On Christmas 24th of midnight, my father gave my mom the gift but turned out that the ring is not her size. On 26th, me, my parents and my sister went to the store to change the item. It's because my mom would rather get a much more bigger piece. We were helped by two sales lady - both Filipino. They were very eager to help and cheerful, everything was great until they asked if they can use my US phone number since they said my father doesn't have it. The reason they gave us is that because there was a difference on the price and they need to make an account. Which I asked what kind of account? Since if they were able to help my father, then he should have one already. Moving on... I told them that they can use my mom's since she has the US phone number. Until Grace the employee said something about "checking my mom's credit if she can be prequalified". I then asked if it's a credit card that they need to open? Because we don't want to open any credit card at all. She proceeded on asking my mom's last four digits of social security. I asked if it's gonna pull her credit if she does that? And she said that it won't as long as they don't confirm the application. I halted because I have been in a banking industry and knows how credit works. I told her I have worked in a bank before to make her known that I do have knowledge. She asked strongly, "Which bank?" Thinking maybe that I'm just putting up front. I shrugged it off saying that I AM infact in charge of all my father's monthly payments and I have to know everything about this transactions. Because never did they mention any other form of payments. That's when the other employee- which I didn't get the name said that my father was approved for a credit and that he has the choice whether he will pay it or not. Which I said, of course he has to pay it! They were like "well we won't really go after him, it's just that his credit might go bad" and Grace said "we (pointed at my father) already talked about it. I was dumbfounded. This is a scam! I was so mad. I told my mom and my father to just leave because I have to talk to these two employees. Like I really want to know what's happening because I am so confused. So, when my parents left. I asked them if my father paid them in full? They said no, that he applied for a credit and that's gonna be a monthly payment with no interest at all OR he can have a choice of not paying it. It's just that his credit might go bad. YES. They'll sell you and they won't care if they ruin your credit because of a false pretense. That's how bad this store is. I won't get in full details but this is how they trick the people that go in there store. THEY ARE SCAMMING PEOPLE. MOST ESPECIALLY ELDERS. She would inform me that resizing my ring wasn't possible since it is made out of Tungsten (it's virtually indestructible). However, she took my ring size and helped me pick out the correct band by finding out I needed to move down half a size. I had to come in a few times because the ring I chose was still too big. This was my mistake for not bringing the original ring to compare. Despite my shortcomings, Fauzia was still very accommodating and understanding as she showed persistence in helping me find the correct ring.
