I live in Cypress but I've come here with my boyfriend a few times when I'm visiting. The line was long today and it was pretty crowded but you can't really help that in college station. Once we ordered and got our drinks we looked for a spot to sit and every empty table was very dirty. After finding a table that was not totally bad we waited around ten minutes for our food. The food was good, just like all of the other Panera's I've been to. I ordered the half baked potato soup and half Greek salad and he got the broccoli cheddar soup and the Sierra turkey sandwich and we enjoyed everything. Only complaint was they need to clean the tables faster. read more

Went through the drive-thru this afternoon. Gave my order and forgot to add soup. So I added it when I got to the window to pay. The look on the guy's face when I told him I wanted to add soup was very disappointing. I don't think I'll be going there again. He looked very annoyed. Hmm I thought Texas had southern hospitality? Panera is a waste of time and money. no matter the location they are usually so slow. i tried it out one last time and I left half way through my $13 meal. which consisted of a tiny half sandwich and a small cup of soup. both of which i know aren't even fresh and are delivered to the store premade in plastic bags. then on top of that, the wifi didn't even work and there's only like, one table next to an outlet??? which was the reason i even went. do not go unless you're fine with paying $15 for a crumb and splash of soup and not getting any work done. 0/5 stars for all Panera's read more

Ordering was easy. Cashier was quick and accommodating. I always, always go after 11 so that I can get the soups that are always great! I love the veggie and cheddar soups best. We had the flatbread pizza and it was just soo good. It fills you but doesn't leave you feeling disgusting like a regular pizza would. We also love the passion papaya green tea. Has improved significantly. Few errors and better service. Although some of the seasonal offerings mysteriously disappear, they some pretty solid salads and soups. Their coffee is better than starbucks. Still a chain and still inferior to other local places. read more

This is the WORST panera bread ever! We took our 6yr old here for her birthday tonight because that is where she wanted to go with dad and mom. She got a kids soup meal, my husband got a salad/soup combo and I got a sandwich/soup combo( nothing to difficult) oh, and my daughter wanted a bagel. It took 40min to get the bagel then when we finally got our food, my soup was cold and they didn't give me a spoon or my husband a fork for his salad. I had to get someone to get me another soup which wasn't much better. The lady who helped us said she would get manager that never came over. The couple who ordered after us got their food after ours AND the so called manager brought it out. He told them he would refund them for the wait because that was to long but when we confronted him, he acted dumb and didn't offer to refund ours even though we waited longer. He had ZERO manners and looked like a bum off the street. I have 8 kids with much better manners and I'm probably twice his age and he never once showed any manners. We had kids waiting at home and still had an hour drive back to Brenham so we weren't happy! Next time we will drive to a different panera bread if my Littles just have to have it. Ordered southwest Chile chicken salad several times and I really love it, fresh and tasty, maybe my favorite salad in town. I always order online and get the rapid pickup, but this time, when I picked up my food and came home, I found there is NO CHICKEN in the Southwest CHICKEN salad. Had to be the worst sandwich I ever paid for. It was mostly burnt bread, and oily residue. There were two small wilted leaves of Arugula, two extremely thin (see through thin) soggy slices of tomato, and I couldn't even find cheese. It was supposed to be a Caprese sandwich. Never again. I love going here. The cheddar broccoli bread bowl is outstanding! The staff is always professional and the establishment is always clean.

