I'm a member of Panera's Unlimited Sip Club which is a nice program with unlimited coffee and soft drinks. Unfortunately, I recently had a cup of coffee that had grinds at the bottom. I sent an email to the company about this just to make them aware of the issue. They kindly sent me an email with an offer of a free soup, salad, sandwich or You Pick 2 combo. It was unexpected yet considerate. When I went to Panera, I ordered the You Pick 2. The manager entered the order into the system and said the offer was not good on a You Pick 2 deal. I showed her the email and asked if she could override the system to allow the offer that I had received. Alas, she couldn't do this. I changed my order to a turkey bacon sandwich, which was tasty. The sandwich came with a soft drink. When I filled up my cup at the soda dispenser, the diet Pepsi was very light in color and not very good. Apparently club soda bled into the Pepsi and created an unappealing drink. Perhaps some better quality control is needed for the soda machine to ensure the proper product is being dispensed for each drink. While I truly appreciate Panera's generosity in addressing my issue with the coffee, I suggest that they empower their managers to handle customer situations in order to create great experiences and loyal customers. I realize my reviews are pretty much the same from location to location but Panera is pretty much the same from location to location. My individual reviews from restaurant to restaurant will only differ slightly. Like all chain restaurants there is a specific model they follow. I like the one that Panera uses. There restaurants are always bright, cheerful and very clean. Condiment stations are always checked and cleaned and tables are constantly being maintained. I like the way that you order from one area, given a buzzer so you can find a seat and relax, then get called to pick up your meal. This is a very large restaurant and many groups of people come here in the morning to sit, relax, talk and share some breakfast. The team member taking our order was extremely cordial and helped us through a couple of modifications with ease. That's a really good trait of any restaurant these days given so many diet restrictions of patrons. As always the food was extremely fresh and very well prepared. Five stars for the bacon-spinach souffle. I just had a bagel and cream cheese. Panera certainly has made me a lifetime customer and I always look forward to a visit. For that reason, I joined their unlimited SIP club. A great stop for a quick cup of coffee or an iced drink when it really hot outside. Teenagers that are more interested in talking to each other than to the customers in front of them took our order. (One of them was wearing a Team Leader name tag). I wiped down my own table. That was all bad enough but then I got my order. The grilled cheese was a folded over piece of bread with half a cheese slice! Very disappointed. I've been coming to the Boynton Beach store with my family for a long time. Food was good, help was good. Today they lost my business. I order the Broccoli Cheddar soup as I do regularly. It was so watered down. My father walked it back to the counter where he explained the issue stated above. The girls behind the counter making the food were nasty, there was a gentleman who was kinder but said he couldn't say anything. If this is Panera's "New Look", it sure is Ugly! Where do you come off changing the soup consistency, what else do you do that the public is unaware of?? Isn't it illegal to play with ingredients? Where's the public safety aspect? I went here to meet some work colleagues and I was delighted to be able to eat comfortably inside and order some food. I was afraid they were going to be out of a lot of items but they were ok! I ordered a small chicken caesar salad and asked for an apple instead of the french bread (also no croutons). I got the order relatively quickly and that was good. The employees were all very friendly and smiled. In this day and age, that's very important to me. WE comfortably sat at a table and talked and conducted our meeting. The parking can be a little difficult here so you most likely will have to park a bit far away (I was ok with that because a little walk is fine with me). I do know that the Panera near me closed down so I was happy to see that this one is still in business. read more

