A happy choice even though I was rushing due to a meeting I was headed to. I felt welcomed as I walked into this diner and was offered a booth or a table. The resonating din of the room reflected happy breakfast people. I could see why as the wait staff floated from table to table with smiled offering coffee refills while listening to requests. They have a very impressive menu and special menu. I was happy to see grits as an option so I went with the Greek omelet plus grits. Oh wow that egg concoction was loaded with veggies and feta that melted in. The grits were amazing and I was happy. The price is a tad bit higher than other locations but I was happy! I wish I had had the time to savor it all. And, a tempting array of cakes by the entrance!!

Top notch service, best food that is extremely fresh and perfectly prepared! Theres not a restaurant around that can top the quality of this restaurant! Every item is perfectly cooked and prepared with a dedication to detail and care for the quality of every item. The coffee is so delicious and brewed to perfection! Theres not an entree that leaves the kitchen that isnt prepared to perfection. I cant say enough how fantastic this restaurant is! Theres a vibe of community in the atmosphere of the dining room. A truly satisfying experience with each visit. The pastry case has the freshest and delicious cakes, and pies. That coconut cake is feathery light and beyond delicious! Every item is super fresh! 10/10!!!

Delicious meals with generous portions at reasonable prices with a family-like ambience. Highly recommended if you want to meet up for lunch with friends, family, or a quick meal with your loved one. The service comes with an enthusiasm and a smile.

Fireside has quickly become one of FAVORITE local breakfast spots. The service every single time we have visited has been great. We have never had to wait, even when the place is packed. On our most recent visit I tried the cheesesteak Benedict and we got the caramel pecan cheesecake crepes to share. They have so many unique breakfast options and everything is always so delicious. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is that the ambience is kind of like a big room and the parking can be awkward, although plentiful.

Stopped by for brunch and was pleased with the outcome. Picture not shown was the French onion soup which was very good and not too salty. I enjoyed the Buffalo Chicken wrap which was full of chicken. The breakfast was also tasty. Service was good.

Great food cozy atmosphere. This cozy restaurant is a diamond in the rough. Friendly staff in a cozy atmosphere with fireside tables. The breakfast menu included a vast selection of meals for a very reasonable price. I ordered the pecan pancakes short stack with a side of sausage. The portion size was enough for two. The pancakes were crispy in the outside while still remaining light and fluffy and were served with real maple syrup. The sausage was big and juicy. We had a fireside table which made for an intimate feeling. They had a daily special board with a several selections of chef's specials which looked enticing. I will definitely be back and would love to try their dinner selection as that looked just as good.

The outside seating area is very cute, and who doesn't love to sit outside? But the inside is perfect! Absolutely a vibe! Every employee we encountered went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Even realizing on their own that the air was blowing directly on us and taking it upon themselves to change the flow and make sure we were comfortable. Everything coordinates in a modern, farmhouse flair, down to the silverware and cloth napkins. Love the dish ware as well! I was the only one to have a beverage. I got a peach iced chai tea and it was sweet, but delicious. Perfect for a warm day! We then had breakfast, two blueberry pancakes that were so thick, they looked like a layer cake. They were topped with fresh blueberries, lemon zest, and lemon icing. Very good! My daughter had the peach, crème brûlée French toast. If you have a sweet tooth, you must try it! It was absurdly good! Soft. With a crispy creme brûlée crust. We also shared an order of potatoes that I'm unsure if they were actually made in house. But. They were very tasty all the same. As anticipated, this isn't priced at a diner budget. Our meal was $55 without tip. Just for 2 items, 1 side, and 1 drink. A little much. But the food was fresh and very tasty, the service was awesome, and the ambiance was on point. Will definitely return soon!

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere stood out right away. It's warm, inviting, and has that perfect balance of cozy and thoughtfully curated. You can tell a lot of intention went into creating the space--it just feels good to be there. The food was excellent. Everything tasted fresh, well-prepared, and clearly made with quality ingredients. You can tell this isn't just thrown together--it's food made with care. What really made the experience, though, was the service. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. That kind of hospitality is hard to find and makes a huge difference. Overall, this place exceeded expectations in every category--food, service, and atmosphere. We will 100% be back and would absolutely recommend giving it a try. Definitely deserves a higher rating than what it currently has.

