My first time ever purchasing something from Pandora and my experience was beyond incredible. Chantel is extremely knowledgeable, personable and her energy is so positive. I came in just looking and left with two ring sets, a necklace and earrings. She educated me on jewelry care and explained in depth the differences between all the Jewelry types-gold, plated, shine, rose gold, silver. She is confident and knows what she is talking about. I highly recommend working with her and would come back just for her. Being someone who has worked in sales, I appreciate the way she takes time with her customers and makes suggestions based upon what she thinks the customer will like. I am beyond impressed with not only her personality but her genuine sales skills. Keep her around and promote her! She's the best!

I'm seeing a lot of reviews poor customer service but not sure why. When I was down in California they helped me pick a few gifts to take back, and explained to me that I could get a tax adjustment when I get home at one of the local Pandora stores since the tax rate was higher there. They had a nice selection of charms, necklaces, and bracelets. I ended up purchasing some rose gold rings for my mom and some aunts. It's nice that the place is connected to a mall that stretches out. When I got home the recipients were very pleased with what was brought to them and thanked me for the gifts. I would not mind checking the place out again if I went back to California some time soon.

    Perfect!

TLDR: don't trust this place with your precious jewelry…read more I had a ring band repaired here last year and it went fine. No issues. Recently, on my second visit to Curated LA, I brought my antique wedding ring in to have it resized. It is a Victorian era ring (very old but well maintained). They said it would be ready in a few days. The next week I reached out to see if it was ready and they said that the prongs needed to be secured, which would cost an additional amount. I agreed and they said they were working on it that day. 3 days later I checked in to see if it was ready for pick up. She said they were still working on it and she'd contact me the following week. The following week she said they were still working on it. It was finally ready 2 weeks after I'd originally brought it in. She said it looked like new. When I picked it up we were heading out of town to evacuate the Palisades fire so I was in a rush, but quickly thereafter noticed the prongs looked misshapen and it was snagging on things. I was planning on bringing it back in when we got back to town. Before I had the chance to a small diamond fell out. I messaged Curated LA that a stone had fallen out and I was very upset - they had just adjusted the prongs (which I hadn't even brought the ring in for). I was told to bring the ring in to have them look at it. No apology. Also no apology for the delay on getting it back to me in the first place. When I voiced frustration she said that they do so many repairs each week she can't keep track, my ring wasn't in good condition, and that stones fall out all of the time - from new rings and vintage ones alike. Regardless, I am not bringing my ring back to Curated LA. It is not about the money (the repairs didn't cost much). They never offered to refund it or to replace the missing stone. I'm bringing it to a jeweler that has a workshop in house and does it themselves rather than outsourcing it. Don't trust your valued jewelry for repairs with this shop.

TL;DR - L'Oliphant sold us a FAKE men's wedding band that was listed as 14KT solid white gold (for…read more$1,000!). We found out AFTER our wedding that it was some alloy of iron and nickel covered in gold. When we went to the shop, BJ didn't take any responsibility. After my husband pressured her she did eventually refund us for the original amount. However, we still suffered losses paying for the ring authentication AND the increase in gold price from last year. Oh and now we know we had a FAKE ring in our wedding and all of the photos for the rest of our lives. You can see in my Yelp history that I normally avoid writing reviews like this, as I understand how bad reviews can impact certain businesses. I already know that the owner BJ is going to write and deny all of this but I feel that I'm truly doing the public a disservice by not saying anything because we got scammed. The only thing that would have prevented me from leaving this review is if she took FULL responsibility and went above and beyond to make it right. Clearly, we are all reading my review right now so she did NOT make it right or even take an inkling of responsibility. We were recommended L'Oliphant's services for custom engagement and wedding bands. The entire process took a few weeks in 2024. The process was not as smooth as I would have preferred - their receipt system is absolutely a mess, and we had to drive across town numerous times for appointments or to review designs in person. What really was the kicker - we purchased a men's white gold wedding band and we were assured it was solid gold. Priced at $1000. When we received it, it had an imperfection on it that we pointed out several times to BJ but she kept insisting that it was just an issue with the casting and refused to fix it. Anyways, we were sick and tired of driving all the way across town every week so we just accepted it and assumed we could polish out the imperfection later. Because how were we supposed to know? A few months after our wedding, we took a necklace to a different jeweler down the street for some work. Asked him if he could polish the imperfection on the ring. Immediately he knew it wasn't solid gold. Showed us on the microscope - the imperfection was actually a CHIP in the top layer of gold and there was some non gold metal underneath. He also did a scratch test for us to show that the metal underneath was not gold. I've attached a photo of the imperfection under the microscope and you can clearly see, it is not gold underneath. We called L'Oliphant to ask them, Christina picked up the phone and was very kind and assured us they would make it right but that we could take it to an independent coin shop that does gold scanning to be sure. We followed her recommendation and paid $50 for the written report. The gold shop scanned the ring right in front of us where the imperfection was and showed us that it had nickel and iron in it. No gold ring should have nickel or iron, and the shop owners actually told us that they wouldn't even buy that kind of ring because the gold layer on top is essentially worthless due to the alloy content inside. This gold shop is a highly reputable business with 500+ Yelp reviews and a 4.8 star rating - so we have no reason not to believe them. I've attached a video of the scan (sped up, as Yelp does not allow videos over 30s). When we brought the scan proof and ring back to L'Oliphant, BJ took zero responsibility and immediately denied everything, stating that "other jewelers have it out for us here" and that "some people put acid on their jewelry" and also that "the scanner may not have been calibrated correctly" so she needed to test it herself. She took out a literal magnet and showed us that it did not stick to the ring. Amazing. I asked if she had her scanner or even some microscope to look at it in store and she said no, that she'd have to take the ring and scan it within the next two weeks. My husband pushed her to refund us the original amount, which she did, but that was the BARE MINIMUM in making this right for us. BJ took the ring and told us she would test the ring HERSELF. This is the only test we've had without transparency where we won't be able to see the results with our eyes. To add insult to injury - she had one of her shop associates call us to tell us a week later that, miraculously, the ring is solid gold based on her tests. I already know she will respond to my review denying this - she can deny all she wants but we took the ring and had it verified by TWO independent sources and both sources confirmed it was not solid gold. The worst part was - the imperfection on the ring was already there the day we bought it. It never should have been sold to us like that, but I'm truly grateful it was there, as we probably would not have found out that the ring was fake until years later. I would not recommend doing business with L'Oliphant.

This was our second appointment, and we expected the level of care and professionalism that should come with such an important purchase. Instead, Kathryn repeatedly referred to my fiancée by the wrong name in multiple follow-up emails, even after spending more than an hour with us in person. After the fourth incorrect email, I responded with the correct name and explained that the repeated mistake was disrespectful. My fiancée was copied on that message because she was understandably offended. Kathryn then replied only to me and omitted my fiancée from the response, which made the situation feel even more dismissive and deliberate. During the appointment, Kathryn also repeatedly emphasized the customer service survey and mentioned that she was not paid commission. That stood out for the wrong reasons. A positive customer experience should lead to a good survey response naturally; customers should not feel pressured about a survey while basic professionalism is lacking. Whether this was intentional or the result of a severe lack of attention to detail, the conduct was egregious and unacceptable. If a salesperson cannot correctly use a customer's name, include the appropriate person in an email, or handle a concern professionally, I cannot trust that a major ring purchase would be handled with the care and accuracy it requires. This experience caused us to lose confidence in the store, and I would strongly caution others before making an important purchase here.
