However, the manager, Stacey takes great pride in treating her new employees like absolute morons in front of everyone. We had just sat down, our waitress was new, and we could tell but we had no issue with it... she served the wrong food to the table right next to us... A mistake, no one died. Stacy, rudely and abruptly and in front of everyone. "scolded" this poor girl and took her from her job instead of coaching her. we were chatting with the people that got the wrong food and another table right next to us, and all three tables had decided together that she was wrong, that you don't treat people like that. Well, I told her that at the end of the dinner... She didn't like it. she followed me outside, not once, but twice to instigate an argument. then she has the absolute nerve to call the police on me because I won't leave. Now, remember, I am leaving the restaurant and going to my car. She followed me outside! Not only is that unprofessional, but it proves the type of person that she is. I had the worst dining experience EVER. If there were a -1 star that's what Pandora deserves. I had heard good things and bad about this place, so when a group of us decided to go there to celebrate a birthday, I hoped for the best. We were a total of 8. I ordered a Neapolitan burger. It supposedly came with a basil sauce, sweet peppers and mozzarella. Ordered it medium. Our server came out with all the food at the same time. My burger was topped with spinach and feta. Definitely NOT what I ordered. After apologizing she took it back to the kitchen. Several minutes later out came the burger. This time it had no cheese, just peppers and sauce . The server apologized profusely and said she had shown the menu to the cook and she said he assured her this was correct. By this time My poor burger looked like it belonged in a shoe repair shop. Back again. I asked if the cook could please give me a fresh burger when the order was remade. I was told he would. Ten minutes later there was the shoe leather on a bun with some mozzarella, sauce and peppers on top. It was served on an open bun with the burger partly covered with cheese and some red sauce and the other half with peppers. It was the correct order finally but everyone else had finished their lunch. The burger had not been replaced with a fresh one and was so overcooked that it was tough and tasteless. I've never had tough ground beef. (Pandora I salute you on a first.) I'll bet if I tried to slice into some of my shoes it would easier. There was very little sauce or cheese. However the pepper slices were huge. Bigger than the bun actually, so they fell out onto my plate when I put the two halves of the bun together. The burger was quite shrunken from all the rewarming. It looked like it should have been on the kids menu but I wouldn't wish this burger on my worst enemy let alone a poor kid. This disaster was $9.99. No apologies from management or an offer to either replace the food or give a credit on the bill or even a free dessert. Others in my party had problems with their orders, but it would be the size of Pandoras extensive menu to enumerate them all. 7-17-22 - 5:45 p.m. Stopped going there a few years ago when they tried to charge $2.49 for a second cup of hot tea. Thought I'd give them another chance. Diner was busy tonight with a wait for tables but counter was empty, so took a seat there. As I was sitting the waitress asked if I needed a minute, I said yes, but please bring me a glass of water. After that she disappeared for 15-20 minute. Finally the hostess asked if I had been helped and took my order, which was soup and a mini-meal. 10 minutes later I asked the hostess if she was still in charge of my order because I couldn't understand why it was taking 10 minutes to bring out a cup of soup. She said the waitress told her I wanted it my order "to go", which I had never said. Got 1/3rd through the soup and was presented with my platter, but given no silverware. A girl at the end of the counter wrapping silverware said she'd get me some after she finished wrapping them. Meal (liver and onions) came out with no onions, mashed potatoes were room temperature, liver was overcooked. Won't be going back again -- they had a second chance and blew it. People who sat down at the counter after me were ignored as well, while the waitress filled a tub of lemon slices and took to another station or just disappeared from view. read more

Pandora is my favorite diner around. It's a bit of a drive from my house but is completely worth it. The portions are huge and the prices are reasonable. You also get a huge basket of assorted bread and dessert with dinners as well. I really love coming here because the food is always consistent. I always get the Jack Daniels Meatloaf and it never disappoints. The place is always busy and the servers really know how to handle that. They turn the tables very fast so there isn't much of a wait time at all. read more

