I spoke with an associate named Beatrice, who informed me that she would not be able to assist because she did not consider the issue a manufacturing defect. I then contacted customer service, and a representative confirmed that my bracelet should be eligible for replacement since it is within the one-year purchase window and I have my receipt. After receiving this clarification, I returned to the store and spoke with another associate, Isis, who stated that my bracelet was not broken but rather "snagged," which they considered not a form of breakage and does not qualify for replacement. Given the conflicting information, I visited the Century City Mall Pandora store, where I spoke with Assistant Manager Josh. He reviewed my situation and confirmed that the bracelet could indeed be replaced without issue. This experience was frustrating, as I had to drive over an hour to the Santa Monica store, only to be denied service, and then another 30 minutes to a different location where I ultimately received the correct assistance. My fiancé purchased a bracelet for me from this store not even two years ago and it broke twice, the second time it fell off of my wrist in a train station. Now it can't be replaced, as it is "lost" due to the incredibly poor craftsmanship. I've had department costume jewelry last way longer. Really kind of torn here. The customer service is really good and they don't hurry you in any way shape or form. The primary issue here is they allow one customer per associate. I guess to clarify, a couple can go to one associate, they just won't let you in the store to look if you can't be paired with somebody that is working there. So, the line was short (length) and ridiculous long (wait time). I'd really like to see them do something else for their customers so the wait isn't so long. I guess the option is don't go, but if you are visiting the area and this is your only chance to come by here, then you either have to wait it out or just skip. The two people in the store ahead of us took between 45 minutes and an hour to make a selection. Just was kind of ridiculous. The store itself is clean and the staff were friendly, maybe too friendly. Maybe they need to try to implement a time limit if people are waiting to come in? If you've been in one Pandora then you've kind of been in all of them. They have build your own bracelets with all sorts of stuff you can add to them. Prices range from quite affordable to pretty spendy $$. Not sure that we would be a rush to go back into this location if they are still having the extreme limitations for # of shoppers allowed in the store. Just takes too long when you have other stuff you are trying to fit into the day. read more

Came here with my wife and two kids. I saw the 2 person limit sign so I asked to double check if that applied to kids as well. Unfortunately I had to wait outside with my kids while my wife went in to pick something out. While I'm waiting, a couple shows up with their kid and I expected that one of the adults would have to stay outside with the kid but no, she lets all three in. At this point I confront her and say it's not fair that I have to stay out here with my kids while this family of three gets to go in. She gives me some kind of non-sensical answer and then says, "OK you can go in too". Right. A person who is in charge of this type of thing needs training. Did she not think I would notice? At the very least she should be aware of what she did and at least acknowledge the perceived unfair treatment. Instead she just remains quiet hoping it will go away. The person helping my wife saw the whole confrontation and asked us to come I but at that point I'm throughly pissed off. I'm kind of glad they pissed me off. Their "plated jewelry" is worthless in the long run. I went over to Tiffany's next store and was treated like a king and bought jewelry that will forever be worth the investment. read more

My first time ever purchasing something from Pandora and my experience was beyond incredible. Chantel is extremely knowledgeable, personable and her energy is so positive. I came in just looking and left with two ring sets, a necklace and earrings. She educated me on jewelry care and explained in depth the differences between all the Jewelry types-gold, plated, shine, rose gold, silver. She is confident and knows what she is talking about. I highly recommend working with her and would come back just for her. Being someone who has worked in sales, I appreciate the way she takes time with her customers and makes suggestions based upon what she thinks the customer will like. My boyfriend and I went to this store today (4/2/2023) at 6:30pm and there was a female seller who made us feel very offended. I barely leave a review for any place I went but this time I left this store with a very disappointing experience of customer service. i dont know if the store manager actually cares about reviews or not (if they do their customer service wont be this bad) but I want to leave this here so the future customers can