I love panera. Whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner - It's fabulous. This location hasn't disappointed me yet. They always have good coffee (my favorite being hazelnut). Good bagels and spreads, and breakfast sandwiches! My favorite is their black bean soup, chicken noodle soup, and french baguettes! The food at this Panera location is about the same as you get at every other Panera. Sandwiches, bagels, some baked stuff. I've had the Italian combo a couple of times, and it tastes good. The location is great. It sits on one of the higher hills in Clermont near the water tower and you can see the downtown skyline from the parking lot. The most recent time I went, every single empty table in the dining room was dirty. They weren't particularly busy, so I'm not sure what the problem was. They have posters of a new Cuban sandwich but they haven't had ham for weeks...jus take down the poster and put up a sign that you're out of ham. Besides the absence of ham, they're usually out of something else. Poorly stocked. Other than that this Panera is fine. read more

Well Panera Bread is one of my favorite places to go. When I am in doubt as to what I am going to eat, Panera always wins out. I have a gift card from the holidays to use here. This location in Clermont is the closest to me, but it isn't really my favorite location. I usually get the Fuji Apple Chicken Salad or Napa Valley Chicken Salad Sandwich or the Turkey Artichoke Sandwich or any of the soups are amazing as well. I love love love it here. read more

I went yesterday with a friend to Panera on my lunch break. I normally love the Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich so I got that and a plain Greek Salad as a Pick 2 meal. I added the cookie for 99¢ and a tea. The total came to just over $12. I got my sandwich and was shocked at how little chicken salad is on it. It was basically 2 over sized slices of bread with a small piece of lettuce, 2 tomato slices, and a half dollar size lump of chicken salad. I brought it up to the cashier thinking it must be a mistake and she was so rude to me, telling me it is supposed to come like that and I must have been over served in the past. She told me to go to the food counter if I want more. So I walked to the food counter and the girl giving out orders gave me a large scoop of chicken which I was grateful for. I ate my sandwich and started on my greek salad when I noticed chicken pieces that looked all chewed up. I didn't even order chicken with my salad?? Then I moved my fork through my lettuce and saw more chicken bits, edamame, corn, and red pepper. I think they gave me a bowl with someone's leftovers in it! Gross!!! I lost my appetite thinking about how I was possibly eating someone else's leftover bits. The bread piece they gave me was also very small, at most 2 inches. They used to give a decent sized hunk but this was teeny. I didn't say anything about the contaminated salad after the way I got treated after I asked about my sandwich. Needless to say I will not be back!! McAllisters is right down the street and their food is better!!! read more

There is a reason this location has two stars. It truly pained me to even give them even one star. I ordered delivery and received a sandwich with three long hairs. The manager proceeded to LAUGH at my request for a refund and said there is nothing he can do. Deliver a new sandwich? Require employees to wear a hair net? Don't laugh at a custom when they have been wronged? Terrible service, terrible manager who clearly hates his own job. read more

The food is very inconsistent. Today my wife had a bagel with a scrambled egg and ham. The egg did cover the hole in the bagel but not much else. You could almost see through the "scrambled egg". I had a scrambled egg with avocado, spinach, tomato and cheese. The egg delivered was an over easy, not scrambled, which does not work well with a sandwich and the avocado (what little was there) was over ripe and tasteless. My wife picked up the take-out food and even asked to make sure both sandwiches had the requested scrambled egg. Went there and ordered steak cheese sandwich with bowl soup. My soup was delicious. I noticed something funny about my sandwich. I placed an online order with 6:40PM as the time for pickup. My wife waited over 40 minutes for our order even though I had described our car in detail for curbside pickup. She finally went in and there was our order - stone cold - sitting there. That is sheer incompetence, the information was with the order, they just couldn't be bothered. read more

We eat here a lot and we generally know most of the employees. We've noticed two new employees that weren't good hires. Kelsey & Kayla Both were talking ( in front of us ) about how they hate working there. Both always have a nasty scowl on their faces. And both look like they should work at Hot Topic, not somewhere that people eat. read more

