Actually, my mother-in-law remembered when the owners had a business in Pearl Kai then Chinatown. One thing she said was the owners were really friendly...and she was right. I finally had the chance to have Brenda evaluate a diamond I have had for many years. I had found…read moreout previously from another appraiser that the diamond I had on my ring was not the same diamond stated on the receipt from a reputable jeweler. Brenda took the time to educate me about my diamond as she is a very knowledgeable and very reputable gemologist in the State. I came to find out that the diamond I actually have is better quality and valued better. She showed me different aspects of looking at a diamond and how to tell if its man made, natural, etc. I have worked in high end jewelery before but this is nothing compared to what she knows having been in the business for years (I told her she has lineage in diamonds) I would highly recommend her as an appraiser if you have jewelry. She was a wealth of knowledge and very pleasant to work with. I've already gone back to her a second time to have some more items appraised and highly recommend her to anyone needing appraisals. She is able to appraise a wide range of objects in addition to jewelry. She can also design custom jewelry and has wonderful ideas for uniquely detailed pieces.