This is going to be a long review? I am a sip club member (will be canceling due to the issues you will read below). I order from this Panera 7 DAYS A WEEK. Sometimes twice a day. I would call that a good customer. Let's talk the last 2-3 weeks. Order 2- 20oz hot coffees and a large ice coffees every morning. Lately I have been receiving my hot coffees with approximately 4oz missing. (You may a remember a popular coffee chain getting sued for leaving room for cream without the customer asking for this. Customer won and now they ask on their app if you want them to leave room). So to make sure I receive my coffees full I specify in the notes the following: Fill top, Double the tray, 2 straws. Why the double tray? The trays at this Panera are VERY flimsy and tend to break under too much weight. Why 2 Straws? If I don't ask for 2 I won't even get one- sometimes this works, but usually still end up with no straw. So let's discuss today's order. When it arrived the delivery driver was juggling the tray to try to keep the coffees from spilling. No double tray! Wasn't working and ended up with coffee spilling. Noticed tray was broken. Opened the hot coffees and not full. Got a straw but not 2. So clearly instructions were not followed. Decided to call the cafe and speak with a manager since this has been an everyday occurrence for the last couple of weeks. Since I order every day I tend to know the managers. Generally they are nice but not today. She refused to tell me her name when I asked her to repeat it. Explained why I was calling and she interrupted me to say she did my order and she followed my instructions and it was "perfect". When I said that instructions were not followed she kept interrupting to say it was perfect. Perfect. Perfect... over and over. Called customer care even though I knew they would not listen and that this franchisee doesn't care and would not call me. Yes, for those that don't know the Boynton Beach locations are owned by a franchisee. So now you know why a good customer who is also a sip club member doesn't think it is worth keeping. Omg what a disaster! I've never been to this location however, it fit with where I was at, so I went. I knew in advance what I wanted having looked at the menu and I went to the counter and I said have a Mediterranean bowl, no chicken. So she calls out "Mediterranean veggie" and I go and have a seat and wait for my name to be called. When the order is ready, it is a Mediterranean sandwich with a baguette on the side. I said this is not what I ordered; I wanted the Mediterranean bowl. The guy said he would make it again correctly. When they called my name again I went to the counter; there was a bowl but they were pieces of meat on it. I said what is this? Is this chicken? The girl who I think was the manager said yes it's chicken, and I said I ordered a vegetarian, the server had even called out "Mediterranean veggie. " Then said we will just take the chicken off. I said no, it's touched the food. You can't just remove it. Don't they know that's improper, jeez . . . So she turned to a guy behind the counter and said she'd show him how to make it and he said "No, I think I know how." This is what they gave me. It's missing several ingredients; compare with what's on the menu. There's no hummus. There's no lettuce. There's just a hunk of rice and a few other items. What a complete disaster. We visited Panera at the Canyon Town Center for dinner on Friday evening and when we ordered, we were surprised to hear they were out of steak sandwiches and flatbread. So we ordered the Pick 2 combos with soup and Tuscan chicken sandwiches with chicken, cheese, arugula, & basil mayo on ciabatta bread. The sandwiches were tasty but it seemed like the bread to chicken ratio was off: too much bread and not enough chicken. The grilled tomato also had a strange after-taste. The corn chowder soup was delicious and contained a nice assortment of peppers and potatoes in addition to the corn. The broccoli cheddar soup was also very good but the temperature was just lukewarm. The restaurant seemed a bit dirty despite being only about 1/2 full. An employee did walk through with a quiet vacuum, which did help eliminate some of the mess on the floor. The tables could have been wiped better though. The food at Panera is usually good but when we eat there we often feel hungry when we leave. The portion sizes are not particularly large. Maybe we should eat there for lunch rather than for dinner. read more

2.7 miles = 7 minutes car ride... Ok I'm totally obsessed to have Panera Bread right outside my house community. For me the close distance convenience and not having to cook lunch is always a win win situation. I really like this particular location because it's not as busy as the Boca Raton location. The wait time is not bad and a quick lunch is manageable. The outside seating is plenty with tables and chairs. I love their French bread and French Baguette with anything. I know this is a chain restaurant but their bread tastes so good and reminds me of Europe. Their pick two is the best deal for a complete meal. You have choices of soup or salad with your sandwich. My favorite is their tomato soups with Tuna sandwich. And I adore all their pastries and desserts as well. Don't even get me started on the chocolate croissant. Today I ordered online for rapid pickup. I ordered 2 flat breads and 2 sandwiches. I got there 5 minutes early. Got home which is 3 minutes away and found everything wrong. Frontega chicken: asked for extra may, got barely any. Asked for mayo on side. Nothing! As for the new flat breads. No major changes just wanted them well done. A girl came on - I believe her name was Kate?, who put me on hold to look up my order - mind you I was just there, but she never came back on the line. It rang back and