The only reason I keep coming here is because it's close to home. But it's by far the worst Panda I've been to. Very small portions. Which is fine...I never finish it all anyway. But my issue is with the curt attitude of the employees. Tonight was the last straw. I was in the middle of asking for teriyaki sauce for the chicken and the drive thru window slid shut when I was mid-sentence. I sat there for ten seconds before I realized it wasn't an accident and she wasn't coming back. Got home with my food and, sure enough, no teriyaki. I don't know why the employees there (most not all) act like the customers are putting them out. They need to be reminded that we're the reason they have a job. read more

I struggle to understand why I can't add on a drink at the window when no one is behind me. The food is already cooked and all they do is scoop it up at that moment, the drive thru is always very fast so even if there were more cars at the speaker (couldn't see) it would have taken 1 more minute to let me buy a drink and the car at the speaker still would have been gone 3 minutes max later. Well let's start by I ordered a 3 entrée meal with honey coconut they charge you $1.25 for every entrée that was 375 on top of the nine dollar fee for the plate let me start by saying that I always ask how many shrimp are in per order they stated seven well I sat in the drive-through receive my food the girl was super rude quick to slam the window and when I honked and called her back I told her do you know how to count she stated yes I said ok count with me how many shrimp are here she said OK I slowly counted I counted 18 meaning they shorted me three shrimp not only that but the portion amount is ridiculously low I told her is this how much you give she said yes that's the portion you could see through the box it was 915 when I came to the drive-through close to closing so I'm guessing they gave me the last of the pot. Anyway this will be my last time coming here. Girls working are super rude I remember working customers service as a teen an all I ever wanted was happy customers. Seems here they must be really cool with management because they all still work here. Oh by the way rice was super fn hard sad!!! I rarely write reviews. Even when I'm disappointed with my food, but today I am beyond livid. I pulled up to the drive thru at 10:30am to get my food, girl was having trouble opening the window, (I was obviously first customer) gave me my food and I left. Kool. Get home take my first bite of the noodles and it was not fully cooked. I'm not saying the whole batch wasn't cooked, but the cook didn't cook the whole batch fully through. Then next I ate a broccoli and it was still raw. Who ever is cooking this morning was really half assing it. And still I wasn't mad but I did give them a courtesy call so they know before they get another complaint. Call when like this. P- "Hi this is blah blah from panda " Me- "Hi, I just left your drive thru and I'm not calling to complain, I don't want my money back, but the chow mein and the broccoli in the broccoli beef was undercooked. The broccoli was still very hard and chow mein was too" P- ....silence... Me- "hello can you hear me?" P- "yes I heard you. well we just opened and it's our first batch. I'm glad to see that a majority of reviews equal my sentiments for this specific location. I was there today and ordered 4 dishes and spring rolls, all four dishes were wrong!! I initially went through the drive through when i noticed the first three were wrong and i didnt get my spring roll. I was on my way home when I realized they hadnt completed my fourth dish and forgot to add rice. I had to go through the drive through 3 times to get my original order correct. There was no efforts to apologize or somehow make up for my wasted time on their mistakes. The sad thing is this is not my first time at this specific location that this happens to me. No teriyaki sauce on my TERIYAKI chicken... went through drive thru and got home to see just plain chicken. If you're going to serve plain grilled chicken... then call it plain grilled chicken. Wasn't even asked if I wanted sauce on the side or anything. But I shouldn't have to ask for sauce because that's what makes teriyaki chicken teriyaki chicken. When I opened up my container, a damn roach was on top of my teriyaki chicken. Absolutely disgusting. They could have at least given me some teriyaki sauce for it. I ordered 4 things on January 7,2020, simple things. Two honey walnut white rice bowls and one orange chicken white rice bowl. And one plate, half honey walnut half orange chicken white rice. On the plate and two of the bowls we got teriyaki sauce all over on them (usually delicious) however last night the sauce was terrible and ruined the food. It has a fishey smell to it in the containers as well (the small cups they give you if you ask). Now today January 8,2020 , I go in tonight to get a refund , I was told by a young women in a black shirt (didn't catch her name) that they don't do refunds and because I didn't bring the food back she couldn't. Then told me she could only remake 1 or 2 of the items. I told her the food wasn't the issue it was the sauce. She then told me she could give me new sauce. YOU DONT CHARGE FOR SAUCE! Why on earth would I want new sauce ?! I've been coming here since the restaurant opened , this is the first time anything