Food was good. Meatloaf a little dry. Soup was delicious. The Menon coconut cake was perfect. My server Aiden was excellent. Nice clean diner with spacious seating. Ambiance is friendly and not hurrying you out. Great place!

We had a very good experience when we visited for breakfast. The diner is impeccably clean and appointed with all the typical decor you would expect. There is a beauty of a dessert case as you enter across from the door, interested in coming back on a future visit for something sweet! Speaking of sweet, our server was super friendly and welcoming. Interestingly the egg based combos come with 3 eggs - most diners come only with two. And the prices are all reasonable. Service was fast, the only significant opportunity was that all of the food was almost unseasoned and bland... nothing that some self added alt and pepper. Plant fix though. Perhaps they err on the side of caution given the more eh... elderly clientele? I'd for sure recommend this place. Give it a try!

The food is good, but the service is awful, especially the blonde hostess/manager. She is very unfriendly and snooty.

Is this the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to?…read more Actually, yes, it is. And I have been to a lot of Italian restaurants. The wait for a table was 45 minutes, but it was worth every minute. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was wonderful. We ended up being seated in a back patio room and though it was very hot outside (one of those 100 degree days last summer), it was actually very nice in there. The show started with someone asking for our drink order, then coming back with said drinks. After that she brought out some starts on the house, courtesy of chef and owner Joe. We were off to a great start! Soon after she returned to get our dinner order. After that, Chef Joe himself showed up to our table to thank us for visiting his restaurant and ask how we liked things so far. We let him know those starters were perfect...eggplant balls and a corn/tomato salad. Eventually our dinner came. Both dishes were waaaaaaaay more food than either of us expected. I had ordered chicken with mozzarella squares on top and drizzled in balsamic, which was a special created by Chef Joe's wife, according to the menu. My partner got eggplant parm...and wow, what a pile of food it was. Two huge eggplant pieces piled high with delicious sauce and served with some delectable pasta. Chef Joe came back to the dining room awhile later to ask people how their entrees were, and we let him know this was a great experience. I want to go back to Point Pleasant just to get here again. This time I will make a reservation.

I'd highly recommend Principe for happy hour and although I haven't had a full meal here yet, I think it's safe to say Principe would be great for dinner as well.

When we arrived on a Thursday evening at 6:30pm, the restaurant was almost empty, though it filled up quickly during our meal. The service was fine, nothing particularly memorable but attentive enough. The restaurant spans two floors, with the top floor being brighter and more spacious, creating a nice atmosphere. I especially liked the chandeliers, which added a touch of elegance to the space. In summary, the food was excellent but served in small portions. The complimentary bread was so good that we ordered more, though there was an extra charge. We started with the raw plates, and the oysters were a standout favorite. The snow crab claws were nice but a bit underwhelming, especially given the price. The pasta dishes were all delicious. Since we were sharing among five people, we got a taste of each, since the portions were on the smaller side. We tried all four pastas, with the caviar pasta and rock shrimp pasta standing out as highlights. The homemade pasta was perfectly cooked. The olive-crusted branzino was well done; I was initially worried the olive crust might be overpowering since I'm not a fan of olives, but it was balanced and didn't overwhelm the dish. The lobster/mussels dish and duck were fine but not remarkable. Hanger steak was unavailable at the time. We had a great time, though it was on the pricier side, especially since we also ordered a few bottles of wine.

So naturally, a Sunday dinner at Lure Fishbar on Prince and Mercer became the setting for one of those "you can't make this up" moments. Turns out, a dirty martini pairs surprisingly well with an even dirtier decision. For a little while, I felt seen. There were conversations, kisses, genuine moments, and the kind of closeness that feels real while you're living it. Naturally, we ordered a dozen oysters for the table. They're an aphrodisiac, and we all know where date night is usually headed. The crispy tuna rice was absolutely delectable, but do yourself a favor and ask for wasabi and ginger--they don't automatically come with the dish, and they really complete it. As for dessert? Discovering your date is deeply selfish, emotionally avoidant, disappears right before a holiday weekend, dismisses your feelings, and never even attempts to repair the damage... priceless. Thankfully, unlike the succinct relationship, the service was reliable. Even on a busy Sunday, everything came out quickly, and the staff kept things moving. Lure Fishbar gets the second date. Remember that one-liner, "I'll have what she's having", yep, that scene was shot inside Katz's Deli. Pretty cool. I ordered the the pastrami sandwich- considered one of the best in the world, featuring 30-day cured, smoked, and hand-carved pastrami that is tender and fatty, typically served on rye bread with mustard 11/10! My wife ordered the Katz's brisket sandwich- incredibly tender and rich in flavor. Ask for the "fatty" cut at the carving counter for the best flavor and moisture. You won't be disappointed! There are multiple lines you can join to order, and our wait in line was only about 10-15 minutes. Despite the chaos, there were plenty of chairs available to sit down and eat. The service was an unexpected highlight. We tipped our cutter when we ordered, and he was amazing, he gave us four pieces of fresh meat to try right there on the spot while he was preparing our food. The food absolutely lived up to the hype. We ordered the famous Reuben sandwich, and it was DELICIOUS. We also got the corned beef sandwich, which was fantastic (though the Reuben still won our hearts). To round out the meal, we grabbed a couple of their sodas and a hot dog. Everything was excellent!