a man answered. I told him the manager - at least I think she was a manager said she was looking for my order. Rudely he said he was the GM. I explained my problems. He fought me with everything I said. I then told him to never mind I will call corporate. He said "do that" they will just send the complaint to me. You can have 1 free sandwich. I said but my whole order was wrong. The girls working here are high school or college aged. One of them handed me the wrong pickup order after giving her my name. On getting home, I realized it was the wrong order, so I had to drive back. When I got there, the girl proceeds to blame me for the mistake, for not checking the name on the ticket. Completely unnecessary, I was totally polite and non-confrontational, I just asked for the correct order. So I explained to her that it is incorrect to blame the customer for her mistake, took my food and walked out. We paid $55.00 for 2 large soups & a tuna sandwich. The tuna sandwich was good, the soup sucked. Keep in mind, Panera soup is shipped in plastic bags, so consistency, quality & flavor are the same in every location. The chicken noodle was about 80% broth, barely enough noodles for one bowl & no flavor. The broccoli cheddar was watered down & no flavor. We threw the soup out. This lack of quality is a corporate management decision to save money, this is the same management that was fired by Chicago-based ad agency Cramer-Krasselt for being difficult & incompetent. A company that size has never been fired by their ad agency, ever, it's unheard of. Panera corporate management is one of the worst executive teams in corporate history. Visiting friends in Delray Beach and came here for lunch. I thoroughly enjoyed my Fuji Apple Salad. I made a custom drink from the assorted lemonade and ice teas. I wish I knew what ratio I used to share with everyone because it was absolutely delicious and should be its own drink. I used blood orange lemonade, agave lemonade, passion papaya green tea, and plum ginger hibiscus tea. From the color, I guess I used more of the blood orange lemonade, but I swear there was bit more passion papaya. I tried to keep as close to equal parts each, then again the fun lies in experimenting. As for the place itself, everyone was friendly, super quick service, even with quite a crowd. We moved to Boynton Beach around a month ago and didn't realize that there was a panera this close to our new place. Now no matter where you are panera is almost the same everywhere same amazing food same amazing service. But this one had an extra. Most paneras close around 9pm this one is right next to publix and closes around 10pm. We ordered the pick 2 and we're immediately rewarded. This site is a typical Panera Bread restaurant. It was clean and had a good assortment of baked goods. It was hard to find the garbage area, which should be better marked or closer to the exit. Their mac n cheese is really soupy. The soups are okay. The bread is really hard. And I don't like any of the sandwiches. (Or the salad but that's only because I don't like salads lol) The service is getting better. They have buzzers now and sometimes an employee clears your table for you. Extremely disappointed in the food quality and customer service. I ordered the following: Sausage and Pepperoni Flatbread, Green Goddess Cobb Salad and the BLT Turkey Sandwich. Once I arrived home, immediately I saw the food was lacking. The sandwich was missing the actual BACON, the salad the avocado and the "flatbread" appeared all right. Eventually ate the flatbread and was a complete salt bomb with no discernible taste and cardboard crust. I generally don't phone and complain to the restaurant with a mistake, but after so many errors and just dissatisfaction with the overall food, I did phone. The outcome, bring the food back or they will give me a $5 credit. Opted for the credit, as it wasn't worth the time to drive back. DO NOT GO TO THIS MESSED UP PANERA ESTABLISHMENT. I love Panera Bread but this was by far the worst one I have ever been to. Walking into the place, the girl taking my order was very rude and didn't ask what sides we (me and my son) wanted, just put down baguette. Since my son had soup and a bread bowl, he asked when he picked up his order if he could have the chips instead. You would have thought that my son had asked for the moon as the guy behind the counter rolled his eyes and acted like he was put out by changing it. They forgot the pesto on our garden vegetable soup but at this point I didn't care. The place was dirty and no silverware was out. I had to ask the guy behind the counter for a knife and they handed me a dirty knife that I obviously didn't use. After we were done with lunch, I went to the counter to get a cup of coffee to go. Two older women butted in front of me but that was ok...this is South Florida. Finally a register opened up and as I was approaching it, a young girl who had just walked through the door ran up to the register. I asked her "Didn't you just walk through the door, because I was actually waiting in line for a register to open up".
