This quick service type restaurant has a modern atmosphere and is very clean. There is something on the menu for everyone and everything that we tried was amazing. Not to mention, the staff was very professional, attentive, helpful, and friendly. There are several tables inside, as well as a patio outside with several tables and umbrellas. This 100% Gluten Free eatery has been here at the far back of the Plaza Delray for the last seven years. Ripe and "ready to eat meals" is their name with motto. This was not a prepared food place that I thought so not really sure what "ready to eat" actually means. Plenty of parking available at this area of the plaza. Around ten customers were eating and browsing the health-conscious menu. Ordered a Lavazza espresso coffee that gave me some jitters and was welcomed. Sat in the dining room that had bamboo colors with greenery providing a calming ambiance. A couple of people ordered the tuna poke bowl and were satisfied with their meal. A few others ordered the Greek salad, which included feta cheese, cucumbers and tomatoes along with the greens. The salad was tasty and a nice size portion. And the dressing was delicious. I had the Tulum Lifter rice bowl with chicken. It was very good and quite satisfying. The only disappointment was the avocado toast with poached eggs. The person expected the eggs to be runny so the yolk could mix with the toast, but they were fully cooked. I bookmarked this place to try out when in the area because it's gluten free. From most of the reviews it seems like the menu has changed, however I like the options listed. I was torn between a burger and a burrito and I opted for the seasoned beef burrito with fries and I was pleased with my choice. The restaurant is beautiful decorated and matched the aesthetics of the area. Service was a bit off. The menus were lamented and just thrown about the front register with no one to greet you. After waiting for a few minutes someone came up to say someone would be there soon. I placed the order to go and thoroughly enjoyed it at home. Menú changed and food changed. What was once one of favorites was not enjoyed tonight. I brought 6 of my friends and everyone of them was highly disappointed. One ordered the Mediterranean with chicken as an add on and they gave him one less falafel. Why would you give less for an add on. The girls had no idea about any questions we asked about the menu. I will always happily go out of my way to try dedicated gluten-free restaurants, and Ripe didn't disappoint. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the chicken and waffles, margherita pizza, and garlic fries. The staff were friendly, and the interior is bright, clean, and updated. The only reason I'd knock a star off is for the location; we would have returned during our stay if it hadn't been out of the way. Worst restaurant experience I've ever had! The female at the counter was rude, disrespectful and played dumb by speaking in Spanish to us when we asked to speak to the general manager. We asked for the tip back which says a lot. She also pointed to the same sign and said "we can refuse to serve you". Do not go here. The teriyaki bowl that we ordered was dry so we asked for extra teriyaki sauce They charge you for salad dressing and dipping sauces when we went up to the register to pay for it, they refused to service you and pointed to a sign on the wall indicating we have the right to refuse service. The girl menu d the counter was so rude she should not be working with the public. We would Never go back there again. Ripe is truly a gem! I was thrilled to discover a new option for reasonably priced, healthy dining in Delray. Ripe presents a 100% gluten-free menu! We started with the Asian Cauliflower Fingers and Sweet Potatoes Fries, both were flavorful and paired well with the Garlic Aioli and Sriracha Honey dipping sauces. For entrees, we tried the Tuna Poke Bowl and Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. Both were equally delicious and the portion sizes were much bigger than expected. We left happily full and had enough food to bring home leftovers, all for under $50 - truly a steal in SFL. I was so impressed with the quality ingredients in all of our meals! I really want to give this place another chance. I stopped in, thinking it would be fast so that I could get on the road for the 3 hour drive that awaited me. Their selection seemed great and healthy. I chose the pad Thai bowl and added the quinoa crusted chicken on top. I didn't realize it already came with chicken mixed inside. But not mad at the extra chicken I got, very yummy crispy crust. Also, I was going off of all of the pictures that I see on here that seem to be from about a year ago - and this is completely my fault not the restaurant's fault bc it does say rice noodle on the menu, BUT all the photos on here have what looks like zucchini noodles in the pad thai and that's what I was expecting. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed to have a really, really hot plate of rice noodles. It's just not what I expected and not what I wanted. That said, it was super flavorful, had its own chicken breast mixed into it, and a large heavy portion I think this is all my fault because I was in a hurry. Most of the patrons that were in there with me took really long to get their food as well so I do think that's a downfall next time I just wanna come in with out the time pressure I wanna try some of their other options it's very clean smells amazing. Lots of drinking options delicious soda and I'm NOT a soda person but soooo good. We found prices reasonable but not cheap. Presentation of plates beautiful. one thing that wasn't right is the pastrami was cut wrong. It was cut with the grain not against the grain , the way you do it so meat slightly chewy. I'm medically GF and I felt sooo safe eating here. We can't wait to go back! Three people ate for under $70 with tip , side fries and drinks. Our first visit to Ripe - and I'm already planning what to have my next three times there. So much to explore on their menu! While everything is indeed gluten free - that does NOT translate into meat free or plant based or tasteless. We stopped in on a not very busy Sunday afternoon - which gave us ample time to peruse the menu board. Salads, pizza, burgers, chicken sandwiches, cauliflower bread creations, bowls with rice, bowls with spiralized veggies, bowls with avocado. Something for everyone! Usually we try to each order something different on the menu - but today Rick and I both opted for the Bravocado Burger with a beef patty and the garlic aioli. I selected butternut squash fries and Rick had the yucca fries. The potato bun was lightly toasted but a little overwhelming for me. But the burger, mushroom, Swiss cheese, avocado mash, lettuce and tomato blended together into a taste treat delight. Quite good. Rick's yucca fries were done just right, my butternut squash fries were a little greasy. I ate half - and then crisped them up at home in the air fryer. Next time we are in the area - I'm definitely ordering the Poke Bowl - or the Yum Yum turkey burger, or the Ahi tuna tartare avocado bowl. Rick has his eye on the Thai Rainbow salad with a protein or the Low-mein zucchini bowl. And if we plan it right - I'll also order a cauliflower crust pizza to bring home. read more

I was very impressed with Ripe, whose menu is ALL gluten-free. My wife was so happy. It has been a long time since she could have a crispy chicken sandwich, which both her and I enjoyed. Their grilled cheese was terrific with the cauliflower bread that I added turkey bacon and a fried egg too. Very magical. I enjoyed the yuca fries with the garlic aioli as well that brought me to a place of spiritual beauty. There's so much more we want to order from their menu between their pizzas and burgers. The pizzas offer both cauliflower and chicken crusts. Burgers can have cauliflower as well as a rice bun I think. Very clean layout the fast casual dining has there. Plenty of parking in the plaza on the southeast corner of Lyons and Atlantic Avenue in West Delray. If you are entering the plaza from Lyons on the northbound side, Ripe is there on the corner with parking on the right side. If you come from Atlantic, go around the back of the building to the left of Joseph's. Definitely a repeat visit kind of place, especially if you are gluten free. read more

We were driving through the area looking for lunch, and I found Ripe on the Find GF app. The restaurant is bright and fresh looking, the staff friendly and the food was great. I had the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, which was delicious. Being gluten free, I can't remember the last time I had crispy chicken. The Sweet Potato Waffle fries were tasty as well. My wife had the Waldorf Salad, which she loved. And the Brookie (brownie/cookie) was a fun twist for dessert. We only wish we lived closed (and not 1000 miles away). read more

Since being taken under new Management recently, the restaurant Ripe in Delray Beach has incredible food. Several things I have had on the menu were delicious and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, they have a diffuser in the ceiling that gives off an extremely strong perfume smell. Terrible! I cannot sit in the restaurant to eat. No one should be pumping perfume into a place of business, especially when people eat. read more