have a head-up. We got into the store and she greeted us like usual and we started to browse the rings collection they had. I know she has to push sales so she tried to convince us with their new diamond collection, despite I already told her I just wanted a simple ring to add to my accessory collection because I want to change styles usually. Right when my bf turned away to browse other collections, she whispered to me "Get something expensive". After we got to decide between the 2 rings that i liked, my bf helped me pick one of them, she said to us "Yes i know you will get your lady the cheaper one". I'm seeing a lot of reviews poor customer service but not sure why. When I was down in California they helped me pick a few gifts to take back, and explained to me that I could get a tax adjustment when I get home at one of the local Pandora stores since the tax rate was higher there. They had a nice selection of charms, necklaces, and bracelets. I ended up purchasing some rose gold rings for my mom and some aunts. It's nice that the place is connected to a mall that stretches out. When I got home the recipients were very pleased with what was brought to them and thanked me for the gifts. I would not mind checking the place out again if I went back to California some time soon. read more

Came here on a Thursday at 5pm, got in line (only one person ahead of me) thinking this would be a quick in and out situation (I already knew what I wanted). It's been 45 minutes and I'm still in line. The attendant out front is friendly and polite, apologizing for the delay (thank you) but that doesn't change the fact that I waited almost an hour with only one person ahead of me? I was let in and there was no one available to help me. Both employees looked at me multiple times and could not even say "hello" let alone, "sorry for the wait." Super busy when we came in on Saturday afternoon. They had probably around 6 or 7 employees, and I think there's only one main register, so they had to pile against each other to get to the main register (which is also a terminal for them to get on the internet and let customers see other designs/options). Regardless, we walked in, was noticed fairly quickly, and the young lady helped us out. The bf bought for me one of the fairy tale carriage charms and the jewelry box. Typically, each charm is around $50-65, but, because the carriage had 14k gold and a pearl, it got hiked to $90, which we bawked for a little bit. I mean, it's a pretty charm, and it will have sentimental meaning to us, but, yikes...$90? He also got me a nice jewelry Pandora-ized box that has compartments for the bracelets and small charms, which was $50. Overall, may be back, as it's a store that is catering strictly to Pandora items. You can probably also find Ben Bridges that would sell the Pandora items, but it's so much harder to grab their attention in those stores because Pandora charms seem like small money to them when they can sell Tag Heuer watches and Rolexes. This Pandora is a bit far from where we live, so it won't be something that we'll purposely drive to. read more

Then, all of a sudden I hear a loud "Excuse me!" behind me with a loud thump noise. I came to this store to buy my first Pandora bracelet about a month ago. When I walked in, the employees were very welcoming and greeted me with a smile. Taylor was the one who assisted me in purchasing my first bracelet. He just started working there at that time, but he was still very knowledgeable with all the products and I had a very pleasant experience. There are so many charms to choose from, I spent about an hour there trying to pick and choose which charm I wanted. About a week or so later, I came in to have my bracelet cleaned, which is great that they offer complimentary cleaning. I ended up purchasing another charm. I just went in to look around the other day, Taylor and Dakota both greeted me with a smile and were very welcoming. I ended up purchasing a charm and a bangle bracelet. This store is the best. The employees are very warm, friendly, easy going and they all appear to love what they do. We bought an item at another location and wanted to see if there was a defect with it. We told the girl up front all we wanted was it cleaned, if it was defective we would take it to the original store and exchange it there. She said due to a promotion they were running she couldn't take the minute to clean it. To come back during the week. 500th YELP REVIEW! I haven't been writing as many reviews as usual over the past few months, so I tried to think back over stores or restaurants I'd meant to review but put off. To mark this momentous occasion (well, as momentous an occasion as anything which brings with it no money or tangible reward), I decided to write a review of a store I love and visited on my first trip to the "new" Santa Monica Place. The Santa Barbara Pandora in Paseo Nuevo closed a few months ago. The surprise isn't that it closed, but that it hung on as long as it did in that enormous space with astronomical