We had went through the drive thru and ordered our food. When we got to the window we sat at the window for a good 10 minutes without any acknowledgement from the staff. Finally when they came to the window they didn't apologize for the wait. We gave the girl at the window 2 gift cards that zeroed out which was fine. Then on the last one had $20 left on it so we used it to pay the rest of our bill and she handed us our food and didn't give us our gift card back when we had confronted her about it she had said oops I'm sorry and grabbed from the top of a shelf where she had put it. I had to talk my husband into coming here and now we will never be back:( our food was small for price and service at counter and table was awful! The witch at the counter seemed very put out that we were ordering food at all; this behavior seemed to be reinforced by her supervisor. They have a number system to bring u ur order and had to ask the table next to us what they had got. The lady who brought us our food thought it would be fun to play a guessing game with our food while she breathed and made noises all over it--gotta love that before your coffee. Suck Attitude. The food is okay. But, I don't like their attitude. I ate the breakfast there, and used their free wifi to check my email and deal with my work. I didn't notice I had been sit there from breakfast to lunch time. Suddenly the wifi is disconnected and popped a windows showing a message, WE ARE ASKING YOU TO LEAVE SINCE YOU HAVE OCCUPIED A TABLE TOO LONG, ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE ARE SO MANY CUSTOMERS NOW. I was so upset to be asked to leave in this way. Their enterprise spirit is to consider each person a money source instead of a real person who deserves to be respected. And I found there is a camera monitoring everyone all the time. It can explain why they knew how long I had been seated. The food is pretty good and I am glad that the chain decided to put one in College Station. However, just wanted to caution people about parking. Parking space is very small. It gets full very quickly. If the parking is full, do not go and park next door in the bank parking lot. A friend of mine just recently got her car towed from the banki's parking lot and it cost her $150 to get the car back. Panera must put parking sign up very clearly, otherwise many of you wil have an expensive lunch/dinner at the restaurant. read more

On my fourth visit to the CS Panera, I received a bowl of lukewarm black bean soup. I had to heat it up in the microwave for 1 minute before eating. (Yes, Panera has a microwave intended for patron use. It's right underneath the coffee bar. I find this somewhat odd. Does it mean they're planning to serve improperly heated food?) This Panera Bread is the most disgusting location this franchise has. My husband and I have gone to this location three times now, and all three times have been absolutely disappointing. My husband ordered the broccoli cheese soup and Mediterranean veggie sandwich. His soup was cold and gelatinous. I ordered the steak and white cheddar panini with tomato soup The "steak" panini was just some glorified version of roast beef, the meat was still cold, and the bread was somehow burned and soggy at the same time. My soup was freezing cold. There's no wonder all of the other reviews talk about employees that seem unhappy, because we witnessed the manager (Craig) belittling and purposely confusing his employees. We saw the manager bark an order at the employee, and when the employee asked if he was being sarcastic or serious, the manager replied that he is being both sarcastic and serious. This clearly discouraged his employee. Furthermore, the manager was too busy playing graba** with a female employee to say greet patrons of this establishment. We have been to other Panera Bread locations that are fabulous, and so we continued to give this one a chance. Never again will we visit the College Station Panera Bread. read more

Fast food place!! Food is all frozen, things like pastas, Mac and cheese, and oatmeal are also microwaved. Bread isn't made there dough comes in from somewhere else and is baked. All pastries and cookies and stuff are frozen and then baked. Turkey and ham are pre packaged meats like what you can get from Wal Mart. All other meats are frozen. You pay way to much to be getting frozen and microwaved foods. Go somewhere else and get fresh food! read more

We visited Panera in College Station on 8/25/19! First of all, College Station is so fortunate to have such an attractive Panera cafe! We think it is so inviting, much different from the one in our city. The young lady who assisted us was extremely polite and patient. The inside of the restaurant was quite clean and someone was constantly cleaning and picking up customers dishes once they had left. I like the food from this chain, but the employees at this location are not very smart. Every time I go there I order a baguette they give me chips instead. Wi-Fi for only 30 minutes at a time Panera has implemented a policy of kicking off Wi-Fi users after 30 minutes of usage. However, they advertise free Wi-Fi. When I mentioned this fact to one of the managers she promised to reset the connection, but did not do so until I went there a second time after waiting for about 15 minutes. She apparently din't think the issue was important enough. I go to Panera specifically to get food, coffee and work on mycomputer. If they have a limit on computer time, they should state it clearly so I could go to other places such as Hardback Coffee, Sweet Eugene's, Mugwalls, Evans Library and all the other places that understand the concept of working while enjoying a cup of coffee. My recommendation is that you skip the big franchise and support your local businesses that are more considerate towards the needs of people in a college town. read more

We love going to Panera but this one's an exception...orders were wrong..my husband ordered the large smoothie but got a smaller size. .so they made it a large by just adding ice and blending it...it literally tasted like watered down..so sorry but service and taste of food does not live up to the "panera" company.
