I went here for breakfast. Don't waste your money. ...unless you are just getting coffee. But, if the food sets the standard, then the coffee is WAY BELOW AVERAGE too. I was given food that was old and corrected by undercooked food that tasted like it was from out of a can. ...and they use smuckers pancake syrup; which is actually corn syrup. I would give them four stars for the service we received but the food served wasn't all that. Is it a night shift chefs unwritten rule with NJ diners to serve sub-par dishes after the dinner crowd leaves??? Just curious because diners lately have been sub par! We were a party of 6 our order was taken promptly and I in a pleasant manner by ooze waitress. Their menu is extensive and the prices quite reasonable for the selections. I had the Greek Gyro, it came with a soup and fries for $9.99. My soup choice was the meatball barley -yes meatball barley. It was in a tomato base and wasn't that bad tasting but the tiny meatballs looked and tasted just like something out of a Progresso canned soup. My Gyro was served with the traditiONal taziki sauce and also extra sauce on the side. It had tomatoes and lettuce in the pita bread but the meat was just plopped on top of the veggies although ok tasting it was dried out and not that appetizing to look at. The accompanying French fries were ok but the serving size could have been a bit bigger. For dessert I choose the tapioca pudding with whipped cream , it was pretty tasty. This place was great a year ago but no longer. The service is fair at best. The food occasionally comes out cold and under cooked. Our last visit, my friend order salmon. It appeared to be done on the outside but the inside was cold and slimy. My friend sent it back and we waited 20 minutes for a fresh plate to be brought out but got nothing so we cancelled his dinner and left. A good hostess would have apologized and maybe offered us coffee or desert but Pandora's hostess complained to her waitress, "why are we cooking him another salmon if he doesn't want it" and coldly walked past us with no eye contact. read more

This is our new place. lol We've been here a handful of times, and it just keeps getting better every time we go. First of all the service is outstanding. Every time. It may seem a little out of the way, but its worth it to go, plus the drive out there is so pretty. And now that Six Flags is open, we'll be stopping in more often now that we know where it is, that's the way we take home every weekend.... lol But really, it's only about 5 minutes from Burlington. The eggs benedict is now my new favorite in the area. Their hollendaise is so good I could drink it. The waffles and french toast are so decadent and delicious, and are about the size of my head. HUGE. And I think they were only 4 bucks. Can't beat that. The coffee is the best. If I lived close enough I would stop in for morning coffee to go every day. A diner should be judged by the caliber of their coffee, and this is 5 star worthy coffee. lol The chicken parm is out of this world. Yall, they put ravioli's ON TOP of the parm. What more could you want? lol The texas meatloaf is also insanely delicious. Meatloaf with bacon, cheddar and bbq sauce on top of mashed potatoes with ONION RINGS on top of all of that. I mean.... it's crazy! But amazing! Plus, you get soup, salad AND a piece of cake! All of the sides I've had so far were actually FRESH veggies, not frozen, and were seasoned well. Green beans were great and still crisp, and the mashed potatoes were REAL potatoes not from a box. The meatball sub was so big it actually didn't fit on the plate. Seriously. It's OVER a foot long. Hubby said "It'll do." Which is code for it's REALLY good. He could only eat half, which is odd for him but it was ginormous. The fries are actually really good here, really crispy and seasoned properly. No bland, soggy fries at Pandora. The wraps are also huge, my portabella mushroom wrap had FRESH sauteed mushrooms and spinach. It's probably my favorite thing I've ordered so far. If you want something healthy, this is perfect. All the sandwiches AND SALADS come with a cup of soup. So if you are in the mood for soup and salad or sandwich this is perfect! (Which is what I usually order anyhow...) The broccoli cheddar and french onion are my favorite. Their desserts are phenomenal. Not to mention they take the time to put lil designs on the plates and really make it feel special. We waited more than a half hour when my wife had the opportunity to scan the seating list and noticed that we had already been incorrectly crossed-off as seated. Aptly named Jersey diner on Rt. 206, Mt. Holly, NJ. The place appears clean and well maintained. All the marble shines from polishing. The staff in black shirts and red ties look like a well oiled machine. I sat at the counter for a late breakfast. The service was friendly, but a little bit off. I ordered a short stack of French Toast, with a side of Sausage and Coffee. The Bunnomatic brew was good, and my request for milk rather than Mini-Moo was well met. The egged bread was a thicker, egg based loaf with the consistency of Chollah, but not actually that species. It grilled up well with lots of caramelized edges and a huge capacity to soak of the Smucker's Syrup. Wish they had a Maple Syrup alternative, but guess not. Glad it was only two slices, as they were big and filling. The breakfast sausage was four links that seem to have been cooked in the deep fryer rather than on the grill or in a pan. They were uber oily and had a strange taste, perhaps from whatever had been deep fried prior to my order. I tried, but could only eat half with max effort. Not good. I received my bill before I was finished from an escaping server who wished me a good day, but never offered a second mug of coffee. I had to ask one of the other women behind the counter for more, and she sweetly obliged. This small slight of courtesy set my attitude toward the place. Plenty of potential, but lack of execution; especially in human interactive skills and short cuts taken to save time/money, but disrespect the paying public. The worth of a diner is truly based on it's breakfast menu. Unfortunately, my gentleman friend and myself went for dinner. However, I did end up ordering a Monte Cristo (a favorite of mine) which is also a brunch time item. It was the best thing we ended up receiving. So, first off we ordered Chicken Julienne soup with our meals. Now neither of us had it before, but when we received it we were stumped as to why there were giant chunks of vegetables in it. (Literally it was as if they'd cut a carrot in half and dunked it in there). After some google-fu we discovered that this type of soup was supposed to have long thing strands of veggies, not barely edible huge chunks. Strange. The rest of our food was lackluster. My sandwich was decent, though not deep fried as a Monte Cristo should be, but at least it had ample meat and cheese. My boyfriend's fish and chips came out of a box, very disappointing. The fries were typical diner mush and nothing really stood out. We'll try again for regular breakfast, but honestly, this place isn't that good. read more

