I had my sandwiches delivered, and the quality was moist, chewy, and slightly oily. I'm not sure if Panera Bread is supposed to be this oily. I've usually only had it fresh in-store, but it was well preserved. I didn't pay for it, but in terms of quality, it tasted like a normal sandwich. This Panera Bread is conveniently located in a large plaza with tons of shopping. It is on the corner of the plaza next to a grocery store. My favorite items to get from Panera is the hazelnut coffee and a cinnamon swirl bagel with cream cheese. This time I visited they were out of most bagels. I was stuck with the cinnamon crunch which is far too sweet for me. Nonetheless, the staff was super friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The coffee was delicious. For reasons I don't really understand it took at least 20 minutes to get the chicken and soup. I watched the staff who were fulfilling all the mobile orders as well as the onsite ones. It seems they kept getting requests for a sandwich which was a sort of combo that was time consuming to make. They were a little frustrated. Also, some receipts were not printing. I often come here for lunch and I always get the same thing, the Green Goddess Cobb Salad. The salad dressing consists of: Greek yogurt, fresh basil, shallot, basil pesto, wine vinegar, agave syrup, mayonnaise and dijon mustard. The way Panera describes this salad is "Mixed greens, crisp romaine and ice berg lettuce, blended, tossed in Green Goddess dressing, topped with grilled chicken, grape tomatoes, pickled red onions, fresh avocado, applewood smoked bacon and a hard-boiled egg." Mind blown. Panera has its own pizza!!! I am a sucker for new menu items so I had to try it. The ingredients are top notch, the flavor profile is right, and the execution is wonderful for a place that is not a pizza joint by trade. The only issue is that the crust on this day seemed a bit tough...but still tasty. The flavor is rather simple but not in a bad way. Adults would like this pizza but kids would love it too. The pizza is similar in style to those slung at the D.C. area chain "&Pizza". It is a good facsimile for times when you cannot made it your favorite pizza spot. Pictured is the plain cheese version. I also had the Margherita with grape tomatoes, mozzarella and fontina, and fresh basil. That pie was good but they skimped on sauce and fresh basil. It must have been good because it was chomped down before I remembered to post a photo. I forgot Uncle Clifford's rule number 28.5 the camera eats first for Yelp and IG (no crying at the Pynk is rule # 24.5....). Good thing is the Panera app will allow you to customize such particulars as the amount or elimination of each ingredient. I just wish they had a selection of toppings similar to &Pizza. In addition to cheese and Margherita, there is a chipotle chicken & bacon concoction (solid pass for this non-pork eater). Panera should be proud of their latest menu addition. You can make it a combo meal (what would an American chain be without a combo meal) by adding soup or half of a sandwich. For about $13-$14 bucks not a bad deal. I love their other food options like soup, sandwiches and breakfast items like the oatmeal (pictured) and of course the fresh bread, but the pizza is just another arrow in the quiver. I have never been to Panera and will never go there again. I ordered the toasted toasted frontega chicken and the picture looked so good, well it wasn't. The picture is a COMPLETE lie. I know the picture is not going to be exactly like what you get but this was a joke. Very disappointed. Oh it was to come with a side but the chip were out so they broke me off a piece of baguette which was dry as all get out. My Cane Corso ate it but the Bichon Frisé turned her nose up to it. Management does not listen and resolve poor customer service. I was brushed off as if I did not exist. I consistently patronize this location due to convenience but that ended today. I typically order a teriyaki bowl - the last time I ordered it, this location was out of the normal containers to put it in. So they instead put (what should have been a healthy portion of) my hot food in a tiny plastic salad lid which warped. I don't mind paying for healthy options and great service. They didn't get my order correct and worst I had ordered many salads but they didn't even include one fork or napkin when packing the lunches. This location is very clean. My sister, son and I visited before heading back to NY after staying with my other sister for the weekend. The efficiency of ordering left much to be desired and for whatever reason, you have to pick up your own food. They don't have table service which is what I'm used to. It's a little irritating because everyone's order has to be carried to the table without a tray so say goodbye to claiming a table unless you leave something of yours there. I