Simply an excellent place to have any meal. Large portions (you will carry out leftovers), great waiters/waitresses, nice and clean surroundings. We've eaten here a lot and have never been disappointed. Their meatloaf and their stuff flounder are our favorites for either lunch or supper. read more

I just came across this review page or i would have written sooner. I brought my 16 yr old daughter in for her birthday dinner. The diner was newly renovated and beauitiful inside and out.The hostess was pleasent in seating us .As we looked over the menu there was so much to choose from. My daughter order the cheeseburger ,I had a hard time deciding since i like to try new things,I order the tuscan salad and i was very surprised by the portion size it was two meals im one..and for the price i was very happy. Our server Beth was very pleasent and efficient , she came around several times making sure everything was ok and if we needed anything. i would give this place a -1 the food took forever they were rude my food wasn't even cooked i took a bite of my burger an it was just blood it wasn't even cooked. they took about 45 minutes for our food an it was completely dead they were so rude they had horrible attitudes towards there costumers. i'm really sad i used to love this place but this was just a really bad experience an i don't know if i will be returning again. read more

The crab cakes here are slammin ! For being a smaller hometown vibe to the restaurant its quite busy so obviously the food is good . The wait staff is super friendly and prices are good compared to alot of other places and portions are hefty . Would totally recommened this place . My other half did say he asked for extra crackers for his soup and didnt get them and the bathrooms were ehh . All in all they deff deserve a four star read more

This is one of the best diners ever. Everything is excellent from the staff members and the food is awesome. i have dined in many places but for me Pandora is #1 Bravo for them I recommend it . After a previous bad experience, we gave Pandora another chance & went for dinner. I found crunchy cartilage & a 3 inch chicken bone in a cup of Broccoli Cheddar soup. Showed it to the waitress, she agreed it was wrong. Manager on the floor never came over. I went on their website to contact a manger, there is no email address. Went to their Face Book page & sent a message. They never bothered to respond. We're locals & were not going back. read more

You don't WANT to give a diner 5 stars...after all, it's a diner!...but in Jersey, where diners have a long and proud tradition...and the really great ones are known state-wide...Pandora justly resides in the pantheon of the absolute best. You can expect a modest wait, even mid-week...because in Jersey, if a diner is really good...people will come, and people will willingly wait. Pandora has the usual monstrous diner selection...but the all the selections, especially the seafood...always freshly made, and always reasonably priced (!) stands out, for us. From the homemade soups and bread (ask for the plain rolls for dinner and save the yummy cheese rolls, and cinnamon rolls for after dinner with coffee...or better yet...take 'em home "for later"!) everything we have ever ordered is wonderfully prepared and well presented. The service is typical, a little slower when they're packed...but they are SO amenable! We have never had a single exchange, substitution, or other custom request denied...there's a can-do attitude on the part of the wait-staff that indicates that this is the way the management wants their customers treated. Worth the trip, worth the wait, worth the money. You won't be disappointed. read more

