We were so annoyed tonight, we walked out without ordering. We both wanted to try the Shanghai angus beef. The container was empty, so we asked how long the wait would be. The nice young woman asked the person cooking. We couldn't tell if he was annoyed at her for asking or annoyed at us for wanting to try something that he would have to cook. Decided to take a chance bcs my fiance wanted Chinese.. Long drive back from OC we stopped. The food was gross but we were so hungry. Dry chow mein, soggy zuchinni, hard as a rock cream cheese won tons, the sweet and sour sauce was so thick like molasses..... Let's see ... $20 for us 2 and threw half away. Then we stop to use the rest room before our two hour drive to Redding....... And a cockroach in the bathroom stall!!!! Omg. If I could give zero stars I would. Don't be scared of the low ratings! I was wary about going to this location of Panda Express based on the Yelp reviews, but realized most of the people giving it low ratings were drive-thru customers. Sorry, I have to see my Panda Express food before I order! We needed a quick lunch after refueling our car at Costco, so we decided to take a chance, and glad we did! The workers all seemed very happy, appreciated the sample of Beijing beef, which turned out to be a new favorite. She also went to the back to get my brown rice, and the servings were typical Panda Express- sized. Food was great, shared a three item combo with my husband and it was plenty of food for less than $10! very clean, including the bathrooms. I will not hesitate to return! read more

I used to come here all the time. But slowly the service has been poor. They always send me off with no fortune cookies, no time of the day to let me even ask for any sauces, and or MULTIPLE times I have ordered the entree plate and they leave out one of the entrees! They open at 10am and Every thing is not ready. You should have show time ready and . I called ahead of time if they have food ready and he said be ready by 5-10 minutes. I came after 10 minutes and the one I want it's not ready and they want me to wait another 6 minutes. You guys need to SHOW TIME READY AND SAYS OPEN AT 10AM. I drove through today and purchased a 1 entree bowl (chow mein on bottom, sweet and sour pork on top). If you've been to any Panda Express, you can expect the same quality and menu. I love that there is another drive through option in Woodland, just hope local restaurants continue to stay in biz with another chain establishment added to the outskirts of town. read more

Aside from the extra long wait In the drive through, things were as expected. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the staff were nice and the food was good for fast food. We don't do " fast food" often so I'm glad I took a chance and drove through beats feeding the kids Mc Death lol. And to boot the kids ate and enjoyed there orange chicken meal!! I live in the bay area and work in Woodland. I've been to Panda locations between here and there and this is by far the worst one. The drive-thru lines are short but extremely slow. Today I sat in line for 20 minutes and they weren't even busy! The person taking orders doesn't greet you just kind of expects you to shout out your order. Then there's the food. The portions here are the skimptiest I've seen, they fill the plates half-way. I also got Bejing Beef and it tasted like it was the bottom of the pan and extra crispy (burnt). Even when you ask for sauce they forget to give it to you and this is the second time I don't get a fork with my order. If you can make it to a different Panda location I'd definitely pass on this one. read more

Well this is the first time I have ever been on Yelp. Recently I went into the Panda Express in Woodland California and I was absolutely appalled at the Quality and quantity of food that I was given. First of all they need to check their stuff every hour or two to see if it still chewable. Secondly I've been another Panda Expresses and the quantity of food given was about triple what I received in Woodland. To top it off the chow mein have been sitting there so long that the noodles were no longer the right size they had shriveled down to like thin spaghetti. The food here is good, but the service is lacking. They told me they'd bring me my beef and broccoli when it was finished. It had been done for 15-20 mins and no one had even cared about grabbing it for me until I walked up and asked. Clusters of employees were in the back playing and showing each other things on their phones instead of paying attention to their customers and orders. There were a total of 6 employees at one point and 5 out of 6 of them were in the back socializing while they left the cook by himself tending to the drive thru, walk in customers, and the food. Also, after playing with their phones and socializing in the back, they did not wash their hands when they came up to the front and proceeded to serve the food. To add one last thought, the dining hall is a mess. Tables aren't wiped down (had to wipe it down myself) and the floor had food and garbage everywhere. This place needs some TLC and attention from the employees. I'm sure people don't want to feel like they're eating in a dump. read more

If I could give a half-star rating I would. We were driving back through Woodland and decided to stop to get some food. We thought there was a drive thru, however, failed to find it because there are no markings stating it is the Panda Express drive thru entrance. When we walked in we were greeted by a girl blowing her nose with a napkin behind the counter. She said, "Be with you in a second," and then she walked away to go take throw away her tissue (she did not wash her hands or put sanitizer on) She then yelled back for someone stating she needed help up front and proceeded to drink from a kids cup near another register. A lady came hurrying from the back carrying a mop or broom of some sort and immediately asked us what we wanted to eat, she didn't wash her hands I either. She was curt, rushing, and the portions were so small. At the end of her bagging our food, and ringing us up she coughed repeatedly into her hand. Again, no washing or sanitizer. Completely grossed out. My fault for not saying something. But needless to say, we will not be returning. Ordered Chicken Chow Mein and I'm sure there wasn't any chicken anywhere to be found. The orange chicken was cold, and the shrimp was dry. Now it is my understanding they no longer serve any pork in order to placate the Muslims. This was the worst food I have ever eaten, it was terrible. This Panda Express is terrible! I love Panda Express but not this one. The manager messed up my order and once I told her, she rolled her eyes at me! And aggressively threw it away. Then they wouldn't give my mom and I our food! They kept it on the counter and wouldn't scoot it down! Finally they did, we kept having to ask for spring rolls and and we asked for drinks! They acted like they were busy but they weren't. Also (not a big deal) but no fortune cookies! The floors were disgusting! Rice everywhere. And to top it off, the manager ate food off the floor!
