people starting which I understand but have one on drinks one on entrees one on sides and one cashier that way there is at least some type of system everyone kept starting an offer someone else ended up finishing it up and by the end it was all wrong. I had to double check to make sure my food was remotely correct it seemed like I just got the leftover vegetables for them pans but at that point I got what I got I had to go. I really want to give this 5 stars but I cannot look past a couple of shortcomings. All the entrees I've ordered over the past few visits were fresh and delicious. There is a repeating problem though with the dryness of the lo mein noodles and the overcooked egg rolls. Every visit I've seen both items dry or overcooked. I would love to have a fresh egg roll from this location but it may not happen. I'll stick come back from time to time because I like Panda Express entrees. read more

Lunch on a Sunday. This is a relatively new store in Winter Haven and our first time here. I had a bowl of the Sweetfire Chicken Breast. It was very tasty and filling. My wife had the Mushroom Chicken bowl. She said it was okay. The rice was good but not great. She also had the Chicken Pot Stickers which were also okay. The service fast and friendly, did have to wait about five minutes for the pot stickers. I would definitely come back. read more

I walked in yesterday, and before I was 3 steps inside, I heard a female voice barking, "You need to have a mask ooonnnn!" I get up to the line, I'm the only customer in there and pulled my shirt up over my nose and mouth. There are no mandatory mask orders in my part of Florida. A very antagonistic woman, claiming to be the manager, yelled again "Put a mask on or go through the drive through!" She refused to serve me or give me her name. It was obvious she didn't want my business. Okay if the individual manager wants a mask, but my face was covered. If she's that nasty to a loyal customer, I cringe to ponder what it's like to work under her. Does setting that kind of tone really get the best out of her people? Me thinks not. read more

Pure garbage. I have never been treated so rude in my entire life. Upon finding something in my food, I addressed the issue with the African-American cashier who was BEYOND disrespectful. I eventually asked for a manager who was a young Caucasian woman. She was (and I don't even know how this was possible) more repugnant than the cashier. No apologies, no refunds, nothing. This was my first Panda Express experience, but as fast food goes...it's good! Being new, the restaurant itself is still shiny and the tables and condiment areas are kept very clean. My first time in, there was a lot of confusion as to which way the line moved. (I know, I know, from left to right as you enter, but there was a herd of older ladies milling up and down the food counter/order line. It caused about 10 minutes of inside-out/reverse operations for the service crew!) Once we got into line...boom. Easy. I recommend the 1 plate which allows you a side and 2 entrees . The portions are generous. I chose the chow mein as my side , orange chicken and the string bean chicken breast. The orange chicken is REALLY good as is the chow mein. The string bean chicken tasted ...blah. Not to my liking at all. The servers are actually pleasant, attentive and move you along quickly to the checkout. (and I appreciate nice service) On a second trip (I found out I really like Panda) the chow mein was not as good as the first time . It was still tasty, just drier and something was different So, maybe a little consistency issue there. The second time also included orange chicken and the sweetfire chicken breast. They were both very good. Verdict? For under $10 you can eat a LOT and get in and out fairly quickly. The food is good, the place is clean and the service is good. read more

I want to give one star but the cashier was so polite that's hard to do I had to pay an extra dollar 25 for the steak which I do not mind doing but usually I get three scoops I got one and like a quarter scoop because they were out and he told me it would come back up in 10 minutes they were also out of green beans which is usually when I come here I'm not going to complain like that but they keep charging me 125 extra and I only get a scoop and a quarter that's ridiculous one star to the place to start because the cashier was awesome she gets five stars read more

We wouldn't eat here again. The lo mein noodles were so dry and fake tasting, I didn't know there was a way to make them actually taste bad and the egg roll was over cooked. The food is good but.....all the tables were dirty, both trash cans were overflowing with garbage, the beverage and utensil area was dirty while three employees were standing alongside the cashier laughing and joking around while we cleaned our own table off to have a place to eat when they could've been cleaning!