like this has happened. I got home and opened my bowl and it had probably one scoop of white rice that covered the bottom and three pieces of chicken I also got no hot sauce or teriyaki sauce and they gave me two soy sauces. The food isn't terrible, you know what you're getting when you go to Panda. However, the drive through service is awful. They are in such a rush to take your order, constantly asking "anything else" or "is that all". The rush is unnecessary. This isn't somewhere we go often but we wanted to switch it up so decided to go here for the first time in a long time. We ordered our meal at the drive thru and forgot to add our sodas so when we pulled up to pay, I asked if we could add them to our meal. The lady at the window told me no, we weren't allowed to add any additional items unless they were ordered at the speaker. She said because she already processed the order....so I asked to pay for the soda separately and she told me no she would not ring me up for anything additional and that I could not pay for anything other than what I already ordered. When I asked what the reason for this was no one could give me an answer other than they simply weren't going to.... I was honestly in shock. It sounds so dumb but I have never been told that at any other drive thru/fast food establishment. The customer service is absolutely terrible. I asked to speak to the manager and she was absolutely rude. They turned us away! I didn't take the food and we decided not to eat there at all. Rude, rude and just plain rude... The only thing going for this establishment is that the food was good. So hats off to the chef. The staff did the bare minimum IF THAT when we walked in. There were slim to no smiles when my boyfriend and I were served. And what tipped it off was while one of the girls was taking my order (rudely), another employee, Elsa, Started taking my boyfriends order, and when he didn't have his two items immediately chosen, she passed the plate to the girl helping me, and told him that she would take care of him. Mind you, there was NOBODY in line and she was NOT busy... because when she turned around after rudely dismissing us, she pulled out her phone and proceeded to go onto social media (pictures were clearly visible) and show the Manager, Kona (I presume because she was loudly discussing, the schedule/scheduling while in the kitchen with an another employee who just showed up to her shift while filling up herself drink cup for her shift).... So if management is okay with her staff dismissing a paying customer ($10.10 per person, one would have to work about an hour to pay for this meal) it makes me wonder about the validity of the establishment. When you have employees like this representing your company while ON the clock... I can only image how they represent themselves off the clock.... Most companies don't even allow phones while on the clock. It's a damn shame that customers are dismissed in order for their employees to check in and show off their social media which seems to be more important than paying customers. I went through the drive thru thinking it would be quick and on my lunch; however, when I got my food I was stuck in my car with no utensils or napkins to eat with. Be careful at this Panda. They will forget items, and not refund you. There is no customer service. On New Year's Eve my son went to purchase the family a meal. When he got home, we were missing the teriyaki sauce for the teriyaki chicken, and they forgot one of our items. I immediately called them, but no one would answer. I called them again about 20 minutes later and no one answered. I called them the next day a couple of different times and again no one answered. So, I finally had a chance a few days later on January 5th at 1:50pm to go visit their store, because it really bugged me that I paid for something that I never got. I was not allowed to come inside so I had to plead my case to a lady over the microphone ordering system. So, I began to share my situations to the lady about receiving no sauce for my entre (that should have had the sauce automatically included), and for forgetting an item I had ordered, and that I had tried to immediately contact someone, but no one ever answered. She told me that I should have come back down that night. REALLY!!! I told her that this was supposed to be our family meal, so they wanted me to leave my family and let my meal get cold, waste a gallon of my gas, not to mention 20 minutes of my time, then get back into line to hopefully have them give me what they should have given me in the first place. She said yes, or I should have called. I quickly reminded her that I tried, but no one would answer. She then got ugly and she just told me that she had no way of telling if I was telling the truth and I could just be someone trying to get free food, so she said she could do nothing. I told her I was telling her the truth and I did everything I thought I should have short of jumping back in my car. She again started raising her voice and said "You waited too long, I'm not refunding you or giving you anything". I told her I was going to call corporate and she said "Go ahead, I don't care". I told her I had my receipt. I heard nothing, so I drove around to the tinted window and waved my receipt hoping someone would come talk to me, but sadly no one did. I left very sad, and hurt. All is I can say is