Cactus Blossom-
Sofia A.

Love Texas Roadhouse, first time at this location. Super busy for a Wednesday but we were fine with that. Server was great, very sweet n chill guy n he took care of us. Overall service in general though was mid. We only got one glass of water the entire 2 hours or so we were sitting there. Had to try the new blackberry sour, man it was SOOO overly sweet. For food, i got the meal deal they got going on now if you pick out your own steak, i was so excited because it was the first time i ever picked one out. Cactus blossom and rolls always yum. This is where it all went south.. i got my meal, and there was a damn hair in my food!!! They remade the whole plate but it took foreverrrr. Didn't get to repick my steak. Overall service went down after that too. They didn't even comp the check for this gross incident until we asked about it. Won't be coming back to this location, hella disappointing.

Steak

Buckle up for this review. 1. Chunks of floaters in my water 2. Hair and food on our new plates 3. I killed a roach (we saw 3) (one fell in a ladies hair) 3. I had blue on my lemon (THEY SPILLED ALCOHOL ON THE LEMON CONTAINER AND LEFT IT ??) 4. Raw rolls and a manager with a FAT attitude when I told her 5. Cold, over cooked steak (sent THREE steaks back) 6. THEY ALL CAME BACK MOOING This was the most insane experience ever and they only comped half of our bill when we told them everything that happened. I have never been more disappointed in Texas Road House.

8 oz NY strip med rare and loaded mashed potato

Our every visit to this location has been great, but last night was definitely one of the best!! This was one of the first places that my husband and I frequented while dating many years ago. It is where my husband learned about "Pittsburgh Style" steak, charred on the outside, med rare inside! Ineca made the night over the top great. Some other patrons started joking around with her and I joined in when I saw how good naturedly she was taking it. She played along, didn't get irritated at our silly (but not offensive) joking. She kept up with her work duties while still being responsive. Hannah and amber were also great. And the food was perfect! Our steaks were some of the best we've ever had. Keep doing great college station texas roadhouse!!

Gave it 2 stars but I think it's just not my kind of place. Other people like it though because it was packed so the reviews really don't matter. I was in Texas and with some meat eaters so where to go, of course Texas Roadhouse! The restaurant itself was very loud and people were having a great time! We started with the typical things that a person would get at this kind of place. The onion thing and fried pickles. Both were good if you only take a few bites but after that, na. I had shrimp with rice, corn and a sweet potato. The waitress asked me if I wanted marshmallows on the potato. I passed on that. Everything except the sweet potato should just have been called Salt. I'm not even going to go on with this review, like I said before, the reviews don't matter here. This place is packed every night so make a reservation.

Adult beverage. (Key lime pie margarita)

What you'd expect except for the (seasonal?) frozen key lime margarita which was like having dessert before the entree. Creamy and topped with a lime wedge, it tasted exactly like a key lime pie. Great summer beverage! Our server, Jacob, was very attentive and enthusiastic and that is always nice to encounter. You can tell when someone enjoys their job. Shout out to Jacob. No shout out to policy makers, however, that even at 5 p.m. on a nonbusy day when multiple big tables were set up they require 50% of the party to be present before seating anyone. I get it - a party of 7 wastes a big table if they don't show up but that could have been explained instead of just having Grandma and Grandpa stand under a sign wondering why they weren't being seated. The bread and butter is always good. So are the peanuts, and so is the Medallion salad with blue cheese dressing I always get. And yep, loved that drinkable key lime pie!

This the best steak in town.

This the best steak in town. Today we celebrated my wife birthday. The choice a nice steak and a baked potato. You could have a better meal. We had a nice waitress that brought her full attention on us. She was great!!! So, we you are hungry for a good steak here is place you what to go.

