This is really a take out place although they do have some tables you could sit and eat at (looks like fast food tables). Their food is consistent and ok (not great but not bad). A number of other places have better food sometimes - which means other times the food is terrible. Panda house food is consistent and ok. If you find a dish you like - you'll always get the food the same way unlike other Chinese restaurants where food is great one time and horrible other times. What I Dont like is they fill dishes with cheap ingredients to cut costs. I order beef and snow peas. They add carrots, onions, celery and other vegetables that should not be in beef and snow peas - if I wanted all the other vegetables I would order beef and mixed vegetables. read more

The wontons here are homemade so I need to give them credit for making their own dumplings. The wonton soup is so good. The egg drop soup is a little too thick for my preference but I still enjoyed it. Their crispy wonton chips are just the regular bagged chips which are not what I like. I did go to a Chinese takeout restaurant that made fresh wonton chips and this place should think about doing that. It's really easy to make them especially if they have the deep fryer going all day. The pork fried rice was good. It has some crispy and more burned bits on parts of the rice which I like. The rice was brown colored like soy sauce and not that neon yellow color. The brown color means they don't put yellow coloring in it. I appreciate that. The pork in the fried rice was fresh tasting. A good stop for some takeout food and the wontons were great. read more

Is say this is the best Chinese takeout in the area. Not as cheap as most other places but so worth it! You get actual pieces of chicken in sesame chicken/chicken broccoli and general Tsao's as opposed to chicken skins and just fried batter in most other places. read more

Everything has been amazing, from chicken to beef dishes. The sauces aren't too thick and gummy and if you ask fr spicy, they oblige. My only problem is with the lo mein noodles. This is by far my favorite Chinese food restaurant in a 20 mile radius. I've been coming here for at least 10 years. Their take out is always ready very quickly (less than 15 minutes) and the food is always steaming hot. Their wonton soup is better than any kind I've ever had. I went to Panda House today to buy a gift card for my Aunts birthday. I understand that we are in the middle of a pandemic but I did not read any signs that said do not come in. I knocked on the door and had no answer so I opened the door and yelled excuse me about three times while wearing a mask and gloves when a women came out from the back and just yelled "GET OUT". What a shame that anyone would be so rude to another human being. I hope that they can change their attitude in the near future especially if they play to have customers. I can promise that they will never receive business from my family or myself ever again. Had she been a bit nicer and simply said sorry we are not allowing customers in the store I would have apologized, walked outside and called them. read more

Using your credit card???? BEWARE! I'm a bit ticked off right now. I got my receipt with my deliver and someone had written down my entire credit card number, exp date and CID number. The driver handed me the receipt. How do I know that he or someone else did not write down or take a cell phone picture of my information? This is an extremely careless way to care for confidential information that you entrust the establishment with. Also, the dish I ordered wasn't even how I expected it to be. My family and I ordered here the other night. All 4 of us got sick. Vomiting, diarrhea, fever chills and stomach ache. These symptoms came on about 5 hours after eating the food. Unfortunately w/o explanation, Marlboro/Manalapan is wanting for good Chinese food. Jinli is very good and very expensive. I've been going to this Panda House for years and I believe there maybe new owners, I can't prove it. The last few times, the food has been very good. They seem to have two websites, a new one that is for online ordering supposedly w/o a charge, and the old traditional one. Well today I checked the prices on both and the online ordering one was more $. So the convenience maybe built into to the prices on that website. My next order will be on a phone call in and I will see what prices they charge. It is possible the old website is out dates. At least Jinli does not up-charge to do an online takeout. I realize the pandemic has hit restaurants hard, and their prices are reasonable, but I do appreciate transparency. There is a panda house near Jinli that is absolutely horrible, and a Panda house in Shrewsbury near Eatontown that I use to frequent often - their menu is similar if not the same to this. read more

After a few recommendations from my neighbors and having no luck not to mention coming from Brooklyn and having the luxury to eat at one of the best Chinese places ever. Kum Kao, it was difficult to find something decent. I decided to venture out on my own and try this place since I pass it everyday on the bus. Was surprised but the food was pretty decent and have been ordering from here ever since. I normally have the bb ribs or General Tso's chicken. Food is always fresh, delivery is quick and prices are reasonable. Ate at the facility once as we were in the area, owners were ok. We have been looking for good Americanized Chinese food since we moved to NJ a year ago. Found it! Fresh, not greasy and super delicious with all the favorite dishes that you crave. Nice folks who were very happy to accommodate our special requests due to an allergy in our family. Guessing it is a family owned business with mom manning the phones and the pick up transactions, kids helping with folding egg roll baggies and dad cooking. My usual Chinese take out place has gone a little downhill in the last year so I decided to try Panda House. I was not disappointed at all! Their General Tso's chicken was so perfect on the spice level and their steamed dumplings were some of the best I've had in a long time. You don't even need the sauce. The fried rice has a very nice portion of pork. Overall, I am very happy and will probably order from here from now on. Giving 4 stars however due to an hour wait on delivery. No apology or anything. Only when I pushed them did I finally get them to give me some sort of discount for my inconvenience.