Great staff, lots of smiles, but those smiles wont make my food better. The amount of salad dressing is unacceptable meaning non-existent. The meat in the sandwich is very dry and bland. The poor execution of the order was not worth paying over $20+. read more

The Clermont location is not the greatest service location and I love Panera. The front end staff is not well versed on the ingredients which is odd because I know Panera's training methods. Been going here for a long time until the day my entire family got really sick eating this food. Wasn't gonna be the end of eating here until I emailed the company and then called and talked to the manager. She told me the GM would call me. Neither the GM or the company reached out. Yes, I think it's a but expensive. But you get healthy food and fast. What amazed me this time is customer service. One of my items wasn't done right, believe it or not had no turkey ON turkey flatbread! Since i picked up order to go and inly noticed mistake later, i called them. Wife and I came here Sunday after Mass. We both had ham, egg ,tomato on asiago bagel. $5.50 each. it was a real small size bagel ,the tomato was one thin slice about the size of a quarter. Ordered the large steak and white cheddar panini for $8.29. Very good but I guess, that being a first time customer, I expected more to it. Came with a one ounce bag of kettle chips. On the classy side decor for a Subway style sandwich though again, it was good. You order.and pay at one station, then move down to pick-up.. ( like Subway in reverse ). They misread the order and only made 1/2 of my panini, but quickly realized the mistake and by the time I was into the first half, they soon arrived with the second half, and an extra bag of chips. So I put in for a rapid pickup order like I do at most Panera's across Florida. Why is it the only one that ever gives me a hard time is my hometown one..... during breakfast I like a plain bagel with a little white cheddar then pressed. The cheddar is a dollar extra great. I order it and all hell rains down at this location. On the app theirs no way to add it so I put in notes but also order cream cheese to get charged the dollar. Then put no on the notes to not give me the cream cheese. I have been doing this order for almost 10 years. My wife goes to pick up they go you can do that you should've called so forth. She calls me I'm like what's the problem I use the same notes every time. Not it's funny because at other locations in Tampa, Orlando, and Fort Myers they all always tell me don't worry about adding the cream cheese it's not a problem. But I do because it's only fair. Really excellent food, wonderful music, best pastries and coffee in the area! There bacon and turkey sandwich is the bomb it's served on a tomato and basil bread with there signature sauce, and has lettuce and tomato I highly recommend it. All of the salads and top rate and you can't go wrong with they soup especially if you get it in the bread bowl. Very nice for a brunch, but can also make a great late lunch or even dinner! :) read more

I had an issue with a few things on my order yesterday and the girls on the cash register could not help me at all so i asked for a manager and the manager is a new one (im there all the time) she was so helpful and knowledgeable and fixed my issue. Terrible service for the third time! They just can't get good staff here. I placed a simple order of a dozen sliced Bagels to go and a cup of coffee. I got my coffee and stood there as customer after customer was served and no one work on my order. When I finally brought it to the staffs attention the girl who took my order didn't remember the order and said she must have lost it. Ridiculous. Worse, she got an attitude about her own mistake, making me feel like I was the one who made it. When she finally handed me my Bagels I thanked her despite her in confidence, and she simply huffed at me. This girl actually had a trainer badge on... So sad to know that she trains others! The food here is very good and most of the time the staff is good for the most part. There is a lack of seating though in this Panera and sometimes when its packed its hard to find a a place to eat. Also Ive noticed that since there is no actual place to form a line some of the patrons seem to walk right past you in line. You feel bad when its an older person but it happens alot for some reason at this place. Maybe a rope of some kind is in order. read more

If I had used the rest room prior to eating, I would have walked out HUNGRY. You can tell a lot about the hygiene of a restaurant by the condition of the restrooms. YOU FAILED Miserably. It is a shame that such a successful chain can be so lax in attending to the conditions that are out of sight. If the restrooms are in such disgusting condition, then I could only imagine what the kitchens' sanitary conditions are like. It was my first time eating at Panera Bread location anywhere and I will not be going out of my way to repeat the experience.