commercial rent. I was out of town when it happened, though, so it was a shock to go in for a polishing cloth and find the store vacant. That I refer to the Santa Monica Place as "new" is only slightly less amusing than my recent reference to the Westfield Century City mall as "new." But I'm 42 and and remember not only the old Santa Monica Place but the Santa Monica Mall pre-Third Street Promenade, which was just a few blocks from my elementary school. I'm not sure when Bloomingdale's became the anchor of the Santa Monica Place, but it has to have been in the mid 2000s. I mostly shop secondhand, so I have no reason to go to a retail mall, even if it's outdoor and upscale, unless there is a movie theater. I'm told a few screens are going in soon, which is nice because the beloved Laemmle is currently closed (formerly Monica 1 2 3), where I saw almost every foreign film and documentary as a teen and young adult. This Pandora is tiny. It reminded me of the Westport, CT location, which is more like someone's small living room in a one-bedroom apartment than a store. The service is typically excellent. Women who work at Pandora love and wear the jewelry and if your only association with Pandora is charm bracelets, you need to go in and see all their new (and more expensive lines). The yellow gold line is substantial and elegant, but the bracelet starts at 1500 and with charms at a couple hundred apiece, it is in no sense "costume." Pandora introduced a a new bracelet line a year or so ago, which slightly less money than the original. It has smaller charms which are both delicate and different enough from the first line to justify starting a second charm collection. My boyfriend has been buying me earrings and pendants from Pandora for four years. I love mixing Pandora with pieces from Diamond Nexus (simulants and synthetics in white gold which cannot be distinguished from mined diamonds except with goggles). They have some new earring hooks as well. I went in for cloths and came out with a new pair of hooks with a tiny stone for just 15 dollars. Next to the store is a big sign for Uni Glo, a line of clothing I'd never heard of until my friend's 7-year-old model son did a shoot for them. I showed the ladies pictures and they positively gasped (he's a beautiful boy who just finished his first big show: the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular). The bracelet was filthy so I hung out for 20 or 30 minutes. The women were bright, articulate and professional. A pleasure to talk to, just like the gals working at Santa Barbara. But one had a British accent and a Cartier watch. My guess is that she won't be there long. As for the mall, I never bothered to look up pictures online and was stunned by how classy and tasteful it is. I'm not anti-development when it comes to housing, and I'm certainly not one of those low-growth freaks obsessed with height requirements and zoning regulations which put butterflies ahead of human beings (this describes the SB powers that be). But I also hate to see my childhood home destroyed by new development that annihilates all character. I don't know who built the Santa Monica Place but I wish they were in charge of the future destruction of Pacific Palisades, instead of the evil billionaire Rick Caruso. I don't see why anything drastic must be done to the Palisades, but if something must change, it would be nice to have people with taste and judgment. Rick Caruso only has taste when it comes to his Brentwood mansion or when he thinks it profitable (Glendale's Americana was a success but as I've written before, it was Glendale and could only improve.). My mom got me a bracelet here for Christmas, unfortunately one morning it and all of its charms fell to the ground as I was opening the door. I was told that here is a one year warranty on the bracelet and its charms, so headed to my closest pandora. I was asked for my receipt and without an issue my bracelet was replaced. It took a total of 5 minutes and no one gave me attitude or any snazzy looks. It's nice to know that even though there may be a defect now and then, they are here to solve the issue in a professional matter. Pandora, located in Santa Monica, has inferior customer service. This review is for the lady in her mid 30's who works in this location. I came into the store wanting to exchange my ring size. I order online for a bigger size. Since the ring was a gift from my partner, I had a gift receipt to exchange. The lady had approached me and saw I came in with two rings. I explained that I was only coming in to exchange for a bigger size, but she decided to bring her catalog of rings to show me necklaces, bracelets, etc. I didn't want to be rude, so I listened. I respectfully asked her if I can just get a size exchange, and she began to bring a tray of new rings and to promote it. I started to get irritated because she kept going on and on and on, and I just wanted to exchange my ring for a different size, and spend almost twenty minutes talking to this lady. She needs to hear