Only went there to attend the music bingo, which they hold every Wednesday night. The food (a beef au jous) sandwich was alright but not top grade. For the price it should have been better. Kinda shocked i got charged almost $5 for a bottle of beer! And the server never came back after our party (like 14) to see if we needed anything else or how the food was! It was packed that night, but come on! I didn't even finish my sandwich. And I had to waIt to get someone to give me my check as I wanted to leave before the rest did or get a box for my sandwich (I just wrapped it in a napkin and put it in a bag I had)

This was our 1st time, but certainly not our last time, here! We were looking for a new spot for lunch to celebrate my sister's Birthday and it did not disappoint! We all enjoyed our choices. I had the Meltdown burger which was cheesy and delicious, my sister had one of their Taco Tuesday specials which she couldn't even finish and my daughter in law couldn't wait to try their French Onion soup which she enjoyed as well! I know that when there's so many great menu options, and we couldn't decide, that that tells us we'll be back for sure! I cannot begin to thank our server Tommy for letting us take our time and making great suggestions. She and her teammate Stephanie went out of their way to make sure our dining experience was on point! Thank you so much to everyone for helping make our special occasion even better! Hope to see you all again soon!

We went there around 9am on a Sunday and we were the only ones there. Breakfast was good as was the service.

Very friendly and fast service. Server Laura was great. Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon which was in the middle of a music bingo game. Which was fun. Food was really good and prices reasonable. Ordered steakhouse burger was great. Will be back.

Had lunch from here the other day. And Have not had a lunch this bad in along time. Got hot wings and French onion soup. I asked for a cup, they gave me a much bigger one, than that, and charge me more for it. Didn't get what I asked for. as for the wings, they pretty much use Frank's Hot Sauce. That's exactly what it taste like, it was the first time here and will be the last time,

My friends and I ordered clam chowder, a truffle fries, calamari, crab cakes , breadsticks, and a seafood platter with ramen. The clam chowder was creamy. Not sure if it's cause we each tried some to see if we like it, but I didn't even taste any clam in the soup! The truffle fries were very crispy, definitely can tell it's freshly made. Breadsticks and crab cakes, on the other hand, were slightly overcooked. They are no golden brown but darker brown color to me. Maybe that's the way they cook and serve them. As for the main dish, the seafood patter with ramen, it was not bad. I normally order butter or max two flavors, but this time, the group wants to try triple flavors. It wasn't bad but slightly salty, which is predictable, but definitely flavorful. This is the first time i add ramen to my seafood boil. It was delicious. The ramen soaked up all the sauce and flavors. Well worth trying. Our waitress was very friendly and filled with smiles. Great service! The restaurant itself was pretty big with many tables and, I believe, two party rooms. Great for special occasions and celebrations. We waited close to an hour for our entrees while the restaurant continued to fill up. With a hungry toddler, the long delay made it difficult to enjoy the visit. After waiting so long, we ultimately asked to have our food packed to go because staying any longer wasn't practical for our family. We also noticed that several nearby tables appeared to receive their entrees before we did, despite arriving after us, which left us feeling overlooked. As Asian and Puerto Rican customers, this made us wonder whether we were being treated differently. We can't know for certain what caused the delay, but the experience left us feeling unwelcome and overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable meal. I literally took one sip and left it there. The cheesesteak was good on a seeded roll. It was ribeye and it was done well. Hence tge two stars. The bbq platter had brisket, pulled chicken, ribs, corn and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was the best thing on the platter. The pulled chicken was sitting in a bowl of grease. The brisket was big globs of fat. The ribs were okay. They put a tiny line of sauce on each item. The service was rushed and spotty. I had heard good things, so we decided to give it a try. People love this place ... I say that because we were there late afternoon during the week and it was busy ... and it kept getting busier. I do understand why folks love it tho, because there's no other real seafood "shack" in the area specifically where folks can get their blue claw crabs. It truly does look and feel like a seafood shack because the wooden walls, brown paper on the table, paper towels on the table and overall decor scream "We are at the beach in a small southern town in the middle of nowhere where" lol Our server was great! She was very attentive and made recommendations... she was also very patient with us given that this was our first time here and we're a bit undecided on what we wanted to order. Now on to the food - this is honestly where I was underwhelmed. The broiled seafood had a whisper of flavor, the crab cake left a lot to be desired and the garlic buffalo shrimp were overwhelmingly buffalo sauce on top of fried shrimp. Now the clam chowder I had was amazing and I even ordered some to go. My friend enjoyed her crab legs meal overall and perhaps if we visit again that's the route I'll go. Oh and it's also a BYOB , so, be sure to grab your favorite bottle and bring it on in.

So, while there is no actual nearby pier, this area is very wet and full of earthen dams and dikes, and is a great place for fishing and hunting. This rustic restaurant has been around for decades in the hands of the same family. When we arrived at 6 p.m. the dining room was full but for the recently cleared table which we quickly took. Lori was our server. She was great from start to finish. We started with their small styro bowl of Crab Bisque. It was thick and tasty, and perhaps a tad salty. Liked it. I followed that with English style Fish & Chips, and my friend went with Fried Stuffed Flounder and Breaded Eggplant. I think mine was made with cod. With a splash of Heinz malt vinegar the taste and texture were decent, but not what I devoured visiting England. The coined potato medallions were very good dipped in tartar sauce. The stuffed flounder seemed prefabricated and frozen rather than fresh and made in their kitchen. It was not what we were hoping for. The atmosphere of Under the Pier was actually the better part of the experience. Maybe their oysters and other locally sourced crustaceans are the better way to go to avoid freezer boredom.
