I have always been a fan of Panera! Took the boyfriend to eat here for the first time, and well it wasn't the best experience. The cashier seemed like she was high, and took forever to take our order. When we went to get our drink, there were no straws, they were sitting on the counter the whole time and needed to be restocked. Our food came out in a timely manner, which was good. He got the bacon turkey bravo and broccoli cheddar soup, both were delicious. I on the other hand ordered the tortellini Alfredo with a Cesar salad. The salad was great, however the tortellini tasted like something that was frozen and microwaved, there was hardly any sauce, and they threw a bunch of cheese on it. Worst Panera ever. I have come to the cajalco location several times this year.... all were terrible. Their food is usually okay if it doesn't take over 20 mins to get and they actually get the order right. Tonight, I ordered my kids pb&j and a grilled cheese. Grilled cheese came out first....waited an additional 15 mins while the pb&j sat up on the counter and I had to get it myself. My panini was cold. The servers are slow. The cashiers seem irritated if you don't rush through but always push the pastries and sweets a with a smile. I keep giving this place second chances and they continually disappoint. read more

Good thing I enjoy their food, because I just called twice to place an order to go and both times it rang multiple times just to be hung up on. Unacceptable!!! I have been coming to this Panera ever since it opened up...since I work in the area. I love the atmosphere and the workers. It can get get overwhelmingly busy...especially on hot summer days. If you don't mind waiting...this is your spot. Just beware Sundays and Lunch time...it can get pretty packed. Sometimes there isn't any seating...which can get frustrating...but oh well. They always have the freshest bagels. I go there after my runs in the mornings and they are always friendly and have smiles on their faces. Ive been helped by Margie the last few days and she has been more then great, she made my time there very enjoyable. I even got a free strawberry smoothie when I used my panera card. read more

I've been having problems going through kiosk and logging in online to place an order. At chino hills the guy at the register it may be because the system is down. Apparently the system goes in and out so he apologized and took my order at the register with my member#. The next day in corona I had same issues. I approached the register to explain he took my member # and again was able to go through but not at the kiosk or online. He left the register to attempt to log me in at the kiosk himself as he wanted to see what the problem was. He tried several times but nothing. He too was puzzled. He contemplated on what to do. He didn't even bother his manager. In an attempt to satisfy his customer for the inconvenience, he decided to give me a free drink and a pastry of my choice with my lunch order. Additionally, he gave me a new card to register and start fresh. He apologized for the inconvenience. Now that's what I call QUALITY customer service. If you like runny eggs, go to Panera for breakfast. I ordered a steak and egg bagel sandwich and asked for over medium egg. Well, they got attitude with me and said we can't do that.. it's against their policy. So the suggested scrambled eggs which were super watery because they use fake liquid eggs and not fresh cracked eggs. So then I got over easy and it was barely cooked not even technically over easy. Was almost raw... disgusting and they were rude and condescending about it. Never again. read more

the broccoli cheddar soup is TO-DIE-FOR! dip the french baguette in it, even better. there's so much good food here it's ridiculous. get a cinnamon crunch bagel for breakfast, come back and get the U-pick two for lunch and get a pastry to go for dessert, you can't go wrong with any of them and it also won't break your pocketbook. the strawberries and cream scone is so yummy, it tastes just like a pop tart, but BETTER! i also fancy the tuna sandwich on country bread, much much better than subway. read more

I love panera but tonight this location ruined it. I ordered the broccoli cheddar soup and chipotle chicken pannini. They brought me something that looked like grilled cheese. I didnt send soup back since I figured they were busy which they were. I sent pannini back. The cashier said she would bring it to me. 15 nothing ! I asked oh they are working on it ok. 15 more min go by nothing ! Finally someone comes by but to clean up our table yea all my friends were done with their dinner. John helped me tonight as was extremely rude I asked him what kinda of bread was available and he told me can you not read. It was more the way he said it and with attitude I get it you hate your life and job but you don't need to take it out on the customers I'm here to pay for a service not get attitude. Stopped in for an after school snack and found a new favorite lunch spot. I ordered the veggie sandwich and iced tea with the chocolate brownie. What an excellent snack! I especially liked the iced tea mixture. I will be visiting again in the near future for sure! read more

This is a great place for dieters. Small portions. High in flavor. And they let you divided your portions into halves t for example half. Soup and half sandwich. Overall, nice place, good food at a fair price and nice variety. Would have given 4 or 5 starts, but have noticed a decline in some areas over the last year or so. Staff seems to be getting less friendly and out-going. This is based on multiple visits, not just a single lunch. Some employees have been plain grumpy. And clean those tables. While I clean my own table and throw out the trash, some people leave their dirty dishes, etc., behind. Yes, lunch can be busy, but I've seen tables left cluttered 15-30 mins. And when the table is cleared, the employee doesn't even bother to wipe the table down? Stop being lazy, if you don't like your job, move on. This location is never clean. Always hard to find a table. They are either dirty or taken up by people who are not eating and only there taking up space with their huge laptops using the free wifi. Management! Do something! Food is overpriced. Forget it if you are gluten free. There are no options for you and the employees are not knowledgeable enough to answer any questions about gluten anyway. I never get the same answer twice. One employee told me I could have anything without cheese and that would make it gluten free. Huh??? Very disappointed. My kids like the mac and cheese so I would put up with the unsanitary conditions and suck up the high prices and just not order anything for my gluten free self to let my kids have a treat but not anymore. Best Panera bread location. It's a shame I have to drive to this location because of their excellent service. The one in riverside is always out of everything and the wait is long. This particular location is always fast even when they are busy. They always have a smile and even offered me a complimentary drink while I waited for my phone order. Great job guys! Ordered out I got two pick2 meals and I wasn't asked what I wanted on the side of my meals (an apple, a bag of chips, or a baguette) and if I wanted a pastry. We come here every Monday with my daughter. We love their cheese pastry and iced teas. That's all we order every week. Unfortunately the coffee here is not enjoyable, you can feel that burned taste to it. So as a coffee lover I have to stick to the iced tea, buy I don't mind it a bit. read more

This is the best Panera location in the area! They always get my order correct, when I order a to-go order it always has ample napkins/utensils and is ready promptly. I also appreciate the friendly staff! For me the staff is make or break for the business, if they are rude I will not give them my business again. I have NEVER had that experience here, they are always lovely and helpful! Especially the morning workers...They are my favorite and always chipper. Love the food! Have been very disappointed the last few visits with the cleanliness of the restaurant. The beverage area was a mess, with no butter, no napkins and lots of trash. Many tables uncleared, and the floor with bread, trash etc.. all over the restaurant. The first time I chalked it up to it being busy and having a bad day, however now it has been a third time. I placed an order for carry out two days ago. When I arrived home, I realized that I was shorted a sandwich (the chipotle and chicken avocado sandwich). I've tried calling this location for two days to resolve this issue and no one answers the phone. The automated recording says that the lunch and dinner rush are their busiest hours, so if your call is not answered, please try again. Two days later I still have not been able to talk to anyone. I would have loved to leave a 4 or 5 star review, but the lack of guest service gets them a 1 star. I can't wait until I call again on day three and the employee on the phone says something like "well, why didn't you call us when you realized you were missing a sandwich?" read more