Kids Cheeseburger

As we all know, Texas Roadhouse is KNOWN for it's ICONIC ROLLS & CINNAMON BUTTER... and I'll tell you right now I will come here solely for that. The bread is hot and fresh every time and the butter melts in your mouth. As for my meal, I ordered a Kids Cheeseburger Slider Meal with Steak Fries. The sliders were made using the same rolls I believe, so they were delicious too. The meal also came with pickles on the side, and I was extremely full afterwards. The service here was great. Our server was on top of everything and was prepared for all the questions we had. It was also crowded inside but there was plenty of space and seating. Overall, I'll forever go to this place as long as they continue serving the free rolls and cinnamon butter!

Like it a lot. Close to our home in Paige. My favorite is the meat and gravy over French fries, peppers, mushrooms and onions.

Bar drinks are above par, housemade syrups and fresh juices. The bartender served us. She, Lacey (if I remember correctly) was great, had good recommendations and was very knowledgeable. My son had the scallops shrimp and grits, he cleaned the plate. I had chicken fries steak and fries with jalapeño gravy. Food was very good. Definitely be visiting this place again!!

My son ordered the scallops and to say they were gritty was an understatement. And the service...well when we could flag our waitress down we got service. Otherwise she was nowhere to be found. My husband flagged down another waitress after we had been sitting there for 15 minutes without any water or drinks. We also had to flag her down for the check. Considering the price tag for the night, I expected the service to be better.

Came here for the first time with my wife celebrating our 17th year wedding anniversary…read more Appetizers: Jumbo Lump Crab Cake- tons of fresh crab meat that was flavorful. Escargot Stuffed Mushrooms- a bit tiny, but packed with buttery goodness. Entrees: A5 Wagyu Flat Iron- this was a special and it wasn't tender enough to cut with just a fork like I've experienced, but still pretty tender and very juicy. Seasoned perfect to eat by itself, but it came with 4 different restaurant-made steak sauces. Mesquite Smoked Short Ribs- very tender and can be torn to shreds with a fork. Comes with mash potatoes and gravy and some crispy noodles for texture. Very flavorful. Sides: Maple Bacon Pecan Brussel Sprouts- very delicious and flavorful. Smoked Mashed Potatoes- very thick and smokey, but delicious. Definitely need some water lol. Poblano Creamed Corn- my wife liked this, but I didn't care for that creamy corn texture lol. Dessert: Marie Antoinette Cake- chocolate mousse cake that was perfectly rich with some kind of raspberry or berry drizzle. Also came with these super delicious alcoholic infused strawberries that paired super well. Overall, it was a pricey dinner, but not as pricey as I thought. Definitely had a great time and worth the price and experience. The restaurant ambience was dim and cabin-like setting with lots of beautiful decor. Our waiter, Gabriel was super friendly and helpful. He recommended a lot of our dishes tonight. Lots of parking and they also offer complimentary valet services.

The poblano cream corn might be one of the best sides we've ever had. The key lime pie with the almond graham cracker crust was the perfect way to end it. And the Mash Madness whiskey competition is such a cool touch -- blind tasting between A and B like March Madness for bourbon. Makes it even more fun.

I was pretty delicious and juicy, but nothing spectacular about it. The portions are large for a very affordable price so that's a huge plus. Beefmaster fries wasn't that great, but the fried pickles were nice and crispy and very flavorful. The steak was pretty flavorful, but it was slightly overcooked so make sure you go 1 under on what you actually want. I wanted a perfect medium so I should've went medium rare, but instead I got medium well with some pieces well done. The avocado chicken breast had very little avocado, but as dry as the chicken breast looked, it was actually pretty juicy. Overall, for cheap eats and for some pretty good food, come support this business and bring a patch if you are first responder as it appears they collect them on their wall. I should've brought my patch from Hawaii for them. The staff were all friendly and fast. Lots of parking outside and lots of tables to dine on. The beef was tasty and juicy, and all the toppings were from the farm fresh. Even the fries were delicious. The prices were very affordable as well! Greta place for a family-friendly meal. No wonder the locals pack this place!
