Chipotle chicken sandwich and broccoli cheddar soup
    Kim V.

A standard Panera Bread located in The Shops of Farmington. The first time I went in, I just ordered a hot coffee which was average. They give you a cup and you fill it up at the coffee station. The place was clean and the cashier was friendly and efficient. The second time, I ordered another hot coffee and a half chipotle chicken sandwich and broccoli and cheddar soup. I originally wanted the breakfast sandwich version with eggs on it, but it was 11 ish and they didn't have any eggs. The cashier asked their coworker, which I assumed was the manager if they had anymore eggs; he responded with a snarky "NO", I thought that was odd. We didn't know what exactly time breakfast ended, no snarkiness needed. The sandwich seemed a little skimpy but the flavor was good. The broccoli and cheddar soup was good; this also came with an apple or chips. Overall, it's average and a typical Panera Bread, nothing to write home about.

I should give Panera Bread 3 stars, but when I was here a few weeks ago it was an almost-perfect experience (my mothers grilled cheese was not made with the correct cheese). This time neither of the grilled cheeses were made correctly... I'm not sure why their chefs are so keen on using American Cheese; does anyone prefer highly processed "cheese flavored" American cheese anymore? The featured summer time "Strawberry Salad" was made without blueberries because they were out. The Asian Chicken salad (mine) was perfection. The pieces of bread that accompanied our meals were stale! So we were rather disappointed this time and Panera truly needs to work on consistency.

Oof.... Not a good look for Panera.

The breakfast sandwich was perfect! I really enjoyed it. My coffee tastes fresh and not sitting around going stale. The seating needs lots of love. This isn't like Panera's quality. They need to replace the seats in their booths.

I love Panera Bread they have delicious healthy meals and some banging broccoli & cheese soup and I obsessed with them scones. The mini scones are like dollops of damn goodness. When I'm in Canton, I always come here so this my first check in many to come.

After 7 months of strict self-quarantining, I decided to try curbside pickup at Panera. I ordered two loaves of French bread on the Panera app, paid, and provided a description of my car. When I pulled into the parking area, I used the app to announce my arrival. After 10 minutes of waiting, I wondered what was happening. I put on my mask, and went in. The area near the registers was dark and I was the only customer there. Two male employees saw me, but neither acknowledged me, or asked if I needed help. I looked on a shelf labelled "Rapid Pickup" for my order. Nothing. After 5 minutes or so, I called out and asked about my order. Since this was my first time ordering this way, I asked how curbside pickup worked. Apparently, I was to blame somehow, although I did everything the app asked me to do. The explanation I was given gave me no indication of what to do differently in the future to actually succeed in placing a curbside pickup order correctly, if indeed I did something wrong. The guy handed me two loaves of French bread. Since I am trying to avoid being in restaurants due to COVID-19, I was in a hurry to leave. I didn't think to check the condition of the bread, but when I got home I discovered Panera sold me two loaves of burnt, over-baked, stale bread. I ended up throwing it out. Never again.

Just your average Panera location. Comfortable and clean inside, staff are ok. Nothing to write home about. Food is good but extremely pricey. Portions tend to be on the smaller side, especially for the price. Service is usually pretty quick.

These days it's hard to find a cafe that isn't overpriced and better than just average. But Toasted Oat hits the high points of quality of cook on the food, even if the ingredients may not all be top notch. They have breakfast sandwiches, bowls and scrambles, as well as regular sandwiches, salads and burritos. We enjoyed the regular breakfast sandwich with spinach and cheese (subbed the meat but wish the spinach had been cooked in - $7) and the breakfast scramble which included 2 eggs, 3 veggies, cheese, protein all mixed/cut up together, as well as hash brown (didn't exactly look homemade?) and toast ($11). Everything was served in to-go containers so the looks weren't the best but makes sense given the place and that most people probably don't dine in. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. Everything takes time to come out so you know it's done to order. They also have some coffee and tea. They had a few coffee cake items in a glass display but didn't look homemade either. It feels like a cafe should have more selection of pastries but again bother me. Service was friendly and patient. The actual location isn't that great visually either. There is one longer table and a few smaller ones, but it's not a big place and not decorated to impress (fine by me!) It is located in a small nondescript plaza with an Indian market. Small parking lot. Wish this small business well!

