It's obvious there has been change happening here ~ it was nice to see a selection of bakery items still fresh and waiting even though it was 4:00 on a Saturday afternoon.  This store seemed much cleaner than on previous visits ~ and we were greeted by a very polite, caring server who seemed very happy to take our order.   The Homestyle Chicken Noodle soup tasted perfect ~ plenty of chicken, noodles, carrots... it really hit the spot.  The Mexican Street Corn Chowder soup was better than expected ~ the ingredients tasted fresh, plenty of potatoes, corn, spicy poblano peppers.  The turkey and cheddar sandwich was very good.  Everything you would expect on a well made sandwich ~ thickly sliced cheddar, sliced turkey, greens, tomatoes, garlic aioli.   Their prices seem a little on the high side but this always seems to be the case when choosing quality over quantity.

The food is always excellent... however the 2 chicken noodle soups were 1/2 full or less, the Mac & cheese was only half full, they forgot the croutons for the French onion soup (this happens almost every time i order this soup from Panera). As expensive as the food items are, it's even more disappointing that they don't even fill up the containers. We used to order much more frequently, but it's becoming less appealing each time we get food from here. Really disappointing!

Just wanted to say how much I appreciate the kindness that the manager Steven (?) showed me today 03/29/2020 during lunch time. I hurried in to grab lunch in between my shift at the hospital. And he was kind enough to put my meal on the house to thank the healthcare workers during this time with COVID. So thank you for making us feel appreciated when everyone else is quarantined at home. We essential workers are still front line trying to fight this.

It's nothing ritzy, just a food court-ish, seat yourself restaurant. I know this place isn't Google/Yelp famous or anything, but it tasted high quality for a modest reputation. The pho was comforting like a home-cooked meal! The broth was flavorful without being overly salty. Had that mild, sweet-ish umami flavor. I still needed to yank some meat off the chicken bones, but overall, it was tender and easy to eat. The waitress was also super nice. She didn't realize I wanted to eat in when I ordered, so I paid for takeout without tip. I tried to give her the tip in cash right away, but she insisted I at least enjoy the meal first. I told my friends about the place, since chicken pho isn't easy to come by. I'd try one of the chicken platters next.

The chicken is boiled/steamed so there isn't much flavor to it BUT the dipping sauce (salt, msg, fish sauce, lemon juice, pepper, and grounded pepper) add an explosive dimension to the chicken. Once I got seated our server offer free water, hot water, ice tea or hot tea. I got the chicken and rice while my partner got the pho ga (chicken pho) and a 1/4 chicken to share. The chicken and rice honestly reminds me to Hainanese chicken and rice but a bit more salty. The chicken and rice comes with a small bowl of soup. So rich in flavor! ** you do get chicken liver and blood as a side with the 1/4 chicken. Make sure to let your server know if that's not for you. It's a really nice quiet spot. Not flashy so it's easy to miss if you're not looking for it. Don't let it's exteriors steer you away though. You will definitely not be disappointed by the ga (chicken)!! Everything inside was super clean.

Our not-so-great experience may have been a result of the choices we made, but I'm unsure. When you first enter you are in front of a nicely stocked meat counter, loaded with different deli meats. To the left is a dining area with a sign stating "seat yourself". The place is a bit dated with a nice casual vibe. We were greeted by a server who gave us menus and took our drink orders. Service was top notch. When it came time to order I asked how the pastrami was. Server replied "the best". Ok I'll take a pastrami sandwich, my wife a corned beef. The server also asked if we wanted pickles and tomatoes which I said yes. She quickly brought a little bowl, which I chopped up and we enjoyed. The sandwiches came out and these things could've come from a school cafeteria honestly. A minimal amount of cold, sliced meat along with a small bag of chips was unimpressive. What happened to the warm, thick cut, juicy meat sandwich you could barely get your mouth around that we expected? We looked at each other thinking WTF? No sooner did we notice a sign on the wall "NY style, thick cut pastrami and corned beef NOW AVAILABLE" Now maybe we just don't want to accept responsibility but shouldn't the server have asked if that's what we wanted? Anyway we left hungry and saddened by our $48 experience. Def not worth it.

I had a smaller of breakfast meats, omelet, Rueben for lunch and mozzarella sticks. Everything was cooked well. They have the nice and thin sausage patties. I was surprised at the size of the sausage links. Cooked well for the size. They have thick cut bacon, which is surprising. The potatoes were crisp and they do have the option for well done. The Rueben was stacked with corned beef. The coleslaw wasn't saturated with mayonnaise like a lot are. Overall recommend!

Their distribution channels are still rather meager, but Organon the health food store on Route 413, Wrightstown, PA, has a selection in their back room frozen foods department. I picked up the Vegetarian Vietnamese Pho and Roasted Butternut Squash to sample a couple of flavors I normally love. Each plastic package was 12 ounces, enough for one meal. Stovetop or microwave for a few minutes and recycle the sleeve container. I slurped the pho today after shoveling the heavy fresh wet white precip that fell from early this morning. While it lacked the rich spicy lemongrass base of long time pot simmered stock found in Pho 75 and other good VN restaurants, and the thick nest of noodles and fresh pinched Thai basil leaves, it was pretty good for what it was - healthy nearly instant soup with only wholesome ingredients. A squirt of Sriracha for an extra kick and it was bowl rim to lips; bottoms up! Who had time for a spoon? BowlFace! I'll be back here after trying the Butternut Squash, but wanted to review the Pho while it was still warming my stomach. Gotta say this is a bit of a homer epistle, as I am very happy that Newtown's entrepreneurial spirit is thriving even in the Age of Covid.

My favorite soups are the Thai Butternut and the Vietnamese Vegetable Pho. The Thai Butternut warms you up on a cold day with the ginger. The Pho is full of mushrooms and herbs. I wish they were available all year around. The good thing about the packaging is that it freezes well! So I recommend stocking up on your seasonal favorites. Besides soup, they offer dips and macaroni and cheese. And most recently they have added salad dressing. So far I have only tried the Pickle Sriracha Dip but I have the Buffalo Cauliflower Dip in my fridge. The Pickle Dip was amazing, I can't wait to grab some more next time I'm at Organnons. If you like pickles, you'll love the Dip! I'm looking forward to Summer and trying more soups! You can check their website to see where you can buy locally. They are usually a vendor on Saturdays at the Wrightstown Farmer's Market. You can also find them at Organnons, Tanner's and I see them occasionally at GI Juice in Buckingham.
