Called Panera and spoke with either a manager or the person in charge of online ordering. They were extremely dismissive and rude. Refusing any accountability and putting all blame on Door Dash. Conflicted about the review. Because I like the store however I struggled with the new way to order. I just wanted 2 warm cookies. That is all people. They have a computer that you place your order from and pay before you walk up to the next room and pick it up. I struggled with the new computer orderingsystem. I also had to wait for some time to get someone to help me because they are under staffed. I did not like that. It was frustrating to me. Yes the new ordering system is a great way for all of our safety. It was intimidating and frustrating for me specially for the small order I was placing. The place was clean and they had what I was looking for. I came for the warm chocolate chip cookies. They are a good and one of my favorite thing here. Always my go to place for a nice and fresh lunch. Salads, soups and sandwiches are delicious. Great options, and my favorite one is the "you can pick two", that means half sandwich and soup, or soup and salad or sandwich and salad. They are offering flatbread now. I tried it yesterday and it was not so great. Hope they get better. Also, lots of cookies, bagels and breads. Cannot go wrong with any of those choices. Depending on the place you go, it might be cleaner than others. But in general, service is fast and very good. They also have self-ordering kiosks and pick-up to go if you order online. Another Saturday during Covid 19 lockdown running errands. Was hungry so I followed the Panera bread signs to this location right off Biscayne Boulevard heading North. Once I parked out front I gathered I had to either call in an order or put the app on the phone. So I try calling and I am put on hold for an eternity. At the same time while being on hold I add the app to my phone. Setup my account including payment and place an order. So next I hang up the phone as hell would freeze over before anyone was going to pickup. Next I wait until order is done I get out of the car get my order and go. Once home I attempt to eat the breakfast I ordered. Note app had limited selection of items. I had a cappuccino that was not great. Didn't detect a robust expresso used more like a cappuccino drink. The breakfast wrap was ordinary at best. This place has really fallen from the pedestal I put them on. In fact my disappointment was so great I even cancelled my corporate account with them as this is seriously overpriced food and drink which does not match the experience. I came in to study. The nose level was average. There were a good amount of people both in and outside; however, I was able to social distance and study. I was able to order my meal and retrieve it promptly. The only thing I'd recommend is for the cook to monitor the sodium level of the soup. This Panera isn't too far from me so it's a great place to go when you want something healthy and yummy. I would say some of the busier times you may have a bit of a wait (normal lunch rush 12-2pm and dinner rush 6:30-8pm) and can see everyone doing their homework or with their computer out. I like that you can sit outside and people watch- as it looks out onto the busy US 1 The staff is friendly and seems to enjoy working with each other. The broccoli cheddar never disappoints, and the Greek goddess salad is my favorite. I also really enjoy the smoked turkey, apple & cheddar sandwich. Again- great spot for quick, healthy food. If you want a quiet ambiance, come a little earlier in the day or not during the lunch/dinner rushes. Giving this a one star. We first called to see if they had dining and the message on the phone stated dining room open. Banner in front of store states dining room open. But after ordering you turn the corner and Dining room closed. Outside only! Then on top of it we waited well over 20 minutes to get the food, which was missing our salads. We pointed this out to the lady handing the bag out. She quickly had salads added and upon getting to somewhere we could eat it was 2 kids salads that were given. I understand that this is a stressful time for everyone but attention should be paid to people that actually came to dine at your establishment only to find out they could not and then have the order prepared wrong. Was excited to have my favorite panera salad, greek salad with chicken and asked for extra pepperoncinis. I've had problems at other Panera Breads where extra pepperoncinis seems to be a complicated request, but was happy to see that they got it at this location. 5 stars from the start, but then I realize I have no feta cheese on my salad.... That's a key ingredient for a greek salad and no reason at all to be missing. 5 to 4. Now comes the next problem. Not the end of the world, but when you see ingredients from other peoples orders in yours, it raises a little red flag. Today many have to be super cautious of food allergies and contamination. While it may not be as big of an issue for me, I know it is for my wife. We'd love nothing more then to enjoy the food we pay for and not have to look through everything to make sure it is safe. While I don't have a reaction to quinoa, I still would have been happier not having it in my salad and instead having a little feta cheese. For that, I give 3 stars. Today on my venture to Panera I decided to try something different than my usual. I ordered a Mediterranean and Quinoa Salad (half size). To my pleasant surprise it was very good. There was a great balance between the quinoa, salad dressing and salsa splashed on top. It was also adorned with cucumbers and almonds. The only down side is not meat comes in the salad. My husband ordered the Frontega Chicken Panini. The sauce, tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese was on point like always but it was lacking chicken. I used to love Panera because they have healthy options and yummy meals. You can always eat and work there for hours. But I've seen the company change from great to ok to "oh my" in the last few years. They now overprice everything on the menu. A "you pick two" meal used to be $7; now it's $10 or 11. I love their Turkey chili+Fuji apple chicken salad. I normally add chips. But if you do the baguette, that has changed too. It's much smaller for a bigger price. On top of all the price increase, they have now included the tip menu when paying at the cashier. So pay more on all accounts for less food. Well done, Panera! read more

So my friend Lala raved about how she loves Panera Bread and their sandwiches, lemonades etc. so before class we ran to get Panera for her babe to drop him lunch. Saw the flashy NEW chipotle avocado melt and thought ok I love chipotle and I freaking love me some avocado (being from the island and all) order quickly since the line was getting long; not that quickly because there's no such thing when it comes to two indecisive people. The menu had quite a bit of healthy options, quinoa salad, soups etc and healthy potato chips . So couple things here that I like; the refreshing flavor lemonades ARE TO DIE FOR!! I've never taste anything like them, orange Burst is not just a mixture of oranges it has other herbs inside. The next plus, you had to move down to the window pick up (open carry out area where you can see inside the kitchen and see how everyone is running around, getting orders yelled at them) there was one food runner and poor him he had more order waiting on the counter than he could actually run for. The waiting line to pick up your order got longer and our order seem to get pushed back. In my head, I'm thinking; ok this place must be really good, they're busy, the place looks clean, people are dining in. I'm sipping my lemonade chatting away with lala. The confusion and wait time kicked in because poor boy had all these food deliver and guess what he was trying to take care of people who were sitting in. Not knowing that some of us CAME FIRST. Finally grabbed my bag and had to rush out of there to go back to FIU and dropped lala boyfriend his food. Ugh I was better off at subway or chick-fil-a. Not only was my sandwich seriously melted and soggy. I picked it up and one side just feel open. To make matters worse, it didn't taste like any chipotle flavor seasoning and my avocados were rotten. I like to frequent this place when I usually need a calm environment to work on something or just relax. I've been coming here for almost 10 years now, the food is delicious and most of the employees maintain a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Service quality is above average. Although the café itself is generally clean, the bathrooms are often dirty and run-down. Hopefully that will get resolved sooner but other than that this place is definitely worth a shot if you're looking for a nice café. read more