That's because when you pull into the shopping plaza.....you don't see it. But if you circle around to the right, you'll see it on the side of the strip mall's buildings. And trust me, this spot is definitely worth hunting down to experience a standout breakfast or lunch. We walked in a little before 1:00 yesterday and found a table for two in the back left corner of the dining room, so we had a good view of the entire room. I have to tell ya, the place was packed! Breakaway closes at 3:00 every day except Sunday (2:00), and there were breakfast and lunch menus out, plus a few daily specials. My wife went with a "William's Ham Panini" ($17) with thin sliced ham, bacon, caramelized onions, cheddar and honey mustard on a grilled panini. We both were struck at how much ham was piled onto her sandwich. She had a few choices for a side dish and put her nickel down on potato salad. I went with The JT Salad ($16). The menu says it's been their "best-selling salad 25 years and counting". It was a big portion of mixed greens served with house balsamic dressing, grape tomatoes, gorgonzola cheese, and grilled chunks of teriyaki glazed chicken breast. It was stellar, with plenty of that yummy cheese and chicken. The only sour note with our lunch was a rather steep $4.25 for a glass of iced tea that was half-filled with ice. The food was very good and a decent amount of leftovers came home with us for another day. I was unexpectedly impressed by how crowded Bistro was on a random Monday. I bet you'll be too.

It has some hometown charm with a relatively large menu. We enjoyed the pad woon sen (flavorful), tamarind duck (crispy), fried rice, vegetable soup (healthy and nice broth that wasn't too salty), and lemongrass stir fry with tofu. The entrees are about $16-20 each. The sauce for the pad thai wasn't our favorite and tasted a bit too sweet. We also enjoyed the crispy spring rolls with taro and nonsteamed spring rolls. We would pass on the hot tea next time as it was just a regular tea bag. Service was welcoming. The space looks like a small two-story home with a few tables inside. Reservations are probably necessary since the place isn't big. They have a private parking lot so finding a spot is easy. Since it's on a busy road, making a left turn leaving can be a pain.

The restaurant was exceptionally clean, well organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The service was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. The peri-peri food was excellent. I ordered the half chicken dark and chose the hot spice level. It was extremely flavorful, tasty, and cooked just right. The peri-peri chicken was exceptional--every bit on par with Nando's. I also ordered a Caesar salad with chicken as the protein. You can choose the spice level for the chicken, and I went with medium on the salad. The salad was very fresh, and the peri-peri chicken was a very tasty addition to it. Another nice touch was that the cook came out and checked to see if my food had been prepared to my liking. That kind of care really stood out. One of the things that sets this place apart is that, although it offers carryout, it also has a comfortable dine-in area where you can enjoy your meal with real plates, silverware, and napkins instead of disposable items. That simple touch is a big plus. I highly recommend giving this place a try, and I will definitely be back.I

Our server was busy but super attentive and friendly. I noticed it was very kid-friendly since there were other kids there and they had a kids menu. Their menu was vast menu and I wanted to try so many food items. I started off with a hibiscus margarita; oh my, one of the best I've had, it was a 5/5. We also had the asian calamari; it's fried battered squid, banana peppers, and a side of sweet chili. This was mouthwatering good and it was a 4/5. I had a cesar half salad which was toothsome; the dressing, parmesan, croutons, and salad ratio was perfection. My main entree, I had the prosciutto wrapped cod; that is baked cod, wrapped with prosciutto, served over parmesan risotto and broccoli with lemon butter. The showstopper was the parmesan risotto, I could eat a gallon of that lol. The cod was okay, it needed more flavor but the prosciutto definitely helped with the flavor. Overall the cod fish was 3.5/5. Next time, I want to try their Thai sesame salmon, apricot shrimp risotto, pulled pork Mac and cheese, Bolognese, crab rangoon dip, and firecracker shrimp, to name a few.