This is a hidden gem in South Jersey. We went here on a crowded weekend evening and were immediately sat and taken care of. The food portions are huge and the price is right. My friend raved how good the food was, so I went with another friend and definitely not returning , the blond hostess/manager looked and acted like she was on something, eyes wide and she she didn't want to listen to anything, the waitress didn't know the menu, the food nothing to write about...my friend and I had to go orders, the waitress came to us and said our to go was ready and did we want our desserts to go? We looked at each other and laughed she said fine and agreed to have our desserts to go and we waited and waited, so I said was she pushing us out still no to go order, so I called the waitress and told her to take away to go and bring me my dessert...actually not finishing the experience ..bottom line never returning. Always go here weekly and they are always on point but I a very disappointed tonight. Called for pickup to get a young girl who apparently is in a bad mood and acted like I was bothering her. She put me on hold for 7 mins until I hung up and called back. When I told her she left me on hold I go not apology other than to ask what I wanted to order. While the staff was polite and attentive, the food quality was average at best, and the ambient noise was unacceptable. During our meal, the volume of the background music was increased at least three times. My husband, son, and I came in for lunch today. We had a bad experience at this location but it seems to be under new management so we gave it a shot. The renovations were a huge improvement. My waitress was helpful but poorly trained. My husband ordered a burger that was to have come with frizzled onions. It came with sweated onions. We mentioned it to the waitress and she went back to the kitchen. Someone in the back of the house told her to tell us the onions were right. I should mention too that the burger was red and cold in the center. He asked for Medium Rare. In the meantime, I am looking at this bowl of crud that looks and tastes nothing like what was described on the menu. Pasta, with asparagus, mushrooms, grilled chicken and prosciutto with two type of cheese. In my bowl sat canned, wilted asparagus and brown goop that hid all chances of me locating any prosciutto. Rather than be told that the thick brown saucy bowl of mush in front of me was what I ordered, I grabbed a menu. Sure enough there was no mention of this tomato pasty-beef bullion-y heavy graze in the dish....and what do you know? Hubby's burger was supposed to come wit frizzled onions. I asked the manager to the end of the counter, away from her customers to discuss our problem. She made excuses and it was clear that I was horribly boring to her. I asked her to visit my table and take a look at what I was served. She came and took the plate but did not even look at it much less admit there was a problem. She acted as though we were being too demanding. By then, we had waited an absurd amount of time for poorly plated, cold, underdone, and all out gross food so I did not want a substitution. I waited in the car while my husband paid the bill. As a professional courtesy, he introduced himself as a Chef nearly 30 years experience and voiced how upsetting it was to be told he was wrong by his waitress. I stopped by with my boyfriend yesterday and had a good lunch for a great price. He ordered the tuna melt lunch special. He said it was good and enough for 2 big meals! I am a vegetarian so I asked for my sandwich to be made without chicken. It was great. They obviously added extra veggies since I did not want the chicken. This was a nice touch because I often find when I ask for no meat, I get the same sized portion of everything else for the same price. It's usually very disappointing. Pretty great deal in my book. However, the one thing I have a major problem with was their customer service when we first walked in. The place was almost empty and behind the counter there were no less than 5 servers. The host/owner was not there at the moment to seat us, so began a very awkward minute or so staring contest with the servers. Extremely disappointed with this diner. We were seated in the back of the diner although there were many booths up front. No one came to our table to ask if we needed water let alone food. My husband went to the front area and asked for a waitresses to come by. No one came for 20 mins and we finally left after 30 mins of waiting. Watching others who came way after us get service was very upsetting. Not sure if this was a coincidence but the table next to us where also people of color who were also having a hard time getting service in a decent timeframe. This diner was recently renovated and the inside looks great. The menu is huge so it can be difficult to choose from but it seems like it has a lot of options for people to choose from. The dinner specials had nothing for a vegetarian but they do have a veggie burger. I only ordered the mozzarella sticks and a side salad. I thought everything was good, nothing spectacular but it was good for what I wanted at the time. This has become a favorite diner for one