The place was very clean, The staff was very nice, knowledgeable and about the food they were selling. also the staff was very helpful. This Panera Bread had table service. when dinning in you order your food, Pay your cashier. The cashier hands you a small buzzer device. This is to let you know while sitting at your table, your food is coming right out. A server delivers you your food and asks if you need anything. Very nice operation. Your Drinks are self serve near by via soda machine. This location also has a small on site baked goods section.. I am generally a big fan or Panera. The food is good, healthy options and it's generally pretty quick. I took my laptop here to do some work a few weeks ago, since I always see signs about the WiFi. Not one Panera employee was able to help me get the WiFi to work. There is a sign at the register that talks about the WiFi, but when I asked the cashier the password she had no idea. Allegedly she went to find out and never came back. I figure I'll go sit down and figure it out. Wrong. I asked the gentleman cleaning up the area who to sign onto the WiFi and he had no idea. I love Panera but my visit yesterday was not good. I think it's a management issue as they seem to have an adequate staff. No hot water for their tea, no milk either. My soup was not hot. The areas where you place your used dishes was full, as were the trash barrels. I think a good manager would see things to be done and either do them, or get someone else to do them or perhaps staff need specific jobs. I live in Randloph and their the closest location to me BUT i drive all the way to Quincy location or South Bay in Boston BECAUSE the workers are RUDE in Braintree!!!! I have never been to a panera bread other than this one that takes forever to make your order because their too busy laughing and having unapproprite conversation BUT that isn't worst part... This is my favorite Panera location and I have always had great food and service here until today. I order the same panini the exact same way every time, no red onion, add bacon. Well this time I see my order isn't right. Cool! So I then take it back to the front. I repeat my customized order, "Hey this is supposed to be no red onion add bacon." I hear the lady in the prep area so there are no red onion on here.....Well Missy....where is the bacon???? Don't get mad because YOU messed my order up and I came wanting t fixed. This Panera is completely inconsiderate of its costumers who call in. There have been several occasional call in's that I'd do if I were ordering on a third party app, and I always get the phone continuously hung up in my face. This after noon I had called several times and got the phone hung up in my face 8 times. I repeatedly tried to call back due to them messing up my order and immediately 8 times in a row had the phone hung up on me. The managers never answer their call when you dial 5 for options. I ordered delivery from the website for 1/2 a ham and Swiss sandwich and cup of broccoli cheddar soup; the sandwich I received was tuna with tomatoes and no soup. I called immediately and was told I would receive the correct order asap. The sandwich was delivered again incorrectly and I didn't receive the soup. I ordered 3 bagel and small ice chai, but when I received the order the chai it was hot. I asked nicely if I could have a cup of ice since I order the drink cold not hot, I didn't even asked for another drink, money back and I didn't even complained. The guy behind the counter make me another drink, all of the sudden grab he the hot drink on the counter and slam it into the trash bin, and said that it show hot not ice on the receipt. This is by far the best Panera location that I've been to in Massachusetts. It is always very clean and the employees are polite and helpful. I never have to wait long in line or for my food. I usually order my panini slightly altered from what is on the menu and the location in Quincy and also Hingham have been openly rude about it. This location doesn't do that. It's good to not have to feel bad about how you order a sandwich. They also just started delivering the food to your table. Another nice feature. I really enjoy coming here. I can't believe I'm giving you one star. oh Panera you used to be one of my favorites, but I've had too many problems with this location lately. Nearly each and every week I order a turkey sandwich for my boyfriend, and request the roasted turkey, not the jiggly nasty deli "smoked" turkey. They always charge me for it, and say ok, but when I get it home, you guessed it. Wrong turkey. Countless times they have: given us the wrong salad dressings or none at all, forgot the baguettes, added toppings to salad that I specifically requested not to add etc. When I got their offer in the mail for 50% to try their new online ordering system, I thought I'd give it a shot, because at least if *I* am the one typing up the order, maybe it will come out right. I couldn't have been more wrong. Yesterday I ordered two salads and a sandwich, and when I went to pick it up there was no one standing at the "to go" counter or whatever they are calling it, but i saw my bag sitting there, so I grabbed it, assuming everything was ok, and left. I noticed that the print out stapled to the bag, noting each item, did not have check marks. When I order in the store, I noticed that they have someone reading off each item to the people making it, to make sure it's correct. I get home and find that there are tomatoes on my salad which I requested to leave them out, no extra blueberries in my mom's salad like I asked, only one tiny baguette, and per usual they used the wrong turkey on the sandwich and the bread was all wet and nasty from mountain of pickles they put on it. It seems they didn't even read all the special instructions i wrote in. Something is up with their online ordering system, or more likely the young kids working there just don't pay attention. Even though they've screwed me before, I never called to complain, but this was enough, I called and spoke with a manager named Michelle who was nice but certainly not very apologetic and just said i could come in and get a "free meal" when I said that wasn't really my concern; I just wanted things I order made correctly, and I said that obviously something is off with your online ordering, she just said she would look into it. Sadly, I've had enough overpriced jiggly turkey sandwich and messed up salads, so won't be coming here anymore...maybe just for breads and soup, since it's near impossible to screw that up. The