So i ran around to get the working papers signed by her, the doctor, and the school. We bought two shirts and pants for the uniform. Then she makes us drive the working papers to her the end of April. She says she'll let my granddaughter know when she's on the schedule. Two weeks later my granddaughter called to check when she starts. Anastasia was very rude to her on the phone and acted like she was bothering her. I finally called on June 2nd and she says she didn't offer her a job, that she needs working papers to even interview the kid. That's a lie. She told me my granddaughter should look for another job. A friend and I visited this place on a Wednesday evening. There was a good deal of cars in the parking lot, which is always a good sign, plus there was a good deal of old folk in the place. ... Let me explain that last comment. I have a theory (which hasn't really let me down) that if a restaurant is full of old people then it's going to be good. Old folks know where the good food is. Seriously. So we were seated within minutes. Our waitress was...she was cool but had somewhat of a funky vibe about her. Hard to explain. Anyhow, she brought drinks and took our order. I had a wrap and a salad. The salad came out first and was just like any other salad. The wrap came out and was accompanied by French fries. The portion was HUGE. I couldn't finish it. (2 more friends ended up joining us and they couldn't finish their meals either). So why two stars? Well...no one was overwhelmed by what they got. We all thought that our meals were just okay. So while the portions were huge, the taste wasn't necessarily memorable. Given that...I would go back and try it again. This place always seems to be busy, so my boyfriend and I stopped by for lunch. Our waitress took forever to even take our drink order. When she did, we ordered the California melt and the chicken salad melt. Our ice teas took forever to come out, then our food arrived. We were not expecting opened faced sandwiches, but that is what we received. Loaded with cheese, bacon and grease I found the turkey slices to taste spoiled and the avocado was unripe. My boyfriends chicken salad sandwich , also loaded with cheese and bacon, I believe to hide the actual taste of the meat, was underwhelming at best. We ate a few fries and asked for a box. The staff is really friendly and paid my family a lot of attn which was great but the food was not that great. I ordered a black and blue burger and it was cold and there was cheddar cheese on it as well and it was cold. The blue cheese wasn't greasy and it was just not good. My husband ordered a pastrami sandwich and it was just okay as well. We notice that this diner is frequented by a lot of older people so we realize that's probably why they stay so busy, especially for dinner. I'm not sure why this place got rave reviews. The food was just okay. Absolutely nothing special. One of my biggest pet peeves is a place that can't get a grilled cheese right. My daughters go to is a grilled cheese. So when it's brought out with only half the cheese melted, it's not a grilled cheese! You just put American cheese on toast! There selection is enormous. This was a travel day for me so when passing the "Pandora Diner" at dinner time it looked attractive from the outside, so why not. As with most diners the menu is extremely long, and there are about 45 specials. I chose the "Monte Carlo Grouper" which sounded good. It started with a bread basket, check the photo, and a salad. By the time I finished the salad I was good to go., but was looking forward the the main meal. The grouper looked and smelled good, and tasted just as well. A good choice for me, and came over a bed of angel hair pasta. More than enough food. The special came with desert but first o was full and second I was in a hurry so I passed on the desert. However they even offered to send it with me. Only problem and reason for 4 stars was that it seemed like the meal was a little slow in coming. This diner definitely doesn't skimp on portions with your meal choice! I stopped in for lunch and had the Turkey with stuffing and gravy and a side of broccoli. The broccoli was steamed. I wouls suggest asking for butter, it was steamed and nothing else. I finished the meal. Also included with the meal is a slice of cake of the day or pudding. It was very tasty. I cant complain, for the price of the meal, you get generous portions! I have heard they also have a pretty good breakfast menu. I haven't tried breakfast here yet. The lunch and dinner menus have a pretty good amount of options to choose from. I am currently at McGuire for the week for work, and found this place Sunday night on the way in from Philly. This was the only place open. I am SO HAPPY I found it, because I went to dinner here literally every single night (6 days straight). I tried something new each night and was impressed each time. All of the soups are amazing. What has happened to my favorite diner? The past 2 times I've been there the food was awful! Ordered shrimp in a basket, I've seen larger shrimp in a can. Therefore overcooked and tasteless. I was in the neighborhood because drove down to chop down a fresh Christmas Tree. As I was driving home, I was starving and I came across this diner. Let me tell you, it is not like any other diner. Easily accessible by a main route. First of all, the staff is very friendly. I come from New York where the people are rude and always in a rush. The staff here made it there goal to make it a pleasant experience. My waitress checked up on me at least 5 times to see if I needed anything. I ordered the Caramelized Burger and it came with a soup or salad and 2 sides. They also have a part of the menu called "Mini Meals." Those meals are definitely not mini. 1 portion can feed 2 people. In the mini meal you get soup or salad, entree and a dessert. The chicken parm is part of the mini meal and it is more than enough for 2 people. The whole mini meal is $12.99. It came with spaghetti as a side. For $12.99 you can't beat all the food you get in the mini meal. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area or close driving distance. read more
