The wait time in the drive thru was a very long time, but very much worth it!! It seems to me that i received a free "Bigger Plate" in my order. Thank you!

They greet you enthusiastically as you enter. Food comes out hot and ready. Clean restaurant and hard working staff. Bathrooms were decent and well stocked. I'd recommend the family meal for the best price. Also, they have outlets available too.

    Not much food

I ordered 2 sides and with rice and chow mein. They didn't even fill the plate at all with anything. When I asked about it. They said it is the new containers. But you can clearly see there's not enough food in this container. The chicken had no flavor. She was very rude as well. These kids now a days

The Christmas decor was cute and they have lots of seating and board games to kill time. It's in a business plaza that's not too busy since the donut shop was already out of donuts and closed at the time. Parking should not be a problem. My friend got their horchata milk tea I believe and it just tasted like a standard horchata, not much of a tea taste to it. Not bad, but even with the 75% sweetness adjustment, it was pretty sweet. More so than most regular horchata. Seeing that most of the menu were standard items that can be get at any boba place, I opted to try something off of their seasonal holiday menu. I ended up getting the Peppermint Cheesecake Hot Chocolate with no whipped cream. Once again pretty sweet, but not as much as my friend's drink. I couldn't taste any hint of the cheesecake and it just tasted like a regular peppermint hot chocolate. Overall just okay, not a place I'd make a trip all the way out here for, but if your options are limited, boba's still boba!

A very cordial, pleasant, and kind young lady working there just the other day. A surprisingly lovely glazed donut I might say. But I kept looking around there thinking "in a small town like this how can they even sell enough donuts to keep this joint open but they obviously do". I could think of some simple things that could be added, but I wouldn't want to give away my secrets. All throughout the United States there are donut shops that have the same recipe apparently, not sure how that works? A lot of them are Asian run in the San Francisco area. I always laughed at the signs that would say "Donuts and Chinese Food" before walking in I would always say to myself: "Nothing like a good egg fu yung jelly doughnut"! Yeah, this spot could use a little more hipness for just spending a few dollars on some paint and artwork, etc. there would probably be a line more often. I don't know. I wasn't there on a weekend. Also, the beautiful new laundromat or remodeled laundromat next-door should really be a good revenue source for the hungry laundry goer....... But certainly grab a doughnut. They're very tasty. So keep heading up the road a bit to Joshua Tree as there are many cute little shops in the three block area there which I guess is called downtown Joshua Tree? I really dig all the new modern prefabs that are popping up which appeared to be primarily Airbnb joints(?)- a lot of style man! Yeah, I'll be back. I met some really cool people in that couple of blocks. If you haven't been there then hop in your car and drive up there right now and get yourself a nice little jelly doughnut...... "Thank ya. Thank ya very much".

Honey is used primarily to sweeten the drinks as well. I absolutely appreciate this practice because I love tasting the actual tea flavor. I ordered the Pumpkin Harvest milk tea and it was DIVINE! However, you can tell that this is a community and local favorite and it's a mom and pop shop that's been in business for quite some time. When we went, there was a consistent stream of people coming in and out to get some sweet treats and it was hard to find seating outside, let alone inside. Though they have board games if you want to kill some time. The funny thing is that I haven't seen such an old school traditionally Chinese aesthetic business in quite awhile. It's a bit kitschy and vintage, reminds me of those businesses in non-Asian neighborhoods back when I was hermetically sealed in the mid west. Anyways. Service was super friendly and answered our questions and we were in and out quickly. We got the scoops of unicorn poop (ube), a coffee ice cream, and a caramel ice cream. They melted super quickly and were a bit icier than to my liking, so I'd rather just opt for 1 scoop of flavor instead of the greedy money saving tactics my bf attempted and didn't even eat that much of the ice cream. Smh. I also got a caramel rooibos milk tea half sweet and it was super watered down. I don't think I'd come again, but it was neat to try at at least once.