staff at this Panera Bread is top notch. We always make changes to our order and there's never an issue (unlike some of the other local Panera shops). The sandwiches are great but a little pricey. They offer free WiFi, which is pretty convenient. The cool thing about this Panera is that they are a "pilot" location and have some cool features that will hopefully be rolled out to other Panera Bread stores. We came in on a Wednesday night around 7 p.m. The parking lot was half empty and we figured we could grab a relatively easy quick dinner and be on our way. Wrong. First off, it was excruciatingly slow. We stood in line for 10 minutes waiting to place our order. The person in front of us paid with a debit or credit card which was denied and the cashier recommended he call the bank to figure out the problem. In all fairness, that's a fine recommendation, but she waited for him to finish the call before ringing up anyone else's order. So when we finally placed our order - two sandwiches and two drinks, it turns out that they were already out of certain types of breads. At that point, I didn't care. I was hungry and I wanted food. Then we had to sit through the Panera upsell technique. I don't want a cookie, I don't want a bagel for tomorrow, and I don't want a coffee for later. So now that 20 minutes had passed, we finally received our food. My tuna salad sandwich was not made correctly - it was a chunk of albacore tuna practically smothered in mayo. Hubs enjoyed his sandwich, but I was not impressed. One of the worst Paneras in the area. They do offer a large dining area, with lots of room to accomodate larger parties. Hands down one of the nicest Panera Bread locations I have ever been to. Since opening, this location has never let me down - whether I'm running late to work and have to be in and out as quickly as possible, or I'm running late to a meeting and have to take a conference call in one of the booths (yes - I am always running late - thanks for noticing). Today I had my best experience yet. It was the peak of the lunch rush and I was (inconsiderately) sitting in a booth while working on my laptop. I noticed a manager walking an elderly woman through the restaurant, trying to help her locate a booth. He offered her a half booth, but she wanted a full one. I heard this and offered her my booth - it was just me anyway, so a half booth was just as good as a full one. Five minutes later, the manager came back to my table with a hot chocolate and a cookie - on the house. How sweet was that?! He introduced himself as Kevin, and told me that one good deed deserves another. I think Kevin deserves a raise. I will obviously be back - as often as possible! Food is same as any other Panera location: good, albeit pricey. This location does get very crowded on weekends, which means noise. It also means a lot of demand on the wifi, resulting in ultra slow connection speeds. Ordinarily I'd give it 3 stars, but the table service and self service kiosks does bring it up a notch. As another reviewer said, Panera was one of my favorite places to eat. After today's bizarre experience, I am done. Thursday morning, I placed my first order online. The order was placed at 6:58 am and the receipt said it would be ready by 7:09 am. When I walked in at 7:23, I was crestfallen to see that there was no order on the "online orders" shelf. I waited in line, and talked to a clerk and she talked to another clerk, and no one knew anything about any online order. Believe it or not, it got worse. Another clerk appeared who said that he remembered seeing my order, but when someone walked in and ordered a four-cheese souffle (which I had ordered), the store gave the walk-in customer MY order. I said, "What?!" He said, "Well, we were all out. Is there something else you might like?" I said, "What?!" He said, "We're out of four-cheese souffles now. Sorry." So that's the rules. Online orders can be picked through and picked over if someone walks in through the front door. This, despite the fact that online orders are PREPAID. Today after working a 12 hour shift overnight i ordered panera pick up online. i accidentally ordered online and sent it to the wrong location. Not only was the manager super helpful in reordering my food and how to get my money back for the mistaken order. He actually checked up to make sure that i followed through to get my money back from the other dedham. I have ordered from this panera probably 5times a month sometimes less sometimes more but this is the first time i had interaction with any staff (i usually do rapid pick up) and they were super friendly and understanding. read more

Great staff everytime I go in. I do a lot of delivery as I work the area. Very good delivery people. Very friendly My only beef and the only reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is the amount of mistakes made with orders. Especially when ordering online. Nothing can get lost in translation. From chicken salads with no chicken to drinks missing it has all happened. In their defense the place is packed and they do always make it right. Stopped here for a quick visit with a dear friend and was pleasantly surprised by the very healthy breakfast options. Had the quinoa oatmeal with almonds which was good but needed a bit of cinnamon as the grain on its own is practically flavorless. Could also have benefitted from some raisins or chopped apple but I was just happy to see it as a menu offering. This chain establishment never disappoints. They have healthy options for you, but the prices are a little higher than I would like. This location is very large and spacious. There is plenty of room to sit and eat anywhere you would like or even to study as well. There are a bunch of outlets everywhere for which I really appreciate. The wifi is much to be desired though. Even with a long line, they crank out their guests. If you eat it there, they find you and bring the food to your table. Quick service, nice benefits for the MyPanera Card, and tasty food. Parking can be a little tight, as they share a lot with several other businesses. If I could give zero stars I would. Just bought a breakfast sandwich for my daughter and the egg is not cooked and the bread is hard as a rock. I would like to see the person that cooked this eat it. They obviously are going no were in life having so little self respect that they don't take pride in the occupation. The braintree pannera has always been so bad but the closest other pannera is in hingham and sometimes I drive there which the staff and management and food is always awesome.