My family and I use to visit here weekly unfortunately we moved further away. The prices are great and the food is very good as well. We went on our 2 second day in NJ, we asked the hotel employee and she said, Pandora is the place to go for a delicious an great size breakfast. We absolutely love it and we came back in the next following days for breakfast. One day we decided to try their lunch, we were surprise to see so many options in a menu, it made us guess how good was the lunch. But again, it was everything very tasty and very affordable. Reliable diner food with swift service in a clean restaurant. Their soups are all good, especially the chicken noodle. Salads are large with quality and fresh ingredients. The first time I came into this place my jaw dropped, literally. The remodel was absolutely amazing, from the trim molding the seats and even the floor. The food is some of the best food iv ever had, and iv been to many places all over the country! I have never experienced better service in any diner iv ever been in! I highly recommend this place. The prices are great as well for example I got a filet mignon with two sides and desert for only $16.95! And it was so good. We come here regularly, Vincentown Diner is just too pricey. Portions are a good size and we usually take home leftovers. I was disappointed in the burgers, but the Reuben is tasty. Just Like Pandora's Box...you never know what you'll get! Just got back from dinner. Food was OK, waitress was nasty and rude. She had a poor disposition, was curt, and abrupt...she obviously did not like people or her job. When I asked what the vegetable choices were, she literally pounded on my menu with her pen and told me to read them. This is the second time our experience sucked. Like the other reviewer on this site, we thought it was just a fluke. We had been happy and well treated the entire first year they were open. Guess they don't need anyone's business because the service is abysmal. The manager (presumably, as she was directing all the waitresses and ran the cash register) was not much better. She had no interest in whether we enjoyed our meal or if the service/food was OK...she just took the money and pushed us out the door ( nope, it was not even close to being busy, not that it would be OK to be dismissive to you patrons under any situation). We are not going back and will make sure we let folks know in our community (2250 homes) to stay clear. There are too many other alternatives where our patronage is welcome. Arrive to a thriving diner... which is great to see! We have never eaten here before. All the staff was engaged with activity working hard and not just standing around. The menu had a large variety to choose from... our Waitress was very nice and helped with our selections "The burgers are the best"... so, we order jack daniels burgers... came with soup, fries, slaw and a pickle for $9.99. The soup of the day was a seafood bisque, tomato based... it was very good and my son enjoyed it also which is saying a lot! He isn't a soup kid..., more meat and potatoes :-). The burgers came out perfect timing without being rushed from our soups. The burgers was cooked perfectly to order.. medium. They where large and served on a brioche roll... AMAZING! I'm not sure when this dinner was renovated, but it recently was and looks great inside. I don't know if they revamped the menu as well, but the food is really good, especially for diner food! My family and I went there for Christmas eve dinner. There were ten of us, and our waitress was very impressive! She got everything correct and was very attentive to our large group. And our bill for ten was extremely reasonable. Unlike most diners I eat at, I've not had breakfast here, only dinner, but my dinner was great each time. I even got crab stuffed salmon one night and it was a HUGE portion and so tasty. read more

We spotted this place at the day of opening and we decided to try it out. I have to say that I went in for the first time and I enjoyed every second of it. This place is family designed and so clean and the best thing about it is the food. I ordered a Rib EYE steak and Its like it never happened before. 4 days passed and the taste is still in my mouth. I actually had nothing left behind because its that good. Excellent chef and excellent prices. They really took it up 10 notches in making the whole environment Perfect. A job well done. I'm from TX so diners are very new to me. I've lived in NJ for a year and a half. Since moving here we have been trying different diners. None of the ones we tried met our expectations. Not until we visited Pandora Diner. We were very reluctant to try yet another diner but I'm so glad we did. I've visited this diner 4 times now and each time we have received great service from the hostess to the wait service. I've had their breakfast and lunch and can't wait to try their dinner. I've had their club sandwiches which are huge, the Canadian bacon eggs Benedict, the Italian eggs Benedict which has hot Italian sausage and is soo yummy, their French toast which was so light and airy and by far the best French toast I've ever had, to their soups. This past weekend I had a little bit of a hangover and wanted some menudo soo bad, which is a Mexican soup-like remedy for a hangover. We stopped at Pandora and I had a cup of a soup that I can't remember the name of but it had large pieces of potato, celery, and carrots in a chicken broth. It was just what I needed to get past my gross feeling. My husband ordered a blt and a seafood food bisque. Our check was $8!! We couldn't believe it! Delicious food at great prices. We will definitely become regulars! Oh wait...their cheese Danishes are bigger than my head and are only $2!! I love you pandora! Lol read more

Solid Jersey Diner. 500 things on the menu, food delivered faster than fast food joints, clean, service is fast and pleasant, food is typical diner fare nothing great but nothing bad. Burgers are above average. I recommend going with the "Mini Meal" plenty of food and save a couple of buck! Meals come with salad, nice size. They serve complimentary Cheese bread and cinnamon bread, similar to Mastoris, I wonder if there is a connection? Reasonable prices and good portions. Not the OMG look at all this food portions like some of the other diners. Hope they make it, it is nice to have a solid diner in the area!!!! read more

Went to this diner shortly after it reopened. Terrible food! I ordered one if their cheeseburgers. It was a frozen patty that was like rubber. Fries were undercooked and soggy. We ordered the crab soup. Claimed it was Alaskan king crab but was imitation crab meat in a gooey cream broth. The lettuce and tomato on burger were horrible and def not fresh! Food tasted old. Service was slow. Not sure why the diner is packed all the time. New outside of diner but same old crappy food! French onion soup was awful! This is a diner staple and this was terrible.
