Craig's cafe is a low key, no frills spot that is good for breakfast. They have all your classics and the food gets the job done. I had the talk of the town breakfast sandwich and my wife had the breakfast burrito. Both were pretty standard dishes, what you would expect from a typical diner. From a value standpoint, it was a decent amount of food for the price. I thought the service was friendly and had that family business feel. They only had one cook when we went so food did take a little longer so not a place where you want to go if you are in a hurry. I did notice the floor inside was a bit dirty with food which I typically wouldn't comment on but my little one was running around and I couldn't help but notice. If a local diner, hole on the wall experience is what you are looking for and you aren't in too much of a hurry, Craig's is a decent choice.

Self serve coffee and several options of good quality. Indoor and outdoor dining and I ordered a bacon and mushroom hash, scrambled eggs and rye toast They have a daily creative breakfast special list. Food hit the five star level as well as service. Also local artisans sell their paintings which are on display. If in Quincy MA make Craig's Cafe a breakfast stop. Enjoy!

One of the best corned beef hash I've had! Loved the mimosa flights too and it's dog friendly. Definitely will be coming back.

YUMMY! We came for weekend brunch and it was super busy, so food and service was slow. However, it was well worth it. We both cleaned our plates. I recommend sitting outside for very good people-watching. We got the mimosa flight, and I'd recommend the mango and peach flavors for sure. It's $20 for three glasses. The chicken and waffles were sooooo good. Usually they're dry, bone-in, or not cohesive, but these were texturally perfect. The Irish Benedict was also amazing - their hollandaise is very good, and the corned beef was perfectly salty. The home fries were ok, but I think they are just hit or miss wherever you go. The bathroom is in kind of a weird place, but it's also fine. Definitely recommend if you're in Quincy Center.

As usual looking for a place on Yelp for brunch/ breakfast and found Craig's cafe in Quincy MA. Small quaint place n not that fancy. Great reviews on Yelp so thought we'd try it. Was a great choice. Friendly welcoming staff. We ordered the hot chocolate which was really good. My hubby got coffee n he enjoyed it. We got Leo's hash w toasted Portuguese roll, hurricane hash w white toast n California Benedict. Thoroughly enjoyed every morsel of food. Left a clean plate. Good sized portions. Tx u Craig's cafe for a yummy brunch. Will certainly stop by when we r in the area again.

Overall, I've really enjoyed most of the food I've tried from here! It's mostly on the level of comfort/diner/family owned cafe food which sometimes is exactly what I'm looking for!! Definitely recommend the benedicts, they do a great poached egg and a perfect hollandaise! I have also had the pancakes, quite filling because the portions are large so a good go-to if you're looking for a homestyle giant pancake! The home fries are also awesome! My personal favorite that I keep going back for is the California Benedict! Finally--appreciate the very friendly staff and the spacious outdoor seating! It tends to be a busy place even on weekdays for a good reason!

Heard about this place (via the wonderful internet) since I moved to the South Shore. Finally when opening the fridge yielded cobwebs, I decided to check Craig's out. For some reason, when I initially heard of it, I thought it would be something fancy-ish. Turns out, it's a pretty homey, down to earth place. Wouldn't call it a greasy spoon, but it also isn't one of those hip places that serves an avocado toast with pomegranate seeds. I ordered the Hurricane poached egg plate. It's a combination of a lot of ingredients, yet they all play together quite well. The veggies and potatoes were cooked and chopped very nicely and not at all greasy. Poached egg was cooked nicely as well! The sausage is in links, which is interesting considering the state of everything else. Though I'm not complaining. Also, bear in mind, the salsa and sour cream are not spread throughout, make sure you grab some bites as you go. I did find the buffalo aioli a little sharp and acidic for my taste, but if it is based on hollandaise, that is understandable. I did like the light kick of the buffalo though. The service was quick and attentive. Coffee was nothing remarkable, nor do I think it's supposed to be. Overall, everything pretty much meets my expectations. Something a little different, yet not pretentious. Good flavors, and reasonable prices considering the location.

ordered through DoorDash. food was not cooked all the way this has never happened to me before with Craig's. will not be ordering again

3 eggs, white toast, sausage, and home fries- yum!

Ask the Community - Craig's Cafe

Is this a good place to just sit and have an afternoon coffee? My husband and I are looking for a spot other than Starbucks to drink coffee/tea, and just chill. We also want to respect the restaurant if they prefer saving seats for diners?

Yes. I've had coffee there many times and Tom has made me/friends feel welcome

Owner-Yelp says no outdoor seating. Nice picture plainly shows outdoor seating. If people filter by outdoor seating, obviously will not show your place?

Outdoor seating is weather permitting and seasonal. It's a relatively new option at Craig's.

They were out of eggs, so I got a pork bun which was fluffy and delicious as well. They had a medium sized-menu with a good selection of your run of the mill American cafe staples as well as options that are harder to find in this area -- Saipao buns, ube lattes, lumpia... I was getting pissed off on the highway on my way to the school in Boston so I pulled off and was looking for a cafe somewhere in Milton or Quincy to work in until the traffic died off a little and found this on Apple Maps. So glad I stopped in! The cafe is bright and home-y, and they also are clearly trying to be a place to build community in the area. They have a whole library and check out system it seems for people to borrow books, and based on the signs welcome in anyone that needs to use the restroom or respite from whatever weather is going on! I used one of their tables and worked on some schoolwork, but they also had a variety of soft seating available. They had a really good playlist that had a great beat but was still kinda chill. It wasn't super busy, probably since it was midday on a Thursday, but damn it should be busier in there! Great spot... will most likely be stopping here the next time I find myself screaming at other cars and needing to calm my road rage. Another note: I saw a sign and it looks like they have a way for people to hold events here. If you had a community group that needed a spot to have meet ups I think this would be a great spot

It seemed silly to buy a whole quart of firewood at the end of the season, so we've been going to the grocery store. The wood is sub par, wrapped in environmentally unfriendly plastic and pops A LOT! I went on my way home while wearing a suit, heels and formal coat, and the gentleman helping us out would not let me touch a log. Their wood burns very nicely and is the perfect size. There are very few pops and the wood is high quality. We recently relocated to the Boston area, and had purchased wood from another source in NY.