visited this location for the first time in about two years. This place is always fille​d with a variety of individuals conducting meetings, study sessions, and other activities. I placed an order with the cashier who was also pressuring me to order when I intentionally stood off to the side to look over​ the overhead menu. After making my selections, I handed my gift cards to the cashier. I had received​​d these gift cards​ when I cashed in my reward points form my credit card company​. One of the cards were showing up invalid​, however, I had checked​​ both cards about a month ago and they were active. The manager was called over, and he immediately caught an attitude and treated me as if I was a broke, homeless person. Panera Bread is such a cool place to stop in to get a hot panini, salad, soup, bagel, pastry or the best hot chocolate around. This is my neighborhood Panera and I love it! I like to come on off-peak times (not during lunch on a weekday and not too late on the weekend) otherwise, it can get pretty full or they've been known to run out of the more popular items. The food is always fresh and piping hot and all of the drinks are made to order. I have my staple items I always get, like the Frontega Chicken Panini or the Cream of Chicken Wild Rice soup, but I also like to try other items on the menu too. I've NEVER ordered something I didn't like. They recently remodeled this location and it's a bit more accessible and comfortable. For the most part the staff is usually really nice. I have experienced some that weren't so pleasant but I normally don't have a problem. Free Wi-Fi is offered, the long tables are perfect for large parties and the fireplace in the wall adds a little bit of warmth during those cold months. I really wish they had a drive-thru like I've seen at a few of the Panera's in Virginia, because the parking can be a bit much since Grace's is right next door. Oh well, just gives me an opportunity to get a brief workout in with the walk to and from. This location doesn't seem to have it all together, which is a clear indication of bad management. I have been going to Panera Breads all over for ages, and have never received such inconsistent service. This is the second time I ordered a chicken chipotle avocado melt and ended up with less than a toddlers handful of chicken, the avocado was iffy, and the cheese was barely on the sandwich. The only reason I gave them another shot was because I had a noon meeting, wanted some soup, and didn't have time to go elsewhere. Thankfully the soup tastes fine. I will say that my food came out very quickly, but it's probably because it was thrown together so badly. Oh and I asked for chips, which is even on my receipt, but got bread instead. As the reigning Duchess of this location, my review is long overdue. I frequent this Panera because it's close to my office and they never run out of the stuff I like. Panera is my version of fast food. I gained a special appreciation when I was in grad school and I had to devote long hours to studying, accessing my virtual classroom (free Wi-Fi), and meeting with my team. There were too many distractions at home, so coffeehouses became my hangout. Small cafés tend to have limited healthy food offerings (non-pastry) which wasn't conducive to my long days, concentration, or waistline. Although the brand still focuses on fresh baked goods and coffee drinks, Panera has many seasonal offerings that are delicious and good for you. I like the steel cut oatmeal or four-cheese soufflé for breakfast. Most days, I get the You Pick 2 for lunch. On those brisk days, I'll order a cup of autumn squash, black bean, or creamy tomato soup then pair it with the power chicken hummus bowl or Fuji apple chicken salad. It's important to note, they only serve hormone/antibiotic free meat. I like the BBQ chicken & Southwestern chicken flatbread sandwiches too, but they frequently look thrown together or missing ingredients. I discover after I've returned to my office. I am beyond highly annoyed. I ordered a Greek salad and to my dismay, the lettuce was extremely wilted, borderline rotten. A salad is supposed to be chilled but everything was warm and gross. I always use this panera bread and many times I have issues with my order. Because i utilize this location frequently, I reframe from writing reviews. The staff has decent customer service but make sure you clarify your order before leaving. One week, I only received 1 out of 5 orders correct for the week. From rotten avocado to missing quinoa (from my quinoa salad), they had a really bad week. It appeared the only good day was due to a visiting manager. Never the less all wasn't loss. I called the branch after my salad issue. Jenn (manager) totally changed my mood for the better. She apologized with so much sincerity and comped my order for all the issues occurring the same week.