of my friends so he enjoys it. I wouldn't say that it's my favorite diner in the area but I also wouldn't say no to going there. The wait staff is okay, the girl was nice but seemed disinterested in us overall, which I enjoy a more personal type. I ordered French toast and it was tast-less just barely ok ( how can you screw up french toast? ) Waitress was just ok more like a machine no personality. Made our 3rd visit to the Diner. The first two was good. This will be my last time visiting this place. The waitress had nothing but attitude towards us. Overheard the other waitress talking to the customer stating this is not my section but "I have to help her"! Food was bland, potatoes was cold, toast was burnt. Fast! Fast! Fast! Easily one of the fastest diners for bringing out your food. Typically you could be in and out within a half hour. The food itself if great, portions are large and the price is cheap. I've tried many different items and have yet to get a bad meal. I should have check Yelp before we stop at this diner. This had to be the worst food I have ever had any place in my 70 years of life. We all had soup, two of us had French Onion and my wife had green pea. I would give the onion soup a 5 out of 10. The green pea was a 2 out of 10. I wanted onion rings.... BIG mistake. Frozen, they were served hot, why can't a diner sell real onion rings? I had prime rib, I should have changed my mind when the waitress ask me how I would like it, you can have medium and up. This poor piece of meat had never seen medium, think it was off of someones shoe. My wife had a open faced meat loaf sandwich, how can you go wrong with a sandwich. They grilled the meat loaf, it was so done it had to be related to my prime rib. It came with fries and when my wife ordered fries she got s second plate of fries. I know it was late at night but if you are to tried to know what you are doing you should go home. My daughter had a steak sandwich. If you can not cook you should stay out of the kitchen. So I had decided to give Pandora another chance tonight. Worst mistake ever. Other then the somewhat attentive service, the food was not so good. My husband ordered eggs & sausage w/home fries. Basic. Home fries burnt. Now I ordered a chicken cordon blu with potatoes and green beans. The chicken was so over cooked it had dried out to the point it was not edible in some spots, In fact it wasn't all that hot when it came out. More like Luke warm, green beans and potato were cold too. The flavor of the sauce wasn't good at all, tasted as if vinegar was put in it. Same went for the green beans. I like vinegar to an extent, but for this dish it doesn't work. On the other hand the soup was delish.. I had cream of crab. I wouldn't recommend going to this place. Since we moved to this area a few months ago we have tried all of the diners in the area and Pandora by far is the best. They are always busy but the wait to be seated is never too long. We have been there a number of times at different times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Their menus is extensive, more so than any dinner including those up north. Their portions are big. You can expect to have a bag to take home. We have been pleased with everything we've ordered, from omelettes to dinners. The prices are reasonable and many menu categories come with soup or salad, beverage, and dessert. My wife always asks for her fries and homefries done crispy. Have made the trip to this diner on several occasions now as part of a road trip to the local flea market. Have had breakfast, lunch and dinner. The meals are always fresh and well crafted. Like home cooking. The soups have been exceptional. Our favorite cake is the German Chocolate. Boy, this place has really gone down hill in the last 2 years. I have been here dozens of times and ordered pickup frequently enough to know when things have deteriorated. I just ordered takeout of the mini-meal - Chicken ala-broccoli, meatball soup, and cake of the day. The soup was good but a little salty, chicken as expected and tasty from the last order but the cake was not only a sliver but half of the cake part was missing as if someone took a sample while putting it in the takeout container. No bread side despite asking for it when ordering, The worst part is I called in to ask for a manager to discuss the shortcomings of the meal. She could have cared less and tried to tell me that the Half-slice normally given with the meal was not half gone. She did offer to give me the bread but another 40 minute trip to pick it up and come back home was out of the question. Stopped in for a veggie burger, but they will not allow substitute a small salad in place of meat base soups. This is the first place I have ever been that well not exchange a 10 cent bowl of lettuce for a bowl of soup. The reason I was given is that the soup is complimentary so they cannot sub a salad. I'm pretty sure it's built into the price of my meal. If there was a non-meat soup option I would have gotten that, but there were none. The server was very nice about it though.
