Very busy Panera, we ordered by app and had a :26 min. wait. There were crowds in the back waiting for their pickup. Glad there were 6 clean shady outdoor tables. Ordered an Asian chicken salad was as okay, crunchy almond slivers & noodles. Dressing wasn't flavorful & chicken was sliced chicken roll not the usual grilled breast meat.

The people are very nice , but I'm disappointed in the food. I get 2 slices of chicken , no apple chips and the hardest piece of bread in the world. They gave me a spoon to eat my salad togo .... !

Gosh it was so good. The only thing that sucks are the prices. If they did some type of cheaper 'dollar menu' type thing, there would be more people who stop for lunch. I am a huge Panera fan as far as everything they offer. I always feel so good after eating there and not weighed down or too full. Their Mac and cheese it to die for. This time I did a pick 2. Mac and cheese and a half of salad and a water for 13$.....the only reason for a 4 and not a 5 star. I really liked the arugula salad. The first time I've ever had a salad with grapes in it and I actually liked it. That's really big for me. I wish the water cups would be bigger.

It looks that this place just upgraded to iPads to have faster and easier ordering. However, staff has no clue how to make customized salad or even sandwich. Heads up lines are way too long to ask corrections or even ask for refund cause you didn't get what you ordered. All Panera Cesar salads come with croutons except this place forgot on both of our salads. Plus they simply disregarded most of the extra items. Staff needs serious training in this location. Over all: Food freshness 9/10 Clean 8/10 Speed 7/10 Friendly staff 8/10 Order accuracy 1/10

Staff was friendly but the order screens are confusing AF, and staff are confused by them as well... Also 6$ for half a sandwich that is 3/4 bread... sure it tasted good after I had a sore jaw from chewing through it all. As always good food, but dang... I just expect better for the $$$.

Had to wait 15 minutes for my order, which it turned out, was sitting in a takeout bag for ten minutes. My name not called. Not very well run and the noodles arent that good. disappointing visit. Do not order the roasted veg sandwich here. It had cucumber, lettuce, red pepper and a few flakes of feta cheese. The tomato soup was good.

Mediterranean Salad. Where did olives go? They also forgot quinoa (3/5)

Panera is a nice addition to Altoona restaurants. The food is very good and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

Horrible service. I got a horrible looking bacon turkey bravo. Never coming here ever again and I wouldn't recommend anybody to come here.

Back in my delivery days, I was always impressed with the freshness and variety of ingredients,…read moretoppings & dressings. The service also was always super-friendly and speedy. Today was the first time I finally got to try their salad myself: got my "Own It" bowl for lunch, and it was just about as good as I'd expected. Everything was fresh (no slimy lettuce or brown avocado or other icky stuff), the portion is *ginormous*, i.e. could easily feed two adults for lunch, and the dressing tasty. My only criticisms would be that the 'roasted corn' was decidedly not - just your regular ole corn, and the kale needs to be treated to a spa day or at least a massage. It was like chewing lawn trimmings. However, those are two minor issues that won't prevent me from getting another salad in the future (minus the lawn trimmings, perhaps), as there are several other combos & dressings waiting to be tasted. Definitely recommended if ya like yer salad ;-)

Fiddlehead offers salads and grain bowls. It's in a great location on College Ave. near the State…read moreTheatre and Snap Pizza. The salads are huge and if you finish one you're stuffed. I typically opt for the "Backyard BBQ" chicken salad and it's delicous. They have several other pre determined options or you can build your own. They also allow substitutions of their ingredients. I've never tried the grain bowls here as I believe that's a fairly new addition to their menu. The restaurant is small with some outside seating but ambiance is limited -- more of an eat and go kind of spot. Pricing is comparable to Mezeh, Roots, Playa bowls and other similar "healthy" options. Most menu items range from $12-14/each.

Great food, service, and drinks. Stopped for lunch and it was so filling we didn't need to eat…read moredinner. FYI- We were informed that the restaurant will be moving to a new location in the near future. So check the website before you head out.

We were excited to try their new location to give their restaurant a try. We haven't been there for…read moreyears as their old location was not convenient for us. The new building is very nice inside, much better than their old place. We were greeted fairly quickly at the door, given our own silverware and menu and told to sit where we wanted. I did think in a nice looking restaurant like this they could have simply asked us where we wanted to sit and taken us to that area instead of relying on us for the set up. We brought wine as they are currently BYOB. We had to ask for a wine opener twice before getting one which didn't come to after our dinner was served. We ordered meals with salad which were suppose to come with pita bread. The waitress announced she forgot our bread with our salads and would bring with our main meal. Our main meals seemed to have some quality issues. My Gyro seemed like it needed more meat and cheese. My husbands meal with steak was very chewy. When my husband told the waitress he had an issue with his steak, she said, "it was chewy right?" It was very strange that they knew they were serving sub par steak, but choose to do so anyway. Overall I would say our experience was very disappointing especially considering others positive recommendations. Perhaps they are having growing pains in their new location. It didn't appear that anyone was "in charge" of the restaurant when we were there so perhaps having a more seasoned staff or owner on duty would help.
