I had my hair cut by Savannah. What a whack job. She took chunks out of my hair, and had no clue how to cut thick hair, and instead she just hacked out of my hair. I had waited five months to have my hair cut, because of a previous bad hair cut, only to let it grow out and let this 'stylist' cut my hair so unevenly. I went back to get it remedied by the owner who did the best she could, but even she couldn't salvage the awful gap Savannah left me with. Furthermore, to add insult to injury, I wasn't even issued a refund, so basically, I had my hair cut by someone I wouldn't even let groom my pet, had I known the results, but I also paid for the privilege of letting this amateur cut my hair. I will now have to wait another five months, to go to a genuine stylist. read more

I've been trying my best to find a decent place to update a perm I've started a few years ago. I'm always trying to find a place that gives the right service for the right perm curl, for the right price. I am pretty sure this is a pretty secure place to have your right perm done!!! I'm very pleased by my service there! Can I also share something very sweet? This place is run by a fun lady named Gina Panda (that's her last name! And her two daughters work there. Hence the place is called Pandamania for the family name) She is a very generous lady who cares for her clients, and helped me- a stranger out- and found out I was hungry. She generously went to grab a bite to eat for me, and I was very touched by her kind gesture! I guess the only reason why I put a 4 star review was only because of language, but who am I to judge? This is my third time at this salon, and I've recommended it to all my coworkers! Not only do they provide exceptional quality in their services, but the staff are easy going and supportive. Gina handles clientele so well--she even bought the staff and clients pizza today. Aly has done great with my bangs--very attentive. And Amanda rocked my balayage! She's very detail-oriented. I was pretty bummed today - drove all the way to Boise from MH and got a call from my regular salon telling me my stylist had to cancel. I wasn't gonna just turn around and drive all the way home so I decided to see if I could get my hair done elsewhere. I'm so happy I came across Pandamania! They fit me right in and were genuinely kind - none of that snooty salon customer service you regularly get. Brandi did an AMAZING job on my hair and even went out of her way to get me some food while I was processing. The salon is family owned which I absolutely love and you can tell everyone is a big family there! Great atmosphere and good people! Plus they do a military discount! Proceed with caution here. I was from out of town and they were great and accommodating to get me in. The reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because one of the other stylist swooped in to try to save me and reduced my charges. The owner was great also and responsive when I contacted her after my appointment. Unfortunately my above review needs to be clarified due to the owners response although I was trying not to get in to details. The girl who colored my hair went at least 2 shades darker than what we reviewed prior to color being applied, there was no color on my neck it was still throughout my head after she had completed drying it. Upon feeling my hair my fingers came out with color on them. Her cut was a trim along the back of my hair and she didn't even look or touch the front until she told me she was done and I asked her about shaping the front. This is when the other stylist came and completed my cut. I left the salon feeling like I had a $5 hair color used on me and the kitchen scissors to complete my experience. read more

I went to Pandamania Salon for a haircut and they were able to accommodate me as a walk-in. My stylist was very friendly and attentive. She verified the length with me a few times to make sure it didn't end up shorter than I wanted and she asked where I parted my hair and how I usually styled it to make sure the cut would work for me. Price was very affordable especially given the level of service and they even gave me a new customer discount. The salon itself has a younger urban feel. The chairs and hair washing sinks were really comfortable. I was offered coffee, water, or soda. The other stylists and customers looked like they were having a great time. I was told they offer a variety of services and I will likely be coming back next time I want to color my hair. read more

I stopped in to the Lake Hazel location on 7/01 to make an appointment for my 10yr old daughter. I was told the price for kids 10 and under was $20. When we arrived on 7/5, I asked the stylist to trim/clean up the "buzz" job I did on the underside of my daughter's hair from her neck line to just below her ears. I also asked her to trim the rest of her hair and try to remove what split ends she could. That's all I wanted/needed. After the cut, she washed my daughter's hair and partially dried it. At checkout she said we were getting a 10% first timers discount and asked me for $36.00. I explained that my daughter was 10 and I was told it would cost me $20.00. She acted like she didn't know what I was talking about and said, no... It's $36.00. I reluctantly paid the ransom and left. The cut wasn't worth the $20 I was told I'd pay. When I got home, I checked the website for pricing. What I was originally told was correct...$20.00. I sent an email to the contact email to voice my complaint and never received a response. I definitely won't be going back or recommending their services!!!! read more

I have to revise my previous outstanding rating. Over the last two times I have called to make an appointment I've been told that my usual person is "no longer with the company" This generally indicates that a company is circling the drain. I have very difficult hair and don't want to train someone new every time I go it! I asked for a manager and have not heard from one. I like the people there but I have to conclude they are unreliable. I would say find somewhere that you can establish a relationship with a provider on an ongoing basis! It is now almost 24 hours later and only now have they bothered to call me back! I calmly explained how poor their service was and rather than being apologetic all they could do was make excuses! What a horribly run company! Fortunately they will out of business soon and we may all see what comes in their place! They denigrated into being rude, condescending and completely unresponsive to the needs of a customer of over 3 years. I will make sure that when I decide on my next provider I will make sure no one there has any affiliation with this horrible business and if they do I will take my business elsewhere. I went to Pandamonia just once for a haircut. There were 4 or 5 stylists there that were chatting with each other, and only 3 clients. I asked if Covid has affected business. "Oh it has been SO busy.". It looked anything but busy. My stylist had greasy, lank, blonde hair. I actually don't know if she even cut anything off my hair, I should've looked to see if there was hair on the floor. I know she cut a bit off my bangs because, when she was finished, I had to tell her that they were crooked. Worst haircut I've ever had except once when i got it cut in Walmart.