that I have lived in Yucaipa my whole life, I'm over 60 years old, I am also very well regarded and respected in Yucaipa as well, and I have never been treated with such dis-respect at a restaurant. Just an FYI, I am the type of person who will wave down my waitress to tell them they forgot to charge me something on my receipt. I am exceptionally honest, but it does go both ways for me. I also will go and tell someone if they have overcharged me, which was the case at this Panda. All the places I have had this happen to me have been very kind and apologetic, not Panda. Not once did she apologize, she just accused me of being a crook. So sad. So here is my advice to everyone that does not want the same thing to happen to them. Hold everyone up in line and take the time to check everything in your bag, because if you leave and they forgot something you ordered and paid for, your only choice is to go back and hope they refund you or give you your item. I have always received fast service here. Food is always fresh but I usually go through the drive through. Tonight I went in because there was no line inside but about a 7 car wait outside. Went inside and ordered the girl that helped me (I didn't catch her name) and honestly the whole team were super friendly. Took my order and since the items I ordered were coming out fresh in just a few minutes she went ahead and waited to give me the fresh food instead of the food that has been sitting there. Some might have not wanted to wait but I was appreciative. She then went ahead and gave a complimentary drink for the wait. It was unexpected and I really appreciate the awesome customer service. The food is ALWAYS good! The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because of you go thru the drive thru, make sure and check your entire order! More times I have gotten home and realized they forgot part of my order... a big part... my son's kids meal was given to us, chow Maine only... ooppsss.... they did take care of it but almost every time they forget something. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BY MANAGER AND SUPERVISOR on Dec 30th at 8 PM. They didn't listen to what I ordered and charged me for what t hey wanted my family to eat. I ordered a kid meal. I got home and no meat was in my order. They said they can't replace my kid meal because I paid a dollar less. These girls are so rude there. They just rush you and don't even let you order without feeling rushed. Then when they mess up they DO NOT take care of the customer. This is not the first time. One time I got all the way home and all 4 of our plates had no meat. When I went back in they were all rude that time too. And I have gone multiple times and they are always out of white rice in the late evening. Would rather starve before I go there again. My gf had to return the food and get the money back. The food was old and seemed like it has been there for a while. The orange chicken usually is fresh especially being a popular item but here it really isn't. The spring rolls were super greasy and the vegtables inside were freezer burnt. Let me start out by saying I like Panda Express. I've been to several locations many times in the past. So I decided to try this fairly new location today... Ok, so I was intrigued by the Shanghai Angus Steak commercials, so I got a 3 item entree w/ that, the popular orange chicken, and the Honey Walnut shrimp. I know shrimp entrees are extra, which the server even told me, however it was failed to mention that the steak was extra too, which I had to find out via my receipt. Next, I had to wait almost 10 minutes for a side, which I usually don't mind because a) the food is hot and fresh and b) the servers dignify your wait w/ an apology and a thanks. I received neither of the latter. I became increasingly frustrated by the fact that the guy behind me also had to wait for an entree item to be replenished, as did @ least four other people after him. To make matters worse, they didn't have any frickin' chopsticks! It's Panda effing Express, every single one ALWAYS has chopsticks. I know some may think I'm being a little nit picky, but I eat all my Asian food w/ Asian utensils, thank you, so go fork yourself (jk- see what I did there?). Thank The Maker I had some emergency chopsticks @ home. Seriously though, when I got home and finally started eating, I noticed the franchise's titular orange chicken was a bit tough- it was not the fresh tasting good chunks of chicken I'm used to from PanEx, no. This tasted like something I'd expect from "Insert generic Chinese restaurant that tries half assedly and falls short here". So anyways, rant over. Would I visit a PanEx location again? Absolutely. The blatant disregard for the customers at this location is ridiculous! As if drive thru only isn't bad enough, when we got to the window, we were handed our drinks and asked to pull around. The parking lot quickly fills up with every other car that ordered in the drive thru. Being that we were the only car when asked to park, we assumed the first order to come out was ours but the girl gave it to another car. After 30 minutes of watching other cars come and go, my husband asked to speak with the manager. Serena, the person in charge came outside after about 10 minutes to tell us our food was given to someone else, which we knew. She then rudley asked "do you want your food or your money??"
