Room was full, kids having fun, noise level medium high - staff going quick but not missing a beat. They offered me a drink for the wait, which was very kind and unexpected. The firecracker shrimp is another great choice. Come to panda if want want a quick meal that is generally fresh and tasty. I love going here! I can't say that enough. This location is always clean and the customer service is always on point. Just fyi if you love Super Greens, try them here. This Panda Express is such a hit and miss. So many times it seems like they do their best to show they care about the walk in customers but it's obvious drive though it their priority. Guys when the string beans turn brown, throw them out don't mix them with the new batch. The quality just went down the tubes. The basic PE concept is there and keeps them going but from mixing old with new and not cleaning the dining area because your too busy with the drive through just pushes me to the next building, In and Out Burger. Can't speak for the drive thru that most negative reviews are complaining about, but dine in experience was excellent. Staff was friendly, seemed like they were very happy in the back, laughing and hollering, it's nice to see a happy work environment. They skimped a bit on the portions but honestly you're not really supposed to eat so much fast food, esp Chinese food, we didnt even finish it all so it was plenty, and all very fresh! When I want something yummy and fast and it's not a burger I go to panda. So many different meats and sides to choose from. A few of my personal favorites are orange chicken, sweet fire chicken and Beijing beef. The sides I usually pick or chow me in and fried rice. DEFINITELY NEVER COMING BACK! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! When you trying to grab a meal real fast through the drive thru, the person tells you to pull forward while they prep the honey walnut shrimp. They said it'll take them 5 mins to have the order ready. 20 mins later, no one from Panda Express comes out. To top it off, the cars that ordered after me has all picked up their orders and left. I walked in to check on the status of my order, the worker said they already handed the meal out...Instead of admitting they're at fault for handing the order to the wrong person, they accused me of trying to get a free meal and asked their manager for assistance. I handed them the receipt, the manager said they'll get the order ready again...and it gets worse. They mentioned how the teriyaki chicken was also not ready and it'll be an additional 30 mins wait. They do have a drive-thru, but so does the one by me in Natomas, and menu items to pick from are as expected from any other Panda Express. Back in the day I would kill a 2-entrée plate, but now I stick to bowls if I absolutely have to choose this place out of desperation/convenience. Simple order, bowl with broccoli beef over steamed rice. In general, sometimes I'll get the mushroom chicken or mandarin chicken. I don't recommend the walnut shrimp or Beijing beef. In the past I've asked for brown rice and it would take forever. If you're in a rush, don't come here for lunch break. The brown rice has a higher calorie count too, but nutritionally I'm sure it's better for you...but then again if you're eating at Panda then health considerations take the wayside when there's orange chicken and chowmein involved. Eggrolls and other fried things for those who fancy grease. Bowl was okay but I wish there were more/bigger pieces of beef compared to broccoli. Super small portion of food! Majority of the bowl was rice. Granted, I'm Filipino and love me some white rice, but for $5.80 I would like more substance please. I'd suggest a bigger sized scooper but that's my inner fat kid talking. Also, the broccoli wasn't fully cooked (steamed/blanched?), still crunchy stems. Yikes. Super slow at getting orders out, they are more consistent with leaving me hanging outside waiting on some greens for more then 25+ minutes, like literally blanched and pan fried for no time at all. Never offered compensation, always missing things, always feel ripped off here. I love panda but this location lacks. They are NOT FAST food by no means. Servings are inconsistent, and the attitude for them not taking orders or keeping up with orders is ridiculous. This place needs help. read more

Placing my order in the drive thru is extremely rushed by the girl taking your order! As soon as you get close to the speaker the damn girl is expecting you to know what you want and gets really pushy. After looking over the menu I place my order. We ordered two bowls. One with chow mein with orange chicken and the other one with fried rice and shrimp. The orange chicken didn't taste all that good and trust me I've been to a ton of Panda Express since they opened and I know what it should taste like and this place makes it different not in a good way. There.was only.1 person in front of me. However they did have a lot of drive through orders.They told me that it would be a 7-8 minute wait. They told me that they would call me. I paid for my order and waited rightt next to counter. 15 minutes later I asked them. They said they had forgot abput my order. I asked for napkins and forks. They also forgot that too. I had to go back to counter and ask again for sauce, napkins because they forgot. They do not seem to care about the customers. Don't go to panda express in Woodland California... they don't know what's going on!!! two times in a row I have ordered food and I've gotten empty soy sauce bags thrown in my bag making it a mess and forgetting my utensils.. the second time through the drive through they told me it will be a five minute wait on my mushroom chicken... and to pull around to The front... ugh!! Worst customer service I ever experienced. I don't write bad reviews for anyone as I am in the customer service industry myself but what happened last night was ridiculous. Pulled up into the drive thru and sat at the intercom for almost 12 minutes before someone even acknowledged that we were there. Come to find out they had people walking up to the window to order on foot because there doors were locked. Need I mind you it's 9:35 and they close at 10. Told us it would be a 5 min wait that turned into 30. Gave our order to the people behind us then took the food back inside and let it sit there for another 15 min. 8 employees inside all cleaning and worried about going home when they have people waiting and still trying to order. We finally get home and open up everything and realize they didn't give us our shrimp!!! We live on the deep west side. Off Ashley. So it was annoying we had to drive back to pick up the shrimp!! Then when we send someone to pick it up NOONE there knew why we were there or what we were talking about. They had to ask someone in the back. Really confused by how dry and tasteless the chow mein is considering that is one of their staple dishes and a usual customer favorite. They also did not have any teriyaki sauce for their teriyaki chicken, so it was just like eating salt and peppered chicken. Pretty lame. . . I love me some panda, however it's considered a fast food & I don't usually yelp fast food restaurants unless I'm dissatisfied. So here goes nothing, I came her tonight after a target run. My son was looking forward to some orange chicken, but instead we were told they didn't have enough orange chicken to complete our order, we ran into this problem with the Beijing beef as well. This isn't the first time this has happened, but they usually send us up front to wait, but that wasn't an option this time.
