Most of the food was OK but my main entrée my grilled shrimp was terrible. I should've known better don't order seafood in a steakhouse. It was undercooked and clearly it was frozen first to this huge stick so it could not possibly cook all the way through Just bad. Music was way too loud they did turn it down for me, but if you pay cash be aware that if you don't have exact change the waitresses don't either they're supposedly required to, but they don't and if they don't have the correct change, they'll just pretend they don't owe it to you. I left a tip would not have if I had realized she was the one shortchanging me not the business. But the business has a stupid policy of the waitresses are responsible for their own cash, which I get to a certain extent, but they should make sure that they have what they need to take care of the customers. read more

Love Texas Roadhouse, first time at this location. Super busy for a Wednesday but we were fine with that. Server was great, very sweet n chill guy n he took care of us. Overall service in general though was mid. We only got one glass of water the entire 2 hours or so we were sitting there. Had to try the new blackberry sour, man it was SOOO overly sweet. For food, i got the meal deal they got going on now if you pick out your own steak, i was so excited because it was the first time i ever picked one out. Cactus blossom and rolls always yum. This is where it all went south.. i got my meal, and there was a damn hair in my food!!! They remade the whole plate but it took foreverrrr. Didn't get to repick my steak. We ordered for online pickup. They gave us a 1:58pm pickup time. We arrived on time and texted we were there; text response said our order was not ready yet. No problem it was Easter Sunday. About 30 minutes later they came by to ask our name, we gave it to them. 20 minutes after that, they brought our food (50 minutes after our assigned pickup time). We got home and everything was cold, soggy, and mushy. The chicken fried steak batter was coming off the steak and was soggy. The Cactus Blossom (their fried onion thing) was just a pile of soggy/wet mush. We tried putting it all in the air fryer at home but it was just all terrible. To be that cold and unfresh, I think the food must have been sitting there ready to bring out the whole time. It was really frustrating becaues we spent $83 on that meal. read more

Honestly, this was one of the worst service experiences I've had. I've been to multiple other road houses and I've had better experiences than this one. We came 30 minutes before they closed. We had our order in the kitchen long before the kitchen even closed. Our server Mychala was just not ok. I work full-time at a restaurant as a server and a hostess. And if I could give her a rating, it would be zero. I understand that things can be a little harder right before closing time, but it is common knowledge across the board in customer service that you never make a customer feel unwelcome or an inconvenience. And we were definitely treated that way. Our food came out cold, and the appetizer was forgotten. She didn't refill our drinks once or check on us. She disappeared for 20 minutes and I had to go to the front counter and specifically ask for her to come back and give us the checks. And then when we proceeded to pay for our food, naturally, we left her quite the small tip, given the service. As we were leaving, she followed us out the door and said, "excuse me, do you have any idea how much a server makes an hour?" I replied that we did. And then she proceeded to give us a whole confrontation about how much money she makes and also inform us about the unacceptable amount of tip that we left. She was like "guys, I have bills to pay, and this does not help! Just to give you an idea of how I live." It is a known principle that you NEVER let on to customers that they didn't "leave enough" gratuity. Following guests out the door to lecture them about money is a major boundary violation. It's considered harassment, intimidation, and a fireable offense in many restaurants. Even when a tip is bad, ESPECIALLY when it's bad -- the rule is: you say nothing, ever. Our every visit to this location has been great, but last night was definitely one of the best!! This was one of the first places that my husband and I frequented while dating many years ago. It is where my husband learned about "Pittsburgh Style" steak, charred on the outside, med rare inside! Ineca made the night over the top great. Some other patrons started joking around with her and I joined in when I saw how good naturedly she was taking it. She played along, didn't get irritated at our silly (but not offensive) joking. I was in Texas and with some meat eaters so where to go, of course Texas Roadhouse! The restaurant itself was very loud and people were having a great time! We started with the typical things that a person would get at this kind of place. The onion thing and fried pickles. Both were good if you only take a few bites but after that, na. I had shrimp with rice, corn and a sweet potato. The waitress asked me if I wanted marshmallows on the potato. I passed on that. Everything except the sweet potato should just have been called Salt. What you'd expect except for the (seasonal?) frozen key lime margarita which was like having dessert before the entree. Creamy and topped with a lime wedge, it tasted exactly like a key lime pie. Great summer beverage! Our server, Jacob, was very attentive and enthusiastic and that is always nice to encounter. You can tell when someone enjoys their job. Shout out to Jacob. No shout out to policy makers, however, that even at 5 p.m. on a nonbusy day when multiple big tables were set up they require 50% of the party to be present before seating anyone. The bread is hot and fresh every time and the butter melts in your mouth. As for my meal, I ordered a Kids Cheeseburger Slider Meal with Steak Fries. The sliders were made using the same rolls I believe, so they were delicious too. The meal also came with pickles on the side, and I was extremely full afterwards. The service here was great. The floor was so filthy and covered in mashed food, utensils and a dirty diaper shoved under one of the chairs. We had to ask for utensils and they were filthy. However, recently I've noticed that they have turned the music up so incredibly loud that it doesn't even make logical sense. We were yelling at each other, and we couldn't even understand one another that's how loud it is. It's as loud as a bar. It was my son's birthday, so we all decided to go somewhere where we could actually visit and socialize. After all, isn't that important when you go out together to eat? Uncomfortably loud. Illogically LOUD. I see a lot of reviews about this on here and it sounds like they don't plan on changing it so I just don't go there anymore. However, LESLY & KAITLYN at the entrance, taking names and numbers, with their welcoming smiles and cheerful personas gave us hope so we provided our contact name & number. The time quoted was a long, the the happy faces of folks leaving after their meals was a clue that it would be worth the wait! However, we would periodically return to the entrance podium to see if there were updated sooner entry/dining changes! Each time, those two ladies were spectacular in their interactions with us and with everyone else we observed, en masse, descending upon them! As we were led to our table we were impressed with the every aspect of the restaurant, and every that every Texas Roadhouse team member looked thrilled to be there as did the guests! Took my family to their first Texas Roadhouse experience. Although nobody likes peanuts enough to get it, but even if we did, we couldn't throw them on the floor on all over the table lol. In Hawaii, if you do that, you'd get slapped by the waitress or waiter lol. Anyways, we ordered the 20oz bone in ribeye (char flavored delicious), Country Fried Chicken (crispy and gravy was excellent), All American Cheeseburger (huge, flavorful, and juicy). For the sides, we had garlic mash potatoes, steamed broccoli, corn, and fries. We also ordered the fried pickles (I dislike pickles, buuuut frying them up is on another level and makes it delicious) and the Cactus Bloom (super tender and delicious). I had a very bad experience at the College Station TX restaurant. As my wife and I walked in they had music blaring very loud. I asked the young lady at the front if they had an area where the music was not so loud. She said yes they had an area where the music was not loud, otherwise we would have left the restaurant at that point. We were seated in an area where the music was loud so I told our waiter we were promised to be seated in a quite area. She said she would have the volume turned down. It never was turned down.
