While visiting in Cedar Park, Texas, we went to a Panera Bread restaurant about 30 minutes before closing time this past Friday. We ordered a large order of mac and cheese; large coffee and several other items to take out. The girl who served us was very rude. When we got back to our hotel and opened the items, the coffee was barely warm and tasted awful; the mac and cheese container was half full; and the rest wasn't any better. It was too late to call them and explain how disgruntled we were because they were closed. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. I've never had such a bad experience at a Panera Bread, so I can only assume the manager is not very proactive. Thank goodness the ones we have in San Antonio are TOP notch! read more

Although I am a fan of panera, the service at the cedar park is terrible. I made a pretty simple order of a bagel with cream cheese and they were very slow. The bagel itself was not toasted as asked. They have all types of kiosks but efficiency is not a priority. If you want an egg soufflé which is a very popular item they usually run out regardless of the time.. Been coming here for over two years and enjoy this place very much. Stephen, is a great manager here and enjoy his staff. But one of the employees I enjoy who is underrrated is Chris Schoonover. He demonstrates some of the best customer service attributes. I can appreciate how he attends to customers and engages in friendly conversations. I had the new turkey flat bread, it has an excellent taste but the flat bread tore really easily and it became messy. I would still order it again but may ask to change the bread. The Panera brand chips are a little too thick for my liking so I would change my side item to something else. The flavored tea that I chose was extremely watered down and although it smelled good it just tasted like plain water. 2 strikes and your out Panera. First I paid for strawberries on my salad. You did not have any and then was shocked that I asked for a refund for just the strawberries. Weeks later second try at your Panera. Who ever prepared my salad as too lazy to look at the order and see that I took off arugula lettuce and replaced it with romaine. You left the skin on the avocado you put in my salad and last completely left off the 3 items I added into my salad. And Just FYI, the cleanliness of your restaurant is not great. Always have had a pleasant dining experience at Panera bread. Always have had a great on the go ordering experience. My food is always right, it's always good and I love the green tea and always ask for limited ice. The drive thru is great for morning breakfast, pastries, and coffee. Parking can be a pain with the other restaurants and shops and during lunch hour is kind of limited. However, panera always comes through when I need a quick and healthy option for lunch. read more

This location has terrible service. It took about 25 minutes to get a bagel sandwich (less than 5 people in the place, and some of them already had their food). The sandwich came out completely cold. The cheese was ice cold and still a perfect square shape, the bacon was cold, even the egg must have been sitting there for a long time. When I pulled up there where no cars out front and I thought "wow they aren't busy" now I know why! I really like Panera Bread. I really love there selection of healthy and delicious food choices. But, the only thing I do not like is that they are almost always run out of the vegetable soup by 1:00pm. Not a huge fan of sandwiches but the soups are pretty good as well. On the receipt it says if your order is done wrong they will give you a free muffin. I saw this and slightly hoped it was wrong. But to my surprise it was, deff says no tomatoes on my receipt. Now they were not busy with tons of customers, there were probably 4 tables in the whole store filled. On a very calm Sunday evening, my pick 2 dinner of half a grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup took almost 40 minutes to arrive. When it did, both were lukewarm. I so glad to see a Panera on 1431! In terms of food, it's standard Panera. Not necessarily super cheap, but on par with other fast casual places. I love the soups and breakfast there. The absolute best thing though is the drive-thru!!! Anyone who is a parent knows the pain it is to bring a kid in somewhere just to pick up food. As something that take minutes becomes an ordeal. To get fast casual food without unbuckling the kids is amazing and well worth whatever cost in my opinion! I hope other fast casual places follow suit! read more

Every time we come here the staff is friendly and accommodating. They truly want people to have a good experience. The food always tastes fresh in my experience. I enjoy eating at Panera regularly as the food is good and it's convenient to the medical center. Enjoy meeting friends for a quick bite to eat. For the most part the employees are attentive to our needs and pleasant. It is annoying and unprofessional however to see some of the employees flirting with each other on the job. That kind of thing is uncomfortable and shouldn't be at work. Also disturbing, particularly to me and my coworkers as medical professionals, is a very young and immature girl that appears to be a supervisor being at work glassy-eyed and obviously under the influence of drugs. You'd think management would recognize that if customers can so readily spot it. Or maybe they don't care. There are young kids working there so one would hope a young supervisor would set a better example. read more

I always had a great service at drive thru, sometime real slow but never make me disappointed, but today I wanted to walk in and there was some people said that they was like can not decided yet so they let me go first, and then I stand in the checkout table and wait about, hmmm, 5 minutes, i mean it not too long, but then i saw some one in the back just stand there and do nothing but talking.