Mother's Day brunch at Sabrina's Café with my beautiful daughter We made sure to get there early…read morebecause if you know anything about this neighborhood gem, you know they don't take reservations. This wasn't my first time at Sabrina's, so I already knew the service would probably be a little different with the Mother's Day rush -- and understandably so. Overall, the food was still good! We started with their Blueberry Lavender Lemonade, made with blueberry and lavender, then garnished with fresh blueberries and lemon. It was so refreshing and honestly one of my favorite parts of the meal. For our entrées, I ordered the Shrimp & Grits and added salmon, while my daughter got the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl. For appetizers, we tried one of their "Heated Rivalry" May specials: Shane Hollander's Jambalaya Benedict. It came with shredded potato waffles, two poached eggs, fried shrimp, Creole sauce, smoked beef andouille sausage, pico de gallo, and green onions. Now listen... it looked AMAZING on the menu and had so much potential, but the taste was a little underwhelming for me. The dish came out room temperature, almost like it had been sitting for a while, and I really think it would've hit differently if it had been served hot -- especially the potato waffles. Still, I understand they were extremely busy and trying to accommodate everyone during the holiday rush. Sabrina's is definitely still a local favorite that I'll continue to support. Overall rating for this visit: 8/10

My young son really enjoyed this. The fried buttermilk chicken was so on point that we ordered a second one as a side dish. Likewise the buttermilk chicken sandwich was great. I added bacon which was a good call. I would have liked the bacon a bit crispier and I think raw spinach rather than sautéd spinach would have helped the chicken stay crispier. We also order pancakes. The pancakes were super big. I'm talking dinner plate big. Unfortunately the taste did not live up to the big size. The texture was off putting and the flavor was strange. As for ambiance, it can get a bit loud since it is essentially and empty room with only a little decoration. They do have a small outside eating area which was quieter and could be quite nice on a day with comfy temperatures. All in all it was a good experience and we would go back again.

The bad: both appetizers I ordered were disgustingly underwhelming. The cheesesteak fries were just bland and flavorless piled high with dry meat and cold cheese ... a waste of calories and money. The chicken tenders were flavored horribly and paired with a weird sauce. Im guessing if you're drunk you won't notice the terrible food. The waiter was nice but not attentive, he didn't notice I didn't eat anything and he didn't offer to replace or remove the items from the bill. I would suggest they limit the menu to less items that they can prepare well. If you enjoy drinks and bar food give it a try. Me Ill just stick with Lascalas across the street.

Do you know that feeling when you start anticipating an experience before you get there?…read more Well this morning I was imagining a crusty chewy onion bagel with veggie cream cheese that provided a perfect flavor match perhaps with some veggie snap amidst the velvety cream cheese. Mmmm couldn't wait Well my dreams fell flat ... totally ... First no onion bagels so I ordered a poppy seed. Second it was the most abysmal looking poppy seed bagel almost absent of poppyseeds. I am looking at my uneaten half and counting seeds ... 1, 2,3 ... NINETEEN totals poppy seeds on half the bagel. Third, the bagel's surface was let's say "flexible" to the touch. Yea ... no bagel crunch to the bite almost soft but still bagelish chewy. But, I did order a poppyseed bagel, right? Fourth, that "veggie cream cheese" had a rather unique taste with absolutely no crisp veggies in the mix just a collection of veggies colorful specks that hinted at the original source. Do they use dehydrated veggies dust to create their Veggie Cream Cheese? Truly a mystery and about a quarter of my bagel ended up in the trash. Don't sit near the door on a cold day because you will sense the outdoors. I will take the blame for this one since I chose my table but I needed the space. The coffee was good ... service friendly and prompt ... and they were busy, which means people not resembling me like their "bagels." So two stars for what I was missing.
