Let me give you the drop! :-) This place has a system (that I don't necessarily like but works) of standing in line to order food and then wait for a table. The cashier was patient and ensured that my order was correct by asking and repeating back the entire order. That...I loved & appreciated! What I didn't like is the answer she gave me when I asked if it was okay that my family grabbed an open table while I ordered food. She said, "No, you have to order food first. Once your order is placed, then you can look for an empty table". Once a table was secured and cleaned, we waited for our order. Man, it didn't disappoint. We ordered 2 French onion burgers, oh lamb Mediterranean burger, garlic and parmesan fries, and a Philly cheesesteak with grilled onions and bell peppers topped with provolone cheese. Everything was carefully prepared and delicious. I mean the burgers were enjoyed and loved by two tweens. They loved the dip that came on the side and dipped fries and their burgers in it. The Mediterranean burger was spicy and jam packed with seasoning. As for the Philly cheesesteak, Listen!!!!! Get it. The meat was tender, hero was soft (I preferred more of a toast bun) but it was fresh, and the CHEESE stole the show. Why was the cheese so thick and just stringy?! I topped it with Heinz ketchup packets. Yes, you read that right.....packets! Two of 'em did the trick. Would I go back, absolutely! Would I scout a table first, totally!!!! Maybe not, but it was still quite delicious and definitely hit the spot. After my meal, I recommended it to my friends who came by later, and they enjoyed it too. Always a good sign when your food suggestion lands well. The place has a nice, casual vibe and I was able to get my food pretty quickly. I can't quite put my finger on why it's not a perfect 5 for me. If I knew how to give it a 4.5-stars, I would certainly do so. He immediately had it returned and corrected with the most pleasant attitude. We also ordered jalapeño poppers. Both the jalapeño poppers and cheesesteak were phenomenal. Oh Brother replaced what was once a California Tortilla and man, did they outdo themselves! This is in a prime location in the heart of Northeast Philadelphia. Employees were attentive and friendly, greeting us immediately when we walked in. The painting of sports stars on the wall was super unique and represents Philadelphia in a positive way. I ordered a Shroom Truffle Burger and subbed the beef patty for a plant based patty. I'm not a Swiss cheese lover, but this was OUTSTANDING. The cheese was perfectly melted, topped with fried onions, mushrooms and arugula. The ingredients blended together extremely well. I loved the potato bread bun, too. Garlic Parm fries were perfectly seasoned with lots of Parmesan cheese and parsley. The garlic truffle mayo on the side for dipping really shined through. There is plenty of seating and several customers were popping in for pickup orders. It was a beautiful day so I don't blame people for not wanting to dine in, but best believe this is a place will fill up during the colder months. I asked for a To-Go bag and it is reusable and sturdy!! A nice approach from the usual paper bag. There's something for everyone at Oh Brother. There's a separate building for their cheesesteak offerings and another for their pizza restaurant. In a rush to cure my hunger, I settled on the pizza spot which was a tiny shop that seated no more than 10-12 people. There was an ample amount of tables situated in front of the Market Street window offering above average people watching opportunities.