customers' needs instead of selling me something I am not looking to buy. She kept pushing and insisting and she notice i got irritated too. I had such a bad day today so I decided to go to Santa Monica to relax. I walked into Pandora just wanting to see what's new. I was instantly greeted with the biggest smile and welcoming voice of Julie. It was 15 minutes to close and she was so sweet. She noticed I was looking at the rings and said "don't worry if you think it's late we are here for you" . That was beyond my expectations . She showed me beautiful display of rings all in my size. I couldn't believe the options. She explained the rings and answered my questions and made me laugh. So within such a short time she made me feel welcomed, happy and special. She is a gem of an employee. I walked in to look and in the end I bought two amazing rings and a cleaning cloth. But the best part was after such a hard day Julie made me laugh and smile. This my first Yelp review, but I honestly think it's necessary. First of all, if you enter this store, be aware they are ready to sell something to you, they will strategize in any way to try to get you to buy something. I recently bought some earrings there, but I decided to return them because I was unsure of them. When I returned back, the lady who assisted me when I first bought them was extremely rude. I'm not sure if they get commission or not but seems like they do because as soon as she saw in the receipt that she was the one who sold them to me, she was very cold. Then she had the nerve to say it's very "unsanitary" to accept returned earrings. I literally bought these about two days ago, unworn, but the fact that she implied I wasn't sanitary truly upset me. It clearly states in the receipt of the customer is not satisfied with their purchase they are able for a full refund within the 14 days. I never plan to support Pandora again if employees who are that mean are the ones to represent them. read more

I had a HORRIBLE customer experience with Pandora at this location. I have a bracelet w sentimental value that my husband gifted me for Christmas a few days after I gave birth. Unfortunately the two balls fastened at the ends of the bracelet fell off one after the other. I went to one location and they told me they do not sell the individual balls so I called the corporate phone number. I spoke to someone who told me I may exchange the bracelet for another w proof of purchase since it has been under a year at one of the corporate locations. She gave me the address and phone number of the Santa Monica location. I called before going in the ensure that they would be able to exchange the bracelet, as I live an hour away. I spoke to a woman and told her the situation. She asked me for the number on the side of the bracelet, told me they had it in stock, and assured me that I would be able to exchange it. I told her that I wouldn't be able to come in until Saturday as I work during the week. She said no worries I will write your name down so they are expecting you. I spent an hour in traffic to get to the location, pay for parking etc, and when I arrive I am interrogated for 5 minutes at the entrance at which point the coworker got involved and says "I remember speaking to you, you called a long time ago". I know in fact I didn't speak to this woman as the person on the phone didn't have an accent. I mentioned I called a few days ago and spoke to someone who told me I could come in and exchange the bracelet. I did not take her name down as I didn't expect I would be interrogated at the location. She spent another 5 minutes repeatedly asking me the same questions: who did I speak to, do I know their name, where are the balls on my bracelet where did I put them (I told her multiple times they fell off when I was wearing it). I feel like I was being treated like a thief who wanted a free bracelet. The woman took down my phone number and said she would speak to the others and get back to me. I expressed my frustration as I had to drive an hour to get there after being reassured that I would be able to make the exchange. That's when the woman was like okay no exchange for you! Absolutely the worst customer service experience I have ever had, and has really turned me off to the Pandora brand. read more

Went into the Santa Monica store to buy my daughter a graduation charm. I had heard that they now clean your bracelet and charms for free so I brought my daughter's bracelet with me. We have spent hundreds of dollars filling the bracelet with Pandora charms. The sales person immediately said they could only clean charms that had not been expired. I said what does that mean? they are your charms." It made me feel like they did not back their product and they charge a lot for each charm. Her explanation was that if something happened to them they couldn't replace it. So they cleaned the bracelet and 3 charms of 18! Really made me feel like they don't trust their own product to clean it. It think that will be the last charm I will buy. read more
