The phone rings very frequently here at the dinner hour so the food must be good. I waited for a while at the counter to place my order. And they didn't take too long to prepare some Kung Po chicken and wontons appetizer. One thing that the long wait allowed me to notice was the filthy ceiling fan in the front area. I guess I'm happier not to be eating from here in warm weather times, but that fan had years of dust and dirt on it that still blows around. Shows a lack of attention to detail and cleanliness. I'll take a pic to illustrate. Back here again on a cool May day. Still no fan blowing but I forgot to check to see if they cleaned it by now. Very disappointing. Ordered some food delivery. The food that I received was nothing like the description and actually quite disgusting: Thai Coconut shrimp: The person on the phone described this as shrimp in a Thai coconut sauce. What it was: shrimp with congealed white bits and huge chunks of soggy purple onions Also ordered the crispy shrimp with cashews, and broccoli. It was not at all like the description. The shrimp was hidden in thick fried batter. The broccoli tasted sour, and they were hardly any cashews. The sauce came in a separate container. Vegetable fried rice-tasted good until I found a hard gray rock in it Waited 1 hour for a 30 minute delivery. Won't do that again. read more

Probably the worst Chinese food I have ever had. If anyone believes this is the best, they are either lying, paid, or have no taste buds. I can't express the disappointment my whole family has. My parents have a house close by and one very late night while we were visiting them, we stopped by Panda House for some take-out because we were starved. I can only personally comment on their soups. I always get the same thing. The Shrimp and Noodle Cantonese Soup #10. with Udon or Vermicelli. The shrimp are big and they pack it up with lots of broth and noodles. The prices are decent and it's so much that I usually eat it in two sittings. I ordered it on my first visit and every time we're in the area, I always order one to take home. I even keep a menu in my car which is crazy, considering I might be in the area less than ten times a year. That being said, both my son and husband have tried the regular Chinese take-out and both said the food is so/so and they've had better. Their loss because the soup is BANGIN! read more

Long story short, found a roach in my soup. I called them for a refund and told me I had to contact the delivery site that I ordered the soup from. I contacted the site's customer service and they told me that they should've given me the refund and that they aren't able to. Luckily enough, they were nice and put me on hold to call them again and demand my refund. read more

I ordered 2 orders of 4 chicken wings and received 2 orders of 3 chicken wings. I called them back and they said "we're giving 3 more because the wings are bigger". The size looked smaller to me. I said to her if I'm feeding 4 kids they each get two, but I only have six wings. She said they'll send me another order. Three minutes later I get a phone call saying "I spoke with my manager and he said he not sending another order". This place is absolutely amazing! Usually I don't do Yelp reviews mostly due to laziness. But this time, I decided I had to because rarely is Chinese food worthy of any review. They taste generic and extraordinarily unhealthy. Today, I ordered the sesame chicken chef special and it was crunchy without feeling dry. The sauce has just the right amount of spice without overwhelming the flavor. I had called with inquiries about the way they fried everything and the customer service was just spectacular. The lady was kind enough to explain to me without sounding impatient. I'm so used to the typical broken English in the other side of the phone that I was almost stunned by the proper English and the great customer service. My boyfriend ordered the boneless ribs and he was just as surprised as me about the quality of the food. We were stopping by town to visit and decided on good old comfort Chinese food despite knowing the health deficit of doing so. The ribs were not as greasy as we expected and it had a slight char to it without being burnt. I absolutely recommend this place. My Chinese food experience is usually average at best and this place was an unexpected surprise. However, I would recommend asking for extra sauce because they didn't give as much as had wanted although that probably varies form restaurant to restaurant. read more

Found Panda House Kitchen on grubhub when I first moved to East Meadow earlier this year. I order from PHK weekly and the food is always amazing. I always order a extra spicy Kung Pao chicken with a soda. Their customer service is amazing and they listen to every detail in your order instructions such as extra hot sauce, hot oil on the side and they even provided me with utentils and extra plates when I asked for them. Excellent pricing and great chinese for the area. The one flaw is that they always forget to bring me soda. I get refunded every single time I order bc they keep forgetting. read more

I also ordered pad thai for myself and I am sorry to say that I don't know what that was, but it was NOT pad thai! It tasted like they mixed ketchup in it or something. Way too sweet! I ordered delivery last night from this restaurant. I used my card to tip online, and the total was $16.10 including tip. When the food was delivered, there was another $3.00 added on in the tip section, making my order $19.10. I spoke to the delivery man about it and he just told me to cross out the original price and put the right one. $3.00 is not the end of the world, but on top of that, their food made me incredibly sick! About two hours after finishing dinner, I began to feel very nauseous. I went to bed hoping the feeling would subside, but it was worse when I woke up. I'm having very bad stomach pains and have thrown up multiple times today. I will be going to the dr on the way home from work. Suffice it to say, I will never order from here again. read